[16] A Brief Look at Pseudo Researchers in Salafiyyah: [Examination of a Fabricated Quietist Faction Within Salafiyyah Called Mad’khalism]

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Allah [The Exalted] said:

O you who believe! Stand out firmly for justice, as witnesses to Allah; even though it be against yourselves, or your parents, or your kin, be he rich or poor, Allah is a Better Protector to both (than you). So follow not the lusts (of your hearts), lest you may avoid justice, and if you distort your witness or refuse to give it, verily, Allah is Ever Well-Acquainted with what you do. [Surah An-Nisaa. Ayah 135]

The deceivers stated: “Though often lumped together with all other Salafists and Islamists, the Madkhalists have been noted for their opposition to and mutual rivalry with Salafist jihadism. The Madkhalist movement has been described as politically quietist, eschewing the organized political efforts of the mainstream of Salafism and even going as far as to declare religious clerics who participate in modern political system to be heretics or even apostates. Such politically active Salafists are often described by followers of Madkhalism as part of an international conspiracy against “true Salafism.” On the other hand, Western intelligence agencies have identified Madkhalists as a group which can be supported and funded discreetly by the US, in comparison to the rest of the groups seen under the wider Salafi movement”. [End of quote]

Response: First of all, as we have repeatedly established in this series, there is no such thing as a “Mad’khalist Movement or Strain” within Salafiyyah, rather, this term was concocted by those who want to vilify Al-Allaamah Rabee Bin Haadi Al-Mad’khali [may Allah protect him] because he rebutted and exposed those figureheads who attempted to undermine or falsify the sound Salafi Methodology.

Second, Salafiyyah is the only path based on the path of Sahaabah. It does not accommodate so-called strains called the Madkhalists, Jihadists, quietists, or a group that establishes organised political activity. There is no question that those who bundle it in with any other way are either ignorant or pseudo-researchers in this field. Click here to read:

https://abukhadeejah.com/what-is-salafism-and-salafiyyah/

Third, it is crucial to include information about Jihaad in this article because idiots, pseudo-researchers, demagogues, ideologues, and rabble-rousers always want to distort this topic by attributing Jihaad to the actions of terrorists and the leaders of innovated political activity that desperately want to hide behind Salafiyyah. Fourth, any engagement in organised political activity by a group or party other than under a Muslim ruler’s authority is wrong and alien to Islam, and Salafiyyah is far removed from this bidah. The explanations provided by Salafi Scholars about political activity and governmental affairs do not give any room to the innovated methodologies of the modern political parties and groups that ascribe to Islam. Imam As-Sadi [may Allah have mercy upon him] said:

The Islamic Shariah has decided the issues of Siyaasah [Footnote a] in the most comprehensive manner and guided towards all that should be done when dealing with Muslims and others based on the best and most just system- combined mercy and strength in the affair, leniency and compassion, and mercy for the people whatever the circumstances may be. When that is not possible, force is employed prudently and justly, rather than injustice and violence. Allah [The Exalted] said:

إن الله يأمر بالعدل والإحسان وإيتاء ذي القربى وينهى عن الفحشاء والمنكر والبغي يعظكم لعلكم تذكرون وأوفوا بعهد الله إذا عاهدتم ولا تنقضوا الأيمان بعد توكيدها وقد جعلتم الله عليكم كفيلا

Verily, Allah enjoins Al-Adl (i.e. justice and worshipping none but Allah Alone – Islamic Monotheism) and Al-Ihsan [i.e. to be patient in performing your duties to Allah, totally for Allah’s sake and in accordance with the Sunnah of the Prophet in a perfect manner], and giving (help) to kith and kin (i.e. all that Allah has ordered you to give them e.g., wealth, visiting, looking after them, or any other kind of help, etc.): and forbids Al-Fahsha (i.e. all evil deeds, e.g. illegal sexual acts, disobedience of parents, polytheism, to tell lies, to give false witness, to kill a life without right, etc.), and Al-Munkar (i.e all that is prohibited by Islamic law: polytheism of every kind, disbelief and every kind of evil deeds, etc.), and Al-Baghy (i.e. all kinds of oppression), He admonishes you, that you may take heed. And fulfil the Covenant of Allah (Bai’a: pledge for Islam) when you have covenanted, and break not the oaths after you have confirmed them, and indeed you have appointed Allah your surety]. [Surah An-Nahl. Ayaat 90-91]

Allah commanded that justice be established with everyone, along with kindness and mercy for all, especially when it comes to family members and others whose rights must be upheld. In order to sanctify life (and physical well-being), wealth, honour, and rights, Allah forbade indecency and oppression. He also commanded the fulfilment and preservation of covenants and issued warnings against breaking them. Every Muslim is obliged to observe the commands and prohibitions (in the aforementioned verse), some of which are straightforward and evident; thus, there is neither a choice nor room for any dissent.

Allah [The Exalted] said:
وما كان لمؤمن ولا مؤمنة إذا قضى الله ورسوله أمرا أن يكون لهم الخيرة من أمرهم ومن يعص الله ورسوله فقد ضل ضلالا مبينا

It is not for a believer, man or woman when Allah and His Messenger have decreed a matter that they should have any option in their decision. And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger, he has indeed strayed in a plain error. [Surah Al-Ahzaab. Ayah 36]

Allah said:
فلا وربك لا يؤمنون حتى يحكموك فيما شجر بينهم ثم لا يجدوا في أنفسهم حرجا مما قضيت ويسلموا تسليما

But no, by your Lord, they can have no Faith, until they make you (O Muhammad ) judge in all disputes between them, and find in themselves no resistance against your decisions, and accept (them) with full submission]. [Surah An-Nisaa. Aayah 65]

Allah said:
فإن تنازعتم في شيء فردوه إلى الله والرسول

(And) if you differ in anything amongst yourselves, refer it to Allah (i.e. the Book of Allah) and His Messenger (i.e. go to the Messenger whilst he was alive and refer to his Sunnah after he has passed away]. [Surah An-Nisaa. Ayah 59]

Allah said:
وما اختلفتم فيه من شيء فحكمه إلى الله

And in whatsoever you differ, the decision thereof is with Allah (He is the ruling Judge)]. [Surah Ash-Shooraa. Ayah 10]

When this first affair is examined, you will find it to be in accordance with justice and wisdom, in harmony with the welfare of the people, and repelling corruption.

The second category consists of affairs whose origins or applications to reality are unclear, and unknown whether they are rejected or accepted by the Shariah, to be pursued or avoided. Regarding these affairs, they (i.e. the rulers, upright scholars, and experts) have been commanded to establish consultation, examine them from all angles, consider the (Shariah) criteria and regulations on which they are dependent, the goals and objectives that result from them, compare the welfare and disadvantages, and give preference to the most upright among them. Allah [The Exalted] said: [وشاورهم في الأمر – And consult them in the affairs]. [Surah Al Imran. Ayah 159]

And Allah stated about all the believers: [وأمرهم شورى بينهم – And they (conduct) their affairs by mutual consultation]. [Surah Ash-Shooraa. Ayah 38]

With regard to this affair, Allah gave more room after laying the principles and rules that are appropriate for every period and location, regardless of how circumstances change and develop. The worldly and religious affairs, as well as the affairs of the people will be rectified, and evils and harms are repelled when the fundamental principles of the Shariah are applied to judge those affairs that are of a general nature and the side issues connected to them. However, to achieve this, it is necessary to convene councils of prudent individuals who provide true counsel -individuals of sound minds, broad intellect, sound opinion, and comprehensive understanding (that is in accordance with the Qur’an and Sunnah), so that internal issues are examined one by one, research that takes into account all relevant aspects is conducted, affairs are perceived as they should be, a clear understanding of what they depend on, the means to achieving them if they are to be pursued, a clear perception of the overall and partial benefits and welfare that will result from them, a study of the best and simplest ways to acquire them, a study of the harms that needs to be repelled and tracing their causes and sources of origin, resolving them as much as possible, striving to eliminate them completely if possible, but if not possible, at least reducing and lessening their evil outcomes. Allah [The Exalted] said: [فاتقوا الله ما استطعتم – Fear Allah as much as you can]. [Surah At-Taghaabun. Ayah 16]

Regarding both internal and foreign policy, the Imaam further stated: Allah said:

وأعدوا لهم ما استطعتم من قوة ومن رباط الخيل ترهبون به عدو الله وعدوكم

And make ready against them all you can of power, including steeds of war to threaten the enemy of Allah and your enemy]. [Surah Al-Anfaal. Ayah 60]

Allah commanded (Muslim rulers) to prepare everything that is feasible in terms of power, including political and mental fortitude, industries, weaponry, and everything else that is used to bolster (Muslim forces) and terrify enemies- all activities related to military strategy, military arts, diverse weapons, forts, and defences against the evils of the foes.  Allah [The Exalted] said: [يا أيها الذين آمنوا خذوا حذركم – O you who believe! Take your precautions]. [Surah An-Nisaa. Ayah 71]

See how these teachings of the Islamic Shariah represent the only (correct course of action) and the most powerful means of implementing both internal and external policy! Muslims attain perfection and righteousness when they are guided by these fundamental principles and their subsidiary matters, (whereas) the deficiency that is anticipated and arises is owing to disregarding these affairs and not paying close attention to them.

And from Siyaasah Shar’iyyah, (we learn that) Allah guides people to establish matters of universal welfare. It is the duty of each group in society to gain in-depth knowledge of the reality of a particular aspect of this welfare, what it depends on, the avenues through which it can be achieved and perfected, and to use all reasonable efforts to deliver it as much as possible. Allah [The Exalted] said:

ولتكن منكم أمة يدعون إلى الخير ويأمرون بالمعروف وينهون عن المنكر

Let there arise out of you a group of people inviting to all that is good (Islam), enjoining Al-Ma’ruf (i.e. Islamic Monotheism and all that Islam orders one to do) and forbidding Al-Munkar (polytheism and disbelief and all that Islam has forbidden). [Surah Al Imran. Ayah 104]

Allah [The Exalted] said:
وما كان المؤمنون لينفروا كافة فلولا نفر من كل فرقة منهم طائفة ليتفقهوا في الدين ولينذروا قومهم إذا رجعوا إليهم لعلهم يحذرون

And it is not (proper) for the believers to go out to fight (Jihad) all together. Of every troop of them, a party only should go forth, that they (who are left behind) may get instructions in (Islamic) religion, and that they may warn their people when they return to them, so that they may beware (of evil). [Surah At-Tawbah. Ayah 122]

There is no question that seeking public welfare in the manner that Allah has instructed is the reason for religious and worldly perfection, as observed by everyone who is familiar with it.

Allah said:
ادع إلى سبيل ربك بالحكمة والموعظة الحسنة وجادلهم بالتي هي أحسن

Invite (mankind, O Muhammad ) to the Way of your Lord (i.e. Islam) with wisdom (i.e. with the Divine Inspiration and the Qur’an) and fair preaching, and argue with them in a way that is better]. [Surah An-Nahl. Ayah 125]

This involves preaching to Muslims who have violated certain aspects of the religion, as well as preaching to nonbelievers. Muslims are exhorted to perfect their religion, while unbelievers are called to accept Islam as the only way to rectification for humanity. This call should be based on wisdom, which is to adopt the approach that is most effective for achieving good, perfecting it, and eliminating or reducing evil in the context of time, location, people, and circumstances. [Footnote b]

Preaching should also be carried out with fine admonition, and this admonition consists of an explanation and a clarification of what is good and bad, as well as highlighting the advantages of the good outcomes in this life and the next. Because of its inherent goodness as well as its pathways that are marked by kindness, leniency, forbearance, patience, etc., Allah described this preaching as a good admonition. Additionally, if an argument is necessary to persuade someone, it should be presented in the best manner possible. The arguer should appeal for the truth, demonstrate its beauty and the evil that results from its opposite, and address any doubts raised by the opponent. This should be done with polite words and excellent manners, not with force, harshness, callousness, or verbal abuse because those things can cause great harm. Allah said:

فبما رحمة من الله لنت لهم ولو كنت فظا غليظ القلب لانفضوا من حولك فاعف عنهم

And by the Mercy of Allah, you dealt with them gently. And had you been severe and harsh-hearted, they would have broken away from about you; so overlook (their faults)]. [Surah Aal Imran Aayah 159] [Footnote c] [(1)] [End of quote]

Believer’s Bahaviour Towards Muslim Rulers – [Supplicates For Them….]

This path, as simply outlined by Imaam As-Sadi, has nothing to do with the path of so-called religious clerics who participate in current political systems because their orientation is nothing more than the tail-ends of the Ikhwaanees (the Muslim Brotherhood Sect). Click here to read:

The information in the links above will make it abundantly evident that the infiltrators do everything they can to hide within Salafiyyah, but they are constantly discovered, rebuted, and banished by the proactive Salafi Scholars and Students of Knowledge. As for declaring infiltrators and political activists as heretics or apostates, we once again demand that the cretins reveal the names of persons as well as the verdicts issued against them because the Salafi Scholars do not issue this judgement except based on sound principles.

Finally, the notion that the US should covertly fund the so-called Madkhalists as a group is ridiculous; instead, the US should utilise those resources to provide food and shelter for its homeless population as well as drug rehabilitation for addicts. Truth is preserved till the end of time, thus it has never needed the money of a ruler, Muslim or not. If the believers uphold Tawheed, and obey Allah and His Messenger, they will undoubtedly triumph in every era. Allah said:

Allah has promised those among you who believe, and do righteous good deeds, that He will certainly grant them succession to (the present rulers) in the earth, as He granted it to those before them, and that He will grant them the authority to practise their religion, that which He has chosen for them (i.e. Islam). And He will surely give them in exchange a safe security after their fear (provided) they (believers) worship Me and do not associate anything (in worship) with Me. But whoever disbelieved after this, they are the Fasiqun (rebellious, disobedient to Allah). [Surah An-Nur. Ayah 55]

The Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said, “There will not cease to be a group amongst my Ummah upon the truth; neither will they be harmed by those who betray them nor those who oppose them until the command of Allah arrives [i.e. the day of judgement]”. [Bukhaari]

Footnote a: What is Siyaasah: It refers to the regulation of civic affairs and has control over both the behaviour of the person and the entire society. It involves Islamic jurisprudence, which helps the rulers gain knowledge and comprehension of the Shariah laws and principles pertaining to managing the business of the state and its structures. [15] A Brief Look at Pseudo Researchers in Salafiyyah: [Examination of a Fabricated Quietist Faction Within Salafiyyah Called Mad’khalism]

Ayah 135]

The deceivers at Wikipedia stated: “Relations with governments of countries which are Muslim but not Arab have not always been as smooth. Both Madkhali brothers actively encouraged Muslims inside and outside of Indonesia to join the armed Maluku sectarian conflict which continued from the late 1990s until the early 2000s. In the year 2000, Muhammad al-Madkhali went so far as to declare the prohibition of jihad by then Indonesian President Abdurrahman Wahid, himself an internationally recognized Islamic scholar, as being contrary to sharia law”.

Second, the deceivers have not named those non-Arab Muslim governments that have a negative relationship with the so-called Mad’khalists! Third, what was the dispute between the Indonesian government and the so-called Mad’khalists?! Who are the Mad’khali brothers and what specifically did they say to actively push Muslims inside and outside of Indonesia to engage in a violent sectarian conflict? Who were the specific individuals involved, and what were their views and remarks, so that everything is understood in its proper context? What was that precise Muhammad al-Mad’khali’s declaration, and why did he forbid Jihad in Indonesia?! The deceivers have not provided any detail even though Al-Allaamah Rabee’s Fataawaa are well-known. In addition the Salafiyyoon are well-known and distinct from Ikhwaan al-Muslimeen (The Muslim Brotherhood Sect), Hizbiyyoon (Illegal Partisans), and Takfeeris (ISIS, Al-Qaeda, Quutibies, Suroorees, and their ilk) in these countries; thus, anyone attempting to use the fictitious Mad’khali label to criticise Salafiyyoon must provide specific details. Dr. Shaikh Abu Iyaad [may Allah preserve him] demonstrates why it is very important to clarify and make this distinction. He said, “Salafis are the target of sectarian bias and bigotry for many factions, from them the Raafidah, Soofiyyah, Kharijites and Takfiris, the blind-followers of the madhaahib, Secularists, Modernists, and many others. As such there is a lot of propaganda in the field which is unfortunately entered into what is claimed to be “objective research”. To make matters more confusing is the presence of numerous orientations falsely ascribing to Salafiyyah despite their deviations from it in their foundations and methodologies. Many of the takfiri, and Khariji groups make this false ascription. This adds another layer of confusion to anyone wanting to research and understand Salafiyyah and leads to Salafis being wrongly attributed to the iniquities of the Takfiris and Kharijites. In light of all of these realities, this website aims to provide relevant information and critical evaluation and analysis of the various views and opinions that are being scattered in books, journals, blogs, websites, audios, and videos in relation to “Salafis” and “Salafiyyah”. http://www.salafis.com/index.cfm

Fourth, even if a writer explicitly identified and defined a group and then asserted that it supported or disagreed with a specific government without providing any additional information, their argument would still be rejected; therefore, what credibility is left for a writer whose claims are based on illusions that his or her criticism is directed at a group called Mad’khalists (i.e. so-called Mad’khalists) or an individual who founded the Mad’khalist thought, in addition to the fact that such a writer is either uninformed or frantically seeking to damage the reputation of Al-Allaamah Rabee Bin Haadi Al-Mad’khali [may Allah protect him], who refuted and exposed all those who seek to undermine Salafiyyah? Indeed, full details must be provided and statements examined for their contexts, otherwise, ambiguities, doubts, and a mixture of truth and falsehood would prevail, or the reader is left in one of the following situations: the lack of certainty in comprehending the reality of those statements, positions, and circumstances, the lack of wholesome comprehension, comprehending in a way contrary to its true reality, believing that he comprehends while being unaware of something else that should make one realise that he is mistaken, or, one assume that he is well-informed, even though he has overlooked information that contradicts what he believes to be true, or he bases his understanding on ambiguity, even though something else was present that is very clear and contradicts his understanding, but he remains in a state of speculation and misguidance, either due to being unaware or duped by the cretins, damn liars, and pseudo-researchers at Wikipedia and elsewhere.

Only dishonest and pseudo-researchers, as well as their comrades among ideologies, demagogues, and rabble-rousers, hide their identify or refuse to give specifics out of fear of being challenged, so they transmit ambiguities and leave the reader to guess. “Saasai Wahud Dega, Wai Yaa Khana khell – the seducer has not spoken the truth, but he has ruined the thoughts,” our mothers [may Allah have mercy upon them] used to say in the Wollof language. As a result, you will discover that sometimes pseudo-writers and researchers utilise sophistry or big words to conceal the fact that they are unskilled or emotionally unstable in their study of the subject matter. Research in matters pertaining to religion and creed demands fear of Allah, honesty, and detailed proofs rather than simply “Abdullah went to Serekunda and returned to Bakoteh” and what transpired in between is kept secret from the investigators, despite the fact that they want to hold him responsible for a something based on assumptions, conflicting witnesses, mistaken identities, rumours, etc. Al-Allaamah Abdur Rahmaan Bin Yahyah Al-Mu’allimee [may Allah have mercy upon him] stated: “To oppose desires for the sake of the truth -in affairs of knowledge and creed- can indeed be difficult to accomplish, therefore it requires (sincere) research and contemplation. And in this regard, one is in need of asking the scholars and benefiting from them, adhering to fear of Allaah, seeking the Tawfeeq of Allaah and guidance”. https://salaficentre.com/2021/12/29/some-reasons-behind-persistence-upon-error/

Imaam Ibnul Qayyim [may Allah have mercy upon him] said, “It is incumbent upon you to provide details and differentiation because unrestricted and general (statements) without clarity have corrupted this existence (i.e. the world) and misguided the intellects and viewpoints (of the people) in every era”. Al-Allaamah Saalih Al-Fawzaan [may Allah preserve him] commented as follows, “There has to be a thorough explanation. The person who is not skilled at providing information should remain silent because his discourse provides no benefit. And every time an error occurs, it is caused by a lack of a clear explanation of truth and falsehood. There must be a thorough explanation and distinction, with no confusion. Indeed, an opponent’s speech may contain both truth and falsehood, therefore it is not deemed entirely false or true, however, there must be a distinction between its truth and falsehood. All of it is neither rejected nor accepted; rather, a distinction is established between the truth and what is correct and the falsehood and error in it. And if you are not skilled at providing details, you should not engage in this field”. [An Excerpt from At-Ta’leeqaat Al-Mukhtasar Alaa Al-Qaseedah an-Nooniyyah. 1/216. Slightly paraphrased]

[14] A Brief Look at Pseudo Researchers in Salafiyyah: [Examination of a Fabricated Quietist Faction Within Salafiyyah Called Mad’khalism]

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Samura Bin Jundub [may Allah be pleased with him] said: The Prophet [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] said, “I saw (in a dream), two men came to me.” Then the Prophet narrated the story (saying), “They said, ‘The person, the one whose cheek you saw being torn away (from the mouth to the ear) was a liar and used to tell lies and the people would report those lies on his authority till they spread all over the world. So he will be punished like that till the Day of Resurrection”. [(1)]

The liars at Wikipedia stated: A cornerstone of Madkhalist discourse is unquestioning loyalty to governments in public, even those that use extreme and unjustified violence against their subjects. Unlike other Islamist groups which often oppose totalitarian, mostly secular governments in the Middle East, the Madkhalist movement is openly supportive of such regimes. Madkhalists argue that the governments of Arab countries are not to be revolted even if they are oppressive. They hold that God has given the highest Muslim authority this right due to the 59th Quranic verse in Surah of the Women translated: “Oh those who believe, obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those who have authority amongst you”. And also due to some other prophetic traditions; anyone who rejects their view is labelled as a member of the Khawarij, a Muslim sect. [End of quote]

Response: First of all, as we have repeatedly established in this series, there is no such thing as a “Mad’khalist Movement or Strain” within Salafiyyah, rather, this term was concocted by those who want to vilify Al-Allaamah Rabee Bin Haadi Al-Mad’khali [may Allah protect him] because he rebutted and exposed those figureheads of Bidah who attempted to undermine or falsify the sound Salafi Methodology. The damn liars at Wikipedia make up yet another lie about the Salafiyyoon, claiming that they show unwavering loyalty to governments in public. However, the Qur’an and the Sunnah command Muslims to obey Muslim rulers when they give good orders and they are not obeyed in sin and transgression, but revolt is not allowed even when they are tyrants. Allah [The Exalted] said:

Verily! Allah commands that you should render back the trusts to those, to whom they are due; and that when you judge between men, you judge with justice. Verily, how excellent is the teaching that He (Allah) gives you! Truly, Allah is Ever All-Hearer and All-Seer. O you who believe! Obey Allah and obey the Messenger (Muhammad), and those of you (Muslims) who are in authority. (And) if you differ in anything amongst yourselves, refer it to Allah and His Messenger, if you believe in Allah and in the Last Day. That is better and more suitable for final determination. [Surah An-Nisaa. Ayaat 58-59]

Imam Muhammad Ibn Saalih al-Uthaymeen [may Allah have mercy upon him] said, “The first verse, according to the scholars, was revealed in relation to the rulers; it commands them to return trusts to those to whom they are due and to judge justly between the people. The second verse was revealed in reference to those who are under the ruler’s authority, including the armies and others, that it is obligated to them to obey the rulers who uphold justice in their distributions, rulings, military campaigns, and other matters, with the exception of times when they give one orders to disobey Allah, as there cannot be obedience to the creation in disobedience Allah. And if they disagree on anything, they should refer back to Allah’s Book and His Messenger’s Sunnah. If the rulers fail to do this, then they will only be obeyed in accordance with obeying Allah and His Messenger, and their rights will be fulfilled in accordance with what Allah and His Messenger instructed, with the result that they will be supported in righteousness and piety but not in sin and transgression. [(2)]

Indeed, absolute loyalty is solely for Allah and His Messenger; it is not given to any ruler or member of his subjects, regardless of whether they are righteous or immoral. It is not considered disobedience to Allah to obey a harsh or repressive ruler in an affair that is not tantamount to disobedience to Allah and His Messenger, alongside the fact that it is prohibited to revolt against such a ruler. The liars and their ilk will not listen, even if this is repeated a billion times unless Allah wishes to guide them. Read here: https://abukhadeejah.com/the-tyranny-of-the-rulers-a-reason-for-rebellion/

The liars stated: “Unlike other Islamist groups which often oppose totalitarian, mostly secular governments in the Middle East, the Madkhalist movement is openly supportive of such regimes. Madkhalists argue that the governments of Arab countries are not to be revolted even if they are oppressive”. [End of quote]

Response: The issue with the liars is that they don’t want Al-Allaamah Rabee Bin Haadi al-Mad’khali and the other Salafi Scholars to direct the populace in this matter in the right direction. However, the truth must be propagated since they want it to be suppressed so they can continue spreading their deception unhindered. Allah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] said, “Listening to and obeying the leader is an obligation upon a Muslim, whether he likes it or dislikes it, as long as he is not commanded to disobey Allah. If he is commanded to disobey, then there is no listening or obedience”. [(3)]

Because the liars do not want to listen to the Salafiyyoon when they transmit these authentic Prophetic reports, they accuse us of supporting tyranny, as if they’ve heard us say that any wrong perpetrated against citizens is lawful and should be commended. Is the above narration a forgery by the so-called Mad’khalists or an authentic Prophetic report?! Muslim governments, whether Arab or not, are not to be overthrown. However, despite the abundant evidence against revolt, the liars assert that in contrast to other Islamist groups, the Mad’khalists (i.e., so-called Mad’khalists) support tyranny.

Secondly, the Salafiyyoon do not in any way, shape, or form promote secularism. Read this: https://salaficentre.com/2022/08/12/i-consider-myself-a-secular-muslim-statement-of-damn-fools/

Tthe liars shot themselves in the foot by stating: “They hold that God has given the highest Muslim authority this right due to the 59th Quranic verse in Surah of the Women translated: “Oh those who believe, obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those who have authority amongst you”. And also due to some other prophetic traditions; anyone who rejects their view is labeled as a member of the Khawarij, a Muslim sect”. [End of quote]

This Ayah is directed at all Muslims and discusses the fact that, in agreement with what we have already established, Muslim rulers are only to be obeyed when doing so does not amount to disobedience to Allah and His Messenger, and revolt is not permitted when such rulers are oppressive. The liars stated: “And also due to some other prophetic traditions; anyone who rejects their view is labeled as a member of the Khawarij, a Muslim sect”. Read on this link: https://www.kharijites.com/kj/

Indeed, there is nothing to say after presenting the above proofs other than to ask Allah to guide the liars and pseudo-researchers at Wikipedia and elsewhere, or, if they persist, to disfigure their tongues for defaming the Salafi Scholars.

[(3)] Al-Bukhari 2955

Our Teacher, Khateeb or Masjid Committee is Balanced – neither mentions names of Ahlul Bidah nor Details Issues of Methodology to Common People!

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Al-Allaamah Rabee Bin Haadi Al-Madkhali [may Allah preserve him] was asked, “What do you say about an individual who advises people not to listen to refutations, and when asked why he took this stance, he answered, ‘The person who asked me about this was a common person, and he is unable to recite the Quran properly’. What is your comment on this? May Allah bless you”.

Answer: If he is a layman, he must be taught the Islamic creed and warned against Ahlul bidah. Because the majority of ordinary people have become supporters of the people of bidah these days, it is necessary to warn them against (the people of bidah). Say to him, “So and so is on such and such bidah, and you will be harmed if you listen to him.” This is done so that they will not read (his books), listen to his audio tapes, and will be cautious of his statements. This layman needs someone to caution him and remind him of the principle, “This knowledge is religion so look at whom you take your religion from”. During these times, the common people are targeted by the people of bidah, who will tell you, “Do not let them read the books of refutations.” No. No. This will expose them (the people) to destruction. (1)

Al-Allaamah Rabee Bin Haadi Al-Mad’khali [may Allah preserve him] was asked, “Is it permitted for us as students of knowledge to be silent about the Mubtadi’ah and to nurture the youth and students on the Salafi path without mentioning the names of the Mubtadi’ah?”

Answer: By Allah, if necessary, the Mubtadi’ah are to be mentioned by their characteristics as well as their names. If so and so has put himself forward for leadership, leading this Ummah and the youth to falsehood, he is to be mentioned by name. If there is a necessity, he must be mentioned by name. In this regard, one of the Salafis in Egypt used to teach, and he would just mention generalities (general descriptions without mentioning names), and the people did not understand these generalities. Following that, he began to openly mention the names of the groups and individuals, so they said, “O Shaykh! Why did you not teach us like this in the beginning?” He said, “I delivered many lessons to you, and I would say this and that (i.e. general descriptions without names)”. They said, “By Allah! We did not understand.” (2)

Al-Allaamah Saaleh Al-Fawzaan [may Allah preserve him] said:

The principle here is about warning against mistakes and deviance after identifying them as such. If the affair necessitates making known the name of an individual among the obstinate opponents so that beguilement does not occur through them, particularly those individuals with deviated views or deviation in behaviour and methodology, and they are well known among the people and a good opinion is held about them, there is no harm in mentioning them by their names and their methodology warned against. The scholars carry out research in the science of Jarh Wat-Tadeel and then mention the narrators and the criticism directed against them. This is not done for the sake of personal (criticism), but rather to advise the Ummah in case they come across affairs from these individuals that are harmful to the Religion or lies against the Messenger [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him]. Therefore, this principle is first and foremost about warning against mistakes. But the person who made such a mistake should not be named if doing so would either do more harm or if there is no benefit in doing so.

If the matter requires that his name be made known to warn the people about his methodology, this is an act of sincere devotion to Allah in worship, an act of sincere devotion to Allah’s Book, an act of sincere devotion to Allah’s Messenger (by following his Sunnah), and an act of sincere advice to Muslim leaders and their common folk, especially if he (the one warned against) is active among the people and they have a positive view of him and buy his books and audio tapes. Therefore, there has to be clarification and warning because silence will be harmful to people. His affair has to be unveiled, however, it must be done as an act of sincere devotion to Allah in worship, an act of sincere devotion to Allah’s Book, an act of sincere devotion to Allah’s Messenger (by following his Sunnah), and an act of sincere advice to Muslim leaders and their common folk, and not for defamation or to satisfy one’s desires. [13] A Brief Look at Pseudo Researchers in Salafiyyah: [Examination of a Fabricated Quietist Faction Within Salafiyyah Called Mad’khalism]

The cretins stated: “Madkhalism is often compared to Wahhabism, sharing a number of tenets with the wider movement. Media analysts have warned against generalizing such Islamists movements despite their differences, however. Madkhali has borrowed heavily from elder Salafist scholar Muhammad Nasiruddin al-Albani; Madkhali adopted more extreme positions than Albani in his teaching according to Qutbi clerics, (I) however, and Madkhalists were dismayed when Albani praised clerics Safar Al-Hawali and Salman al-Ouda”. [End of quote]

First of all, there is no such thing as “Mad’khalism, (II) let alone another so-called movement compared to it called Wahhabism, (III) as we have consistently demonstrated in this series. Indeed, similar to how Al-Allaamah Rabee Bin Haadi al-Mad’khali’s opponents concocted the term “Mad’khalism” to express their disapproval of him for rebutting their misguided figureheads, opponents of Imaam Muhammad Ibn Abdil Wahhaab concocted the term “Wahhabism” to express their disapproval of him for urging his generation to stop worshipping the dead in the graves and devote all acts of worship to Allah alone. Neither has Al-Allaamah Rabee started a movement nor did Imaam Muhammad Ibn Abdil Wahhaab, rather, they both called for adherence to the Qur’an and the authentic Sunnah as it was understood and practiced by the companions of the Prophet [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him]. As a result, those who know the truth do not give any consideration to what analysts have to say about this affair because the vast majority of them are either demagogues, ideologues, or pseudo-researchers.

It is true that groups that ascribe to Islam must be distinguished, however, this task can only be accomplished by someone who is honest as well as informed about what the Qur’an and Sunnah have ordained in terms of beliefs and methodology, as well as the path of the Prophet’s companions; then he can determine which groups, parties, or sects have diverged from Aqeedah and methodology of the Prophet’s companions. It is not enough to only know differences while being unaware of the one and only correct path among those differences. Allah [The Exalted] said: [ وَكَذَٰلِكَ نُفَصِّلُ الْآيَاتِ وَلِتَسْتَبِينَ سَبِيلُ الْمُجْرِمِينَ – And thus do We explain the signs (to you O Muḥammad) in detail, and so that the way of the criminals may become evident (to you)] [Surah Al-An’aam. Aayah 55] (a)

Imaam Ibnul Qayyim [may Allaah have mercy upon him] said: ‘Those who know Allah, His Book, and His Religion are acquainted with the paths of believers and criminals; the two paths are clearly visible to them, just as a path heading to its destination and a path leading to destruction is made visible. They are the most knowledgeable among the creation–the ones who benefit (the people) the most, provide the most valuable advice, and are evidence of upright guidance. This is why the Sahaabah have excelled over all others who will come after them till the Day of Judgement, because they were raised on the path of misguidance, shirk, and routes leading to destruction, and they were well aware of them. Then the Messenger [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] came to them and guided them out of darkness into perfect light–from shirk (polytheism) to Tawheed (true Islamic Monotheism); from ignorance to knowledge, misguidance into guidance, injustice into justice, confusion and blindness into guidance and clear-sightedness. They had the most in-depth understanding of the path. As for those who came after the Sahaabah, among them, is one who was raised in Islam yet does not know what is opposed to it. As a result, some of the details of the believers’ and criminals’ paths became confusing to him, because confusion occurs due to the weakness of one’s knowledge about both or one of them. In this subject, there are four types of people.

The first group is those who have a thorough understanding of both the criminal and believer paths, both in terms of knowledge and action. Among the creation, they are the most knowledgeable. The second group is those who resemble animals and are blind to both paths. They encounter the criminal’s path and follow it. The third group is those who are interested in learning about the believers’ path rather than its antithesis. He just has a general understanding of (the criminals’ path) and only understands it in relation to how it differs from (the believers’ path), and he maintains that everything that differs from the believers’ path is incorrect, even though he doesn’t get a full explanation of that. Instead, he tends to ignore information that runs counter to the method of the believers and does not spend time trying to understand or recognise its falsity. The fourth group knows the path of evil, bidah, and kufr, as well as the path of believers in general. This is the situation of many people who are interested in the beliefs of earlier nations and the people of bidah (proponents of religious innovation). They are acquainted with (these affairs) in detail, but not with what the Messenger [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] conveyed; rather they are acquainted with it in general even though they may know some of its affairs in detail. [(b)]

Indeed, many of those who conduct research on Salafiyyah do not know what really opposes it, and as a result, some of the details related to the Salafi path and the path of the false claimants to Salafiyyah are confusing to them due to a lack of detailed knowledge about both or one of them. Furthermore, even if they know some of the deviated sects in detail, they either miss or misunderstand the guidance regarding this specific subject matter as conveyed in the Qur’an, the authentic Sunnah, and the understanding of the Messenger’s companions, so they either reach the wrong conclusions or fail to accurately describe every group.

The cretins also mentioned the term Islamist, which according to many Western ideologues, demagogues, rabble-rousers, and writers, is “a person who believes strongly in Islam, especially one who believes that Islam should influence political systems, an advocate or supporter of Islamic militancy or fundamentalism, radical Islamists”. Indeed, this definition contains both truth and falsehood, therefore let us examine the affair briefly. https://salaficentre.com/2022/12/06/islamist-and-islamic-fundamentalism-according-to-their-own-definitions/

The cretins stated: “Madkhali has borrowed heavily from elder Salafist scholar Muhammad Nasiruddin al-Albani; Madkhali adopted more extreme positions than Albani in his teaching according to Qutbi clerics, however, and Madkhalists were dismayed when Albani praised clerics Safar Al-Hawali and Salman al-Ouda”. [End of quote]

This is yet another desperate attempt by the damn liars to portray Al-Allaamah Rabee Bin Haadi Al-Mad’khali [may Allah preserve him] and Imaam al-Albaanee [may Allah have mercy upon him] as two people who share certain similarities while propagating the myth that Al-Allaamah Rabee is an extremist. However, read what Imaam al-Albani had to say about Al-Allaamah Rabee Bin Haadi Al-Mad’khali’s refutations of the Qutubies and others. https://www.themadkhalis.com/md/articles/iosjk-imaam-al-albani-to-shaykh-rabee-everything-with-which-you-refuted-qutb-for-is-correct-and-true.cfm

The cretins commit yet another fraud in their statement regarding Imaam Al-Albaani’s praise for Safar and Salmaan because, in the first place, scholars praise someone else based on what is apparent, however, this does not imply that the person who received the praise is worthy of the praise if there is evidence from another scholar to prove that this person is a proponent of misguidance. This is why Imaam Al-Albaanee [may Allah have mercy upon him] delivered his final verdict when the reality of these people became more apparent to him. So, when the Imaam was asked about the book “Dhahiratul-Irjaa Fil Fikr al-Islami” authored by misguided political activist Safar Al-Hawali, and in this book, Takfir is issued against Muslims for committing certain sins, the Imaam responded as follows, “I gave my viewpoint on a matter about thirty or so years ago when I used to be in the [Islamic] University (of Madinah) and I was asked in a gathering about my opinion on Jamaa’at ut-Tabligh. So I said on that day, ‘They are the Sufis of this era’. And now it has occurred to me that I should say about this Jamaa’ah who have emerged in the present times and who have opposed the Salaf, I say here, in accordance with the statement of al-Hafidh adh-Dhahabi: They have opposed the Salaf in much of the issues of manhaj, and it is befitting that I label them the Khawarij of the era. And this resembles their emergence at the current time – in which we read their statements – because they, in reality, their words take the direction and objective of that of the Khawarij in performing takfir of the one who commits major sins. And perhaps I should say, this is either due to ignorance on their behalf or due to a devised plot!! And I say this in light of [the statement of Allah], “Let not the hatred of a people make you depart from justice. Be just and fair and that is closer to taqwa”. I do not know whether they say that every major sin takes one outside the fold of Islaam! However, they always revolve around certain major sins but remain silent or just pass by other major sins! And for this reason, I do not see that we should make this label absolute and that we should say, ‘They are Khawarj’, except for certain aspects. And this is the justice that we have been ordered to abide by…” [Cassette: The Surooriyyah are the Khawarij of the Era, end of the first side]

[12] A Brief Look at Pseudo Researchers in Salafiyyah: [Examination of a Fabricated Quietist Faction Within Salafiyyah Called Mad’khalism]

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Imam Fudayl Ibn Iyaad [may Allah have mercy upon him] said, “If I had one supplication to be answered, I will not make it for none but the ruler because if the ruler is righteous, it will lead to the righteousness of the country and the people”. [Siyar A’laam An-Nubalaa 8/434]

The cretins stated: “As of early 2019, Madkhalists continue to be supported by the Saudi government and have found common cause with Libyan Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, who has been described as “Libya’s most potent warlord”, during the Second Libyan Civil War. Madkhalis have often found themselves supporting opposing political factions in Libya. This is due to the apparently contradictory fatwas issued by Rabee al-Madkhali, Muhammad bin Hadi al-Madkhali, and other Salafi scholars. One explanation for these different fatawa is that the Madkhalis will ally with whatever political faction gains more authority due to the Salafi principle of obeying the highest Muslim authority”. [End of quote]

First of all, as we have repeatedly established in this series, there is no such thing as a “Mad’khalist Movement or Strain” within Salafiyyah, rather, this term was concocted by those who want to vilify Al-Allaamah Rabee Bin Haadi Al-Mad’khali [may Allah protect him] because he rebutted and exposed those figureheads who attempted to undermine or falsify the sound Salafi Methodology. Second, a Salafi’s relationship with the Saudi government or any other Muslim government is solely dictated by the Qur’an and the authentic Sunnah as it was understood and practiced by the Prophet’s companions. You must thus familiarise yourself with this principle in the following articles and may Allah bless Shaikh Abu Khadeejah and Shaikh Abu Iyaad for these beneficial clarifications.

[Lesson 11] The Correct Methodology of Advising the Muslim Rulers – Beneficial Answers to Questions Regarding The Innovated Methodologies – Abu Khadeejah ‘Abdul-Wāhid

Believer’s Bahaviour Towards Muslim Rulers – [Supplicates For Them….]

The cretins stated, “The Madkhalists (i.e. so-called Madkhalists) have found a common cause with Libyan Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, who has been described as “Libya’s most potent warlord”, during the Second Libyan Civil War”. [End of quote]

The damn liars either use confusing statements to keep people guessing, conceal the truth, or blend truth with untruth; so, we must reveal the truth behind Al-Allaamah Rabee’s advice to Libya’s Salafiyyoon. The Shaikh [may Allah preserve him] stated:

باسم الله، والحمد لله، والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم،

To proceed: I enjoin myself and the Muslims in general and the Salafis in particular, in Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Libya, Morocco, Algeria, India, Pakistan, and other Muslim countries to fear Allah [The Mighty and Majestic] in secret and in public, and to adhere to the path and methodology of the Messenger [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] based on the understanding of the (pious) predecessors of the Ummah. And I advise all the Salafis to be united (in faith) and forbearing (forgiving, tolerant) among themselves, and to put aside (blameworthy) differing and stay away from the causes of (blameworthy) disagreement, splitting, and dissension, and to leave everything that leads to them; for indeed, (blameworthy) differing weakens the Salafi ranks and is a cause of destruction and ruin of the Salafi call. Allah [The Exalted] says: [وَاعْتَصِمُوا بِحَبْلِ اللَّهِ جَمِيعًا وَلَا تَفَرَّقُوا – And hold firmly, all of you together, to the Rope of Allah (i.e. the Quran and the Sunnah), and do not be divided among yourselves (like the Jews and Christians divided into divergent sects). [Surah Al-Imran. Ayah 103] [Tafsir Al-Baghawi]

So, (in this Ayah) Allah commanded that we all hold on firmly (to the Qur’an and Sunnah) and then mentioned that there should be no division. It is incumbent on all Salafis to fear Allah [The Mighty and Majestic] and abandon all differences and their causes, come together, and be under one footing (in creed and methodology based on the Qur’an and Sunnah, as understood and practiced by the Prophet’s companions). Allah [The Mighty and Majestic] says: [وَلَا تَنَازَعُوا فَتَفْشَلُوا وَتَذْهَبَ رِيحُكُمْ – And do not dispute (with one another) lest you lose courage and your strength depart]. [Surah Al-An’faal. Ayah 46]

Dispute leads to a loss of courage and the disappearance of strength. It is incumbent upon the Salafis – Shaikhs, students of knowledge, and the youth – to call to the path of Allah based on the understanding of the (pious) predecessors of the Ummah. It is incumbent upon the Salafis in Libya to support the religion ordained by Allah [The Exalted] and protect it against “the Muslim Brotherhood (Sect)” and others because “the Muslim Brotherhood (Sect)” is the most dangerous sect against Islam since the establishment of the call of the Muslim Brotherhood. [Footnote a] They are the second-most-false sect after Rawaafid (in our era), and within them (that is, under the wing of this deviant sect are the concepts of the) unity of religions, Wahadatul Wujood, and secularism. [Footnote b] In a number of nations, governments have been set up for them, and they have not implemented Islamic law, which they have been humming about since the beginning of their call, and excommunicating leaders who do not rule by it (i.e., Islamic law). [Footnote c]

The individual known as Sadiq Al-Gharyaanee has threatened Benghazi, and he directs the youth to read Sayyid Qutb’s books, [Footnote d] which are full of great misguidance and include revilement of Allah’s Messenger Musa [peace be upon him] and some noble Sahaabah, as well as a statement (or idea) about Wahdatul Wujood, [Footnote e] and negation of Allah’s Attributes [Footnote f]

This (individual) Al-Gharyaanee threatens Benghazi (City) with war for no other reason than to fight the Salafis, (then), the Salafis must repel the aggression of the “Bankrupt Muslim Brotherhood (Sect)” and ensure that the Muslim Brotherhood (Sect) does not gain an advantage over Benghazi. The “Muslim Brotherhood Sect” portrays (themselves in the image of pure Islam or as callers to real Islam), but they are more dangerous to Salafis than Jews and Christians. ISIS was raised in Iran and is a faction of the “Muslim Brotherhood Sect.” They are the most detrimental group to the Salafis, excommunicating and killing them (i.e. killing the Salafis). [(1)] [End of quote]

This verdict of the Shaikh was as clear as the midday sun that the Salafis defend themselves against those among the Ikhwaanees and other deviant sects who desired to shed their blood, and so be it if this evil was to be repelled under the authority of Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar. What do the cretins expect from Al-Allaamah Rabee and other Salafi scholars who witnessed the year when, after the Russian Atheist Communist Army was defeated in Afghanistan, all the deviant sects attacked and murdered the Salafis for nothing other than the enmity they harboured against them for teaching Tawheed and Sunnah, repelling all that leads to deviation, sectarianism, bidah, and kufr, and all false methodologies! Read about this heart breaking incident in the link.

Brief Acquaintance With Afghani Scholar, Shaikh Jameel Ar-Rahmaan – (By Shaikh Abdullah Al-Bukhaari), and a Claim of The Astray Groups After Murdering Him – (By Shaikh Rabee Bin Haadi)

The cretins stated: “Madkhalis have often found themselves supporting opposing political factions in Libya.

Once again, the burden of proof is on the claimant. The cretins must first provide precise details and clarification of incidents during the second Libyan civil strife, as well as specific Fatawaa issued by Al-Allaamah Rabee and others so that everything is understood in the context that it actually belongs in, as well as examined so that no one can claim that this or that Fatwa contradicts each other. Similarly, claiming that such and such supported, opposed, or changed his viewpoint is insufficient; rather, full information must be presented and statements scrutinised for context; otherwise, ambiguities, doubts, and a mixture of truth and untruth will prevail.

Then the cretins stated: “One explanation for these different fatawa is that the Madkhalis will ally with whatever political faction gains more authority due to the Salafi principle of obeying the highest Muslim authority”. [End of quote]

Once again, the burden of proof is on the claimant, where are the various Fatwas and who did the so-called Mad’khalis ally with? Second, the fact that Salafis obey the greatest Muslim authority must be explained, which is that every Muslim must obey Muslim rulers in good and not in sin, however, rulers are not rebelled against if they encourage sin. The Salafis are not chaotic, unpredictable, or hasty; rather, they follow the Qur’an, the authentic Sunnah, and the Ijmaa (scholarly consensus), and they apply this principle in all eras and places. Every Muslim should be aware that rebellion against Muslim rulers is prohibited, and those who engage in rebellion should be dealt with by the authorities rather than aided in their sin, as Abdullah Bin Amr Bin Al-Aas [may Allah be pleased with him] reported that Allah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] said, “He who gives the oath of allegiance to a Caliph should give him the pledge of his hand and the sincerity of his heart (i.e. do so both outwardly as well as inwardly). He should obey him to the best of his capacity. If another man comes forward (as a claimant to the Caliphate), disputing his authority, they (the Muslims) should behead the latter. [The one who heard this hadith from Abdullah Bin Amr said: ‘I came close to him and said to him: Can you say on oath that you heard it from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)?] He (Abdullah) pointed with his hands to his ears and his heart and said, ‘My ears heard it and my mind retained it'”. [Sahih Muslim 1844]

However, if someone rebels against a Muslim ruler and is fought, but succeeds in taking control of the government’s machinery, then this is a situation in which the scholars have provided clear guidance to protect the lives and honour of the populace. Al-Haafidh Ibn Hajar [may Allah have mercy upon him] stated, “The jurists unanimously agreed that it is obligatory to obey the Sultaan who gained authority through overpowering (others until all the apparatus of government comes under his authority in a country or region) and to perform Jihaad alongside him and that obedience to him (in what is good) is better than revolting against him because it prevents bloodshed and calms the masses”. [(2)]

The Ikhwaanees and their ilk are well aware that the Salafis do not engage in rebellion or seek to establish themselves in power, but they still have the audacity to criticise the Salafis for defending themselves or taking the moral course that protects the honour and blood of a nation’s citizens during times of unrest. Indeed, following this clarification, it is very evident that the writers at Wikipedia and others of their ilk are nothing more than shameless pseudo-researchers, compulsive liars, and outright purveyors of falsehood. May Allah guide them or break their backs Aameen.

[11] A Brief Look at Pseudo Researchers in Salafiyyah: [Examination of a Fabricated Quietist Faction Within Salafiyyah Called Mad’khalism]

The pseudo researchers at Wikipedia stated: “Another break between Madkhalists and the mainstream of purist Salafism has been the reaction to the Arab Spring. While most purist Salafists initially opposed both the Libyan Civil War and the Syrian Civil War, eventually they threw their support behind the opposition in both cases due to the extreme violence on the part of the Gaddafi and Assad regimes; the Madkhalists attacked the mainstream purists for these stances”. [End of quote]

The so-called terms “Madkhalists” and “Mainstream Purist Salafists” is desperately used by many damn liars to conceal their fake analysis and categorisation in the aforementioned statement. Indeed, we have repeatedly established in this series that there is no such thing as a “Mad’khalist Movement or Strain” within Salafiyyah, let alone anything that would set them apart from so-called “Mainstream Purist Salafists”. This is a false categorisation because Salafiyyah is one and there are no factions within it, however, the fact that the cretins deliberately ignore the facts, embark on a so-called categorisation of the Salafiyyoon, invent so-called differences within Salafiyyah, and use those differences to create a stereotype from which they draw false conclusions. Their main target is Al-Allaamah Rabee Bin Haadi Al-Mad’khali because he refuted the misguided figureheads with solid evidence derived from the Qur’an and authentic Sunnah as understood and implemented by the pious predecessors. As a result, they started a smear campaign against him and concocted a group for him within Salafiyyah. Then, the misinformed Muslim believes that this is how things are, rather than how someone has chosen to portray their beliefs without facts, misrepresent realities due to a desire to propagate falsehood or due to ignorance, negligence, and dishonesty, or use mockery and nicknaming to divert people from facts and therefore deceive them. Must read:

http://www.salafis.com/index.cfm

http://www.themadkhalis.com/md/

https://abukhadeejah.com/a-response-to-western-academics-who-categorise-salafis-into-quietists-politicos-and-jihadists-and-why-this-is-a-false-categorisation/

Anyone who reviews the information offered in the above links will know -InShaaAllah- that the people they fraudulently refer to as “Mad’khalists” and seek to differentiate from so-called “Mainstream Purist Salafists” are none other than Salafiyyoon, and that this categorisation is nothing but fraudulent research and false categorisation of the highest degree.

Regarding the Arab Spring (i.e. so-called Arab Spring), the cretins claimed that while the majority of Salafists (so-called purists) initially opposed both the Libyan and Syrian Civil Wars, they eventually switched their allegiance to the opposing sides as a result of the extreme violence used by the Gaddafi and Assad regimes. They also claimed that the Madkhalists attacked the mainstream purists for taking these positions. First, we repeat once again that Salafiyyah is one creed, one methodology, and one group based on the teachings of the Qur’an, the authentic Sunnah, and understanding of the Prophet’s companion, and there are no factions or strains within it that are categorised as “Mainstream Purist Salafists” or “Mad’khalists”.

Second, the damn liars must first provide precise details and clarification of the incidents during the so-called Arab Spring, the specific individuals involved, and their stances and statements so that everything is understood in the context that it actually belongs in. This is due to the fact that the Salafiyyoon are well-known and distinct from Ikhwaan al-Muslimeen (The Muslim Brotherhood Sect), the Hizbiyyoon (Illegal Partisans), and Takfeeris (ISIS, Al-Qaeda, and its ilk) in these countries. At this point, the following statement by Dr.

Therefore, claiming that so and so supported, opposed, or changed his position is far from sufficient; rather, full details must be provided and statements examined for their contexts, otherwise, ambiguities, doubts, and a mixture of truth and falsehood would prevail, or the reader is left in one of the following situations: the lack of certainty in comprehending the reality of those statements, positions and circumstances, the lack of wholesome comprehension, comprehending in a way contrary to its true reality, believing that he comprehends while being unaware of something else that should make one realise that he is mistaken, or, one assume that he is well-informed, even though he has overlooked information that contradicts what he believe to be true, or he bases his understanding on ambiguity, even though something else was present that is very clear and contradict his understanding, but he remains in a state of speculation and misguidance, either due to being unaware or duped by the cretins, damn liars and pseudo-researchers at Wikipedia and elsewhere.

Third, the stance of the Salafi Scholars against the so-called Arab Spring is well-known. Al-Allaamah Saalih Al-Fawzaan [may Allah preserve him] was asked, “What do you think about what is now called the Arab Spring?” Response: By Allah, the spring has not brought us any remedy (or cure, or restored something good, etc.) It has not brought us any remedy, rather, (it brought) killing. It has not brought us any remedy, rather (it brought) trial. Unbelievers refer to it as (Arab Spring). The Muslims do not refer to it as “Spring”, rather, they call it trial and evil. True, it is a spring for the unbelievers since it harms Muslims and they are pleased with what harms Muslims. This makes them happy, and it is their spring. [Paraphrased and abridged. Listen here: https://youtu.be/1zHFpGCXGCI ]

This was Al-Allaamah Saalih Al-Fawzaan’s stance, so which category do the cretins, damn liars, and pseudo-researchers put him in, the so-called “Mad’khalists”, the so-called “Mainstream Purist Salafists”, or the so-called “Quietists”?! Indeed, their research is plagued with misleading statements and doubts due to their disregard for the fear of Allah and their deep-seated animosity towards the authentic Salafi Methodology. Consequently, they are unhindered in their propagation of falsehoods, distortion, and deceptive arguments. Shaikh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah [may Allah have mercy upon him] said, “When it is the case that the person who adjudicates amongst the people in disputes over wealth, blood (such as murder cases, acts of physical violence, etc.), and honour is (threatened) with entry into hell if he is not a just scholar, then what about the one who makes judgements – without knowledge and justice – on creeds, religions, fundamentals of belief, divine knowledge, and general fundamental principles relating to many subject matters, as is the case with Ahlul Bidah Wal Ahwaa [the proponents of religious innovations and followers of vain desires] who follow ambiguous doubtful matters, abandon those explicitly clear texts that the Prophets have transmitted, cling to affairs that share an ambiguous similarity through mere analogy and opinions, and then present affairs whose differences cannot be reconciled or equated. [10] A Brief Look at Pseudo Researchers in Salafiyyah: [Examination of a Fabricated Quietist Faction Within Salafiyyah Called Mad’khalism]

The deluded researchers at Wikipedia stated: “On Friday, 24 August 2012, Islamists loyal to Muhammad al-Mad’khali, demolished Sufi shrines in Zliten in Libya with construction equipment and bulldozers.[24] The act was condemned by twenty-two NGOs, in addition to the post-war Libyan government’s top religious official and UNESCO General Director Irina Bokova. The post-war Libyan government filed a complaint with the Saudi government regarding Muhammad al-Mad’khali, who is a professor at the Islamic University of Madinah”. [End of quote]

Under the guise of academic research and well-founded criticism against an imaginary  group, movement, or strain within Salafiyyah known as Mad’khalis, the liars at Wikipedia once again show their reprehensible ignorance of the sound Islamic creed while seeking to wage war against Salafiyyah. InShaaAllah, the first issue we must address is how grave worship began in this Ummah.

Shaikh Shamsuddeen al-Afghaanee As-Salafi [may Allah have mercy upon him] said: Allah [The Exalted] guided mankind through Muhammad [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] and what he conveyed of clear manifest proofs and guidance – guidance that could not be described by those skilled in description and transcended the knowledge of those with great perception. As a result of this guidance, Allah opened the eyes of the blind, the ears of the deaf, and the hearts of the heedless. After they had been in a state of disunity and hatred towards one another, having followed destructive and corrupt creeds, Allah united them on one religion- the religion of pure Islamic monotheism, Prophet Ibraaheem’s religion of pure monotheism. Through great blessing, Allah united their hearts, and they became true brothers in Islam. Following that, everything else that was worshipped ceased, including graves, trees, stones, images, and idols, and all worship was devoted to Allah (alone). Except for those whom Allah willed to remain as people of polytheism, hypocrisy, and followers of the altered and perverted old scriptures, the people followed the true Religion of Islamic monotheism, worshipped Allah alone, and established worship sincerely for Allah. The darkness of shirk (polytheism) was removed, and the banner of Tawheed (true Islamic Monotheism) was raised in the lands among Arabs and non-Arabs. Allah’s Messenger [Muhammad] returned to his Lord, while Islam was established and ruled supreme over all other ways of life and creeds. Following that, the Messenger’s rightly guided khulafaa [AbuBakr, Umar, Uthmaan, and Ali] continued on this path until the two powerful and great nations at the time- Rome and Persia- ended up in humiliation, degradation, and fear after they had been in security, and thus Caesar was restricted and besieged, and khosrau was subdued and destroyed.

When the enemies of Islam realised that they couldn’t destroy it, they implanted their disbelieving agents within Islam, pretending to be Muslims in order to foment confusion, trials, and tribulations, and spread Shirk (polytheism) by exaggerating the status of the pious people – exalting their graves through (beliefs and practices) that are not ordained by Allah. So, this Ummah faced trial through the schemes of the [atheist, heretic, and hypocrite] Abdullah Bin Saba, who claimed Uloohiyyah for Ali Ibn Abee Taalib [i.e. that Allah is to be worshipped].

The followers of Abdullah Bin As-Sabah were known as the Saaba’iyyah, and afterward as the rawaafid (shiites), ismaaliyyah (shittes), nusayriyah (shiites), and others among the Baatiniyyah. They used to worship graves and the deceased, erecting places of worship and domed (shaped) shrines on top of them. As a result, they revived the practices of Jews, Christians, and idol worshippers, and so the practices of grave worshippers in this Muslim Ummah manifested from the deeds of the rawaafid (shiites). [Footnote a]

Then the books of Greek philosophy that featured the ideas of grave and idol worship were translated into Arabic, thus many Muslims became preoccupied with these books, such as Al-Faraabee, Ibn Sinaa Al-Hanafi, Naseer At-Toosee, a proponent of disbelief and polytheism, and others who sought to play tricks on Islam in the same way that Paul did on Christianity”. [(2)]

Second, the cretins must also be informed that the Ummah was forewarned by Allah’s Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) not to adopt the heresies of the Jews and the Christians. Imam Al-Aloosee [May Allah have mercy upon him] said: “It has been reported in a hadeeth in Al-Bukhaari and Muslim that the Messenger [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] said, “Indeed, you (Muslims) will follow the way of those before you (i.e. the misguided Jews and Christians), hand span by hand span, cubit by cubit, to the extent that if they entered into the hole of a lizard, you will enter it too”. [Al-Bukhaari 1397, Muslim 4822] The Prophet [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] informed us that indeed there will be in his Ummah those who will follow the previous nations – the ignorant people amongst the people of the scriptures and other than them – hand span by hand span as has been explained in the hadeeth. There is no doubt that what he [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] informed us has occurred because indeed he is As-Saadiq Al-Masdooq [the truthful one and the one who is to be believed in everything he says] and he does not speak out of his own desires. Certainly, those who adhere to his guidance and follow that which has been established in his Sunnah are not the ones intended in this hadeeth, therefore, it has to be the case that the people who follow the footsteps of the Jews and Christians are those who substitute and change (the religion), innovate in religious affairs and distort, imitate the previous nations in their actions and deeds, such as building tombs and mosques on the graves of their righteous people- invoking them during important events, during times when they face very painful situations and other than that (similar) to what the Jews, Christians and idol worshippers used to do. [(3)]

Al-Allaamah Rabee Bin Haadi Al-Mad’khali [may Allah preserve him] said: Ibn Abbaas and Aa’isha [may Allah be pleased with him and his father] said: When the last moment of the life of Allah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] came, he started putting his Khameesah [a woollen blanket] on his face and when he felt hot and short of breath he took it off his face and said, “May Allah curse the Yahood and Nasaaraa [i.e. those amongst them who changed the pure religion of the Prophets and Messengers of Bani Israa’eel – Mussa, Eesaa, etc (peace be upon them)], for they built the places of worship at the graves of their Prophets”. The Prophet was warning (Muslims) of what those people had done. (a) They [the Prophet’s companions] understood that the Messenger was giving a warning; Aa’isha and Ibn Abbaas said, “He was warning the (Muslims) of what these people had done”. Therefore, when it is the case that the Yahood and Nasaaraa were cursed and they earned the severe wrath of Allah, even though they loved the Prophets and built places of worship on their graves, then what about those who defile the greatest religion [i.e. Islaam] with shirk by doing what those Yahood did. [(4)]

The late Mufti of Saudi Arabia Imam Abdul Azeez Bin Baaz [may Allah have mercy upon him] said: Shrines are graves and the Prophetic tradition regarding this affair is that graves are to be raised a hand span from the ground so that they are recognised as graves and not degraded. This is why in the hadeeth of Sa’d Bin Abee Waqqaas [may Allah be pleased with him], it is reported that the grave of the Prophet [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] was raised a hand span and Sa’d also gave orders that the same should be done to his grave. As for building over them, taking them as Masaajid, and building domes, this is not permissible. According to the people of knowledge, this is evil, innovation in religion, and one of the means to Shirk. And due to this, the Prophet stated in an authentic hadeeth, “The curse of Allah is upon the Jews and Christians [i.e. those Jews who deviated from the pure message of Musa and those Christians who deviated from the pure message of the Messiah] because they took the graves of their Prophets as places of worship”. And in a hadeeth in Saheeh Muslim, the Prophet [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] forbade that graves should be plastered (made into permanent structures), used as sitting places, and built over them. [(5)]

Where Was the Grave of The Prophet Initially?

Shaikh Abdul Waahid Abu Khadeejah [may Allah preserve him] stated as follows: The grave of the Prophet (salallāhu ‘alaihi wasallam) was initially outside of his Mosque in Madeenah – the fact is that his house was next door to the Mosque and that is where he was buried after his death. Later, during the time of the rule of Waleed Ibn Abdul-Malik, he commanded that the Mosque be expanded, and thus the house of the Prophet (salallāhu ‘alaihi wasallam) was included in the Mosque as it was extended. This occurred to the displeasure of the Scholars – and they hated it – from them, Sa’eed Ibn Al-Musayyib (died 94H). As for the green dome that was erected high over the grave of the Prophet (salallāhu ‘alaihi wasallam), then it was built at the end of the 6th century – it was built by one of the kings of Egypt. So whoever uses the grave of the Prophet (salallāhu ‘alaihi wasallam) in the Mosque as proof, or the presence of the green dome then, in reality, has no proof at all. That is because these constructions and affairs were initiated by people ignorant and devoid of knowledge. They had authority and the people were not able to prevent them. So they did what they did due to their claim that they were expressing their love of the Prophet (salallāhu ‘alaihi wasallam) and respect for him. This green dome at the Prophet’s Mosque in Madeenah, over his grave, was a later addition of the sixth century. It was not built or approved by the Companions or by the early scholars and well-known Imāms. [(6)]

Do the cretins want grave worship and other acts of shirk to continue in the Ummah of Muhammad [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him]? Ibn Abbaas [may Allah be pleased with him and his father] said that the Prophet [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] said, “The most hated people to Allah are three: a person who deviates from right conduct [i.e. an evil doer] in the Haram [sanctuaries of Makkah and Medeenah], a person who seeks that the traditions of the Pre-Islamic Period of Ignorance should remain in Islam and a person who seeks to shed somebody’s blood without any right”. Al-Allaamah Zaid Bin Haadi Al-Mad’khali [may Allah have mercy upon him] said, “The second major sin is committed by the person who wants the pre-Islamic traditions to remain in Islam as if he gives precedence to the pre-Islamic traditions – the evil customs that were followed during that period and the misguided deeds- over the Islamic practices, Imaan Ihsaan, their virtue and virtue of the Sunnah. He is guilty of committing a major sin, and this includes giving precedence to Bidah over (the authentic) Sunnah that guides (him) to the straight path”. [(7)]

Finally, it goes without saying that a Muslim who is aware of the serious sin of grave worship will not support or enable any means to this Shirk. Therefore, to a Muslim who is aware of Allah’s decree in this matter, no NGO or other protest is of the slightest significance. However, this does not imply that we are those who impose our own laws; rather, enjoining good and prohibiting evil must be done in accordance with one’s capacity and the authority that one is granted.

Imaam Abdul Azeez Bin Baaz [may Allah have mercy upon him] said: “Anyone of you who sees evil (i.e. what is clearly declared to be evil in Islaam), then let him stop it with his hand. If he cannot, then with his tongue; and if he cannot, then with his heart, and that is the weakest of faith”. [Reported by Muslim, Abu Dawood, Tirmidhi & others] However, stopping evil by hand must be based on ability and should not result in greater corruption or evil. A man has the right to rectify matters with his hand in his home, a manager has the authority to make changes with the hand within the organization they are responsible for, in accordance with the instructions that were given to them (i.e. the authority given to them by the state authorities), otherwise, people should not change with their hand anything they are not authorised to change. If they do make changes in matters that they have no authority over, this will result in more evil and great corruption between them and the people and between the people and the state. In this case they should stop evil with their tongue (by speaking out). They may say: ‘’O Fulaan! Fear Allah! This is not permissible; this is Haraam, or “This is obligated on you,’’ and clarify it with evidence from Shariah. [NB: In the UK, objecting to certain behaviour can be viewed as harassment or verbal abuse, therefore a Muslim should be aware of what the law allows him before he says or does anything whilst living in the West]. As for stopping evil with the hand, this should be done where one has authority, such as one’s home (i.e. within what the law allows) when dealing with those under one’s responsibility, or those authorised by the ruler, such as organisations given permission and authority to enjoin Good. They should make changes in accordance with the authority they have been given- in the way prescribed by the Shariah, without exceeding their jurisdiction. The same applies to the governor of a city. [(8)]

This is the information that the cretins do not want to hear because they have been completely misled by their invented belief in a so-called group known as the Mad’khalis, despite the fact that the worship of graves and shrines and the construction of places of worship on them are clearly forbidden in the divine texts of the Shariah. Therefore, a Muslim ruler who has been taught Tawheed and Sunnah is commended if he demolishes shrines and tombs to eradicate Shirk from a Muslim country. May Allah also facilitate him with helpers in carrying out this mission. As for the Takfeeris (ISIS, Al-Qaeda, and others), they lack understanding and guidance, then they hasten in putting an end to what they perceive as evil, coupled with their terrorism and corruption in the world. May Allah guide the khawaarij or destroy them, and likewise, may Allah guide the compulsive liars at Wikipedia or break their backs Aameen.

[9] A Brief Look at Pseudo Researchers in Salafiyyah: [Examination of a Fabricated Quietist Faction Within Salafiyyah Called Mad’khalism]

The deluded researchers Wikipedia stated: “After high-ranking members of Saudi Arabia’s religious establishment denounced the movement in general, and Saudi Grand Mufti and Permanent Committee head Abdul-Azeez ibn Abdullah Aal ash-Shaikh’s criticism of Rabee al-Madkhali specifically, the movement lost its support base within the wider Arab world. The remaining followers of Madkhali within Saudi Arabia tend to be foreign workers of Western origins, Saudis from Rabee al-Madkhali’s hometown, and Kuwaitis and Yemenis. Madkhali also retains a national network of disciples to promote his work and monitor the activities of competitor clerics, and although Madkhalists are outnumbered by followers of Society of the Revival of Islamic Heritage in Kuwait, they retain an extensive international network in the Middle East, Europe and Southeast Asia. Despite losing its audience in its country of origin, the movement had branched outward by the early 2010s, with Madkhalists gaining followers in western Kazakhstan, where the Government of Kazakhstan views them and other Islamists with suspicion. Regardless of these gains, Western analysts have still described the movement as now being relegated to a primarily European phenomenon. Analysts have estimated that Madkhalists and their allies comprise just over half of the Salafist movement in the Netherlands”. [End of quote]

Response to their statement: “After high-ranking members of Saudi Arabia’s religious establishment denounced the movement in general, and Saudi Grand Mufti and Permanent Committee head Abdul-Azeez ibn Abdullaah Aal Ash-Shaikh’s criticism of Rabee al-Madkhali specifically, the movement lost its support base within the wider Arab world”. [End of quote]

First, which high-ranking Saudi Arabian religious figures specifically condemned the fictitious Mad’khalism movement in general, and what specifically did they say about it?! What are the precise objections of Al-Allaamah Abdul Azeez Aal Shaikh [may Allah preserve him] of Al-Allaamah Rabee Bin Haadi Al-Mad’khali [may Allah preserve him], the substance of the criticism, and its unequivocal knowledge-based conclusion? Indeed, these assertion serves no purpose because it fails to establish and distinguish between truth and falsehood, and it remains as such until the cretins at Wikipedia state exactly what was said and then it is evaluated based on sound Salafi principles. (2)

Al-Allaamah Saalih al-Fawzaan [may Allah preserve him] was asked: “What is the meaning of the principle, ‘The truth is not known by way of men, rather men are known by way of the truth?'” Response: It means that we do not simply blindly follow anyone, because one may be blindly followed based on inaccuracy. It is possible that the Mujtahid is erroneous, therefore we do not take (his statement, opinion, etc.) and say, “This is the statement of such and such; this is truth because such and such is good, he is a scholar; such and such is Taqiy (i.e. one who fears Allah). We do not say this since he is not infallible and can make mistakes; thus, we know men by the truth – those who know, adhere to the proofs, and are known to be scholars. Those who are unconcerned about proofs are not scholars; they are not people of (sound) understanding and knowledge, hence their statements are never taken at face value. It is imperative that the proof is presented, so, if the evidence is established as a witness to (what he says or believes, etc.), then it is the truth; however, if he opposes the evidence, then it (i.e. his says) is rejected. If he is a Mujtahid and he is mistaken, he is rewarded (once) due to his Ijtihaad; however, if he consciously holds on to error, he has sinned. (3)

Therefore, every claim must be established and analysed based on solid Salafi principles, and only what is established based on sound knowledge-based proofs is given consideration, whether the subject matter is related to Aqeedah, acts of worship, methodology, criticism, or praise.

And regarding their view that the so-called Mad’khalis lost support in Saudi Arabia, this claim is based on delusion because the group does not exist. However, even if the majority were to reject or oppose an upright caller to Islam, that is not a measure of right and wrong; rather, the only thing taken into account is the truth. Al-Allaamah Saalih Al-Fawzaan [may Allah preserve him] said: Allah [The Most High] says:

قُلۡ هَـٰذِهِۦ سَبِيلِىٓ أَدۡعُوٓاْ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ‌ۚ عَلَىٰ بَصِيرَةٍ أَنَا۟ وَمَنِ ٱتَّبَعَنِى‌ۖ وَسُبۡحَـٰنَ ٱللَّهِ وَمَآ أَنَا۟ مِنَ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ

Say (O Muhammad): “This is my way; I invite unto Allah (i.e. to the Oneness of Allah – Islamic Monotheism) with sure knowledge, I and whosoever follows me (also must invite others to Allah i.e. to the Oneness of Allah – Islamic Monotheism) with sure knowledge. And Glorified and Exalted be Allah (above all that they associate as partners with Him). And I am not of the Mushrikun (polytheists, pagans, idolaters and disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah; those who worship others along with Allah or set up rivals or partners to Allah).”

[أَدۡعُوٓاْ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ‌ۚ – I invite unto Allah (i.e. to the Oneness of Allah – Islamic Monotheism)]. This part of the Ayah contains a notification regarding sincerity because some people call to themselves. It may be that a person propagates, and delivers lectures and sermons, but his aim is to become apparent to the people – to receive some status, be praised by the people, and that people gather and become numerous around him. If this is his aim, he is not one who calls to Allah; rather he is a caller to himself. The person who abandons Dawah has indeed abandoned a great obligation and the person who is not sincere in Dawah has indeed fallen into great danger because Dawah has to be carried out sincerely for the Sake of Allah and the aim should be to establish Allah’s Shariah – to guide and benefit the people, whether you are praised or rebuked. As for some people, when they are not praised and promoted, they abandon Dawah. This is proof that such a caller is not a caller to Allah, rather he only calls to himself. Therefore, the Muslim should be warned that his aim in dawah should be sincerity, to benefit the people, free them from Shirk and bidah, free them from those affairs that are in opposition to the Shariah, and fulfill what is obligated to him.

A great number of people around a person is not proof that such a person is virtuous, because some of the Prophets were only followed by a few people. “A Prophet will come on the day of judgement with a few followers and a Prophet will come with no followers”. [Bukhaari 5705]. So, does this mean that such a Prophet is not virtuous? No, definitely not! A person does not look at the large number of people who are present, because the Prophet [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said to Ali, “If Allaah gives guidance to a single man through you, it is better for you than possessing red camels”. [Bukhaari 3009] (4)

The Shaikh [may Allah preserve him] also stated: Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jamaa’ah are not harmed by those who oppose them. If you are with them- all praise is due to Allah, they are pleased with this because indeed they want good for the people. If you oppose them, you cannot harm them and due to this the Messenger [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him]said, “There will not cease to be a group of my Ummah who will be manifest upon the truth- not harmed by those who forsake them until the command of Allah comes to pass (i.e. the day of judgement) whilst they are (still) upon that (truth)”. The one in opposition does not harm except himself. What is given consideration is not the great numbers; rather what is given consideration is to be in agreement with the truth, even if a small number of people were upon it. And even if in some eras there is only one person (upon truth), then he is the one upon truth and he is the Jamaa’ah. The Jamaa’ah does not necessitate great numbers; rather the Jamaa’ah is what is in agreement with the truth – in agreement with the Book and the Sunnah, even if those upon it are few. However, if many come together and (upon) truth, then – all praise is due to Allaah- this is strength. But if the majority oppose it (i.e. the truth), then we side with the truth even if only a few are upon it. (5)

The liars stated: “The remaining followers of Madkhali within Saudi Arabia tend to be foreign workers of Western origins, Saudis from Rabee al-Madkhali’s hometown, and Kuwaitis and Yemenis. Madkhali also retains a national network of disciples to promote his work and monitor the activities of competitor clerics, and although Madkhalists are outnumbered by followers of the Society of the Revival of Islamic Heritage in Kuwait, they retain an extensive international network in the Middle East, Europe, and Southeast Asia”. [End of quote]

They spoke here regarding the leader, followers, clerics, and networks of the so-called Mad’khalis, and then differentiated them from Al-Ihyaa Ath-Turaath (The Revival of Islamic Heritage) in Kuwait. Indeed, by identifying Al-Ihyaa Ath-Turaath as a different group, they spoke the truth (Footnote a), but they spoke lies when they invented the Mad’khalis group. The purpose of this falsehood is to convince uninformed Muslims that there are various strains within Salafiyah, each of which pursues its own agenda in the name of Islam, and allows dubious individuals and false claimants to Salafiyyah to blend in with the Salafiyyoon in order to further their own objectives. This sinister plot has been exposed by many prominent Salafi Scholars and students of knowledge, but Al-Allaamah Rabee Bin Haadi Al-Mad’khali in particular pays special attention to it in some of his books. The Shaikh says, “Where did the Ikhwaan Al-Muslimeen and the Qutubiyyoon (Footnote b) get these ideas in this country [Saudi Arabia]? What inspired Juhaymaan’s thoughts as well as those of Abdur Rahmaan Abdul Khaaliq, Al-Haddad, Al-Maghraawi, and Abul Hasan Al-Maribi? They are all extensions of Ikhwaan Al-Muslimeen’s ideas. All of them, from Juhaymaan’s Fitna to the present, are the tail ends of Ikhwaan Al-Muslimeen’s Fitna, whose principal goal is to topple the scholars. They do, however, don a variety of garb and outward manifestations; they go by the names Al-Ikhwaan, At-Tasawwuf, and As-Salafiyyah at various times. The most dangerous one (used as cover) is the term As-Salafiyyah because they are unable to confront the Salafi Methodology with the terms At-Tab’leegh and Al-Ikhwaan, so they hide this charade with the term As-Salafiyyah and then challenge the (upright Salafi) scholars”. (6)

Al-Allaamah Rabee (may Allah preserve him) is hated by infiltrators and deviants for the reasons that are explained in the articles below by Shaikh Abu Iyaad and Shaikh Abu Khadeejah (may Allah preserve them).

The liars stated: “Despite losing its audience in its country of origin, the movement had branched outward by the early 2010s, with Madkhalists gaining followers in western Kazakhstan, where the Government of Kazakhstan views them and other Islamists with suspicion. Regardless of these gains, Western analysts have still described the movement as now being relegated to a primarily European phenomenon. Analysts have estimated that Madkhalists and their allies comprise just over half of the Salafist movement in the Netherlands”. [End of quote]

First, they concocted the Mad’khalis strain within Salafiyyah and have even gone so far as to call it a “Movement”. The reason pseudo-researchers refer to it as a movement is because one of the characteristics of movements is that they can all share some basic unique characteristics, however, things don’t just happen with one leader or in one location; instead, things may appear differently in different locations, but they share some similar values. This is not Salafiyyah because one is not judged to be a true follower of the Sunnah merely on one or a few characteristics. Al-Allaamah Rabee bin Haadi al-Mad’khali [may Allah preserve him] said: “”Every sect of ahlul bidah gathers between truth and falsehood; denies the truth that the other sect of bidah possesses and believes in the falsehood that they possess. Shaikh al-Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah [may Allaah have mercy on him] said: Allah said: [ وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمۡ ءَامِنُواْ بِمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ قَالُواْ نُؤۡمِنُ بِمَآ أُنزِلَ عَلَيۡنَا وَيَكۡفُرُونَ بِمَا وَرَآءَهُ ۥ وَهُوَ ٱلۡحَقُّ مُصَدِّقً۬ا لِّمَا مَعَهُمۡ – And when it is said to them (the Jews), “Believe in what Allah has sent down,” they say, “We believe in what was sent down to us.” And they disbelieve in that which came after it, while it is the truth confirming what is with them]. [Surah Al-Baqarah Aayah 91]

This is because they initiate an innovation in religion (i.e. beliefs, acts of worship, or methodology), combine it with what the Messengers brought, split their religion, and become sects, so there is truth and falsehood within each of them. They reject the truth of the other group and believe in the falsehood with them. This is the situation of all the people of Bidah, for there is truth and falsehood among them, thus they split their religion and became sects. Every sect, such as the Khawaarij and Shia, denies the truth of the other sect and believes in the falsehood with them. (7)

Therefore, one is not judged to be a true follower of the Sunnah merely on one or a few characteristics, as Imaam Al-Barbahaaree [may Allah have mercy upon him] also stated: “It is not permitted for a man to say, ‘So and so is a person of the sunnah’ until he knows that he combines the characteristics of the Sunnah, so it is not said of him, ‘a person of the Sunnah’ until he combines all the Sunnah”. Al-Allaamah Saalih Al-Fawzaan [may Allah preserve him] commented on the above statement of Imaam Barbahaaree saying: “Do not give a person a recommendation and praise unless it is founded on knowledge, lest people be misled by your praise of him, because he is not what (you have asserted about him). So, when his real affair and the path he follows are evident to you, his knowledge and steadfastness, you can recommend him. As for praising and giving recommendations without knowing anything about him, is a dangerous recommendation that will lead to people being deceived by this person. The characteristics of the Sunnah include creed, knowledge, and adherence to the (path of) pious predecessors; but if there is nothing in him but a single characteristic, he is not regarded to be from Ahlus Sunnah on the basis of a single characteristic or one thing, so what about the one who has nothing from that? (8)

The Messenger of Allah [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] said, “Indeed, the one who lives long amongst you will see a lot of differences, and beware of newly invented matters [in the religion] because it is misguidance. So whoever amongst you reaches that, then upon him to hold onto to my Sunnah and the Sunnah of the rightly guided khulafaa, and bite onto it with the molar teeth”. (9) Imaam Ibn Ibn Rajab [may Allah have mercy upon him] said: “In this hadeeth is the command that when splitting and differing occurs, (one must) adhere to the Sunnah of the Messenger [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] and the Sunnah of the khulafaa [AbuBakr, Umar, Uthmaan and Ali (may Allah be pleased with them)] after him. The Sunnah is a path that should be adhered to and it includes that which the rightly guided khulafaa were upon in creed, practice, and statements. This is the complete Sunnah”. (10)

Abdullah Ibn Mas’ud [may Allah be pleased with him] said: Whoever wants to adhere to a path, then let him adhere to the path of those who have passed away, for indeed the ones who are alive are not safe from trial, and they (i.e. those who have passed away) are Muhammad’s Companions. They were the best of this Ummah, the ones with the most righteous hearts, the most perfect in knowledge, and the most uncomplicated. Allah selected them to accompany His Prophet [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] and to establish His religion. Therefore, acknowledge their status, follow their footsteps, and cling as much as you can to their pattern of behaviour and attitude because they followed true guidance. (11)

This particular distinction enrages the infiltrators and pseudo-researchers since they waste their time trying to misrepresent Salafiyyah just to learn that the Mujaddidoon Salafi scholars have already refuted them. The Prophet [peace and blessings be upon him] said, “Allah will raise for this Ummah at the end of every hundred years the one who will revive its religion for it”. (12) “Allah will raise for this Ummah at the end of every hundred years” – Meaning, at the end of every hundred years when there is little knowledge of the Shariah and the authentic Prophetic Tradition, whilst ignorance and Bidah are rife; “One who will revive its religion for it”– Meaning, a scholar who is alive and well known. He will clarify the authentic Prophetic Tradition and distinguish it from Bidah. knowledge will be abundant again and its adherents will be aided, and the proponents of Bidah will be overcome and degraded. This reviver is none else but a scholar who has a sound understanding of the religious sciences that deal with acts of worship, the underlying wisdom of the religion, and the texts that deal with beliefs of the heart. (13)

The liars stated: “Regardless of these gains, Western analysts have still described the movement as now being relegated to a primarily European phenomenon. Analysts have estimated that Madkhalists and their allies comprise just over half of the Salafist movement in the Netherlands”. [End of quote]

As for those they refer to as Mad’kalis in the UK, they are referring to the Salafiyyoon, who challenge their Bidah and expose all their figureheads of Bidah- our elder teachers at Salafipublications and elsewhere. Finally, in regard to their claim that there is Mad’khalism in Kazakhstan, it is important to remember once again that no group, strain, or movement known as Mad’khalis exists within Salafiyyah anywhere on the earth, including Kazakhstan nor does Salafiyyah have different orientations. If the cretins desist, then may the curse of Allah be upon the liars!

SUPPLICATION

A Tremendous Supplication After Tashahud and Before Tasleem:

O Allah! By Your Knowledge of the unseen and by Your Power over creation, let me live if life is good for me, and let me die if death is good for me; O Allah! I ask You to grant me (the blessing of having) fear of You in private and public, and I ask You (to make me utter) a statement of truth in times of contentment and anger, and I ask You for moderation when in a state of wealth and poverty, and I ask you for blessings that never ceases, and I ask You for the coolness of my eye that never ends, and I ask You (to make me pleased) after (Your) decree; and I ask You for a life of (ease, comfort, tranquillity, etc) after death; I ask You for the delight of looking at Your Face (i.e. in the Hereafter) and yearning to meet You without any harm and misleading trials (coming upon me). O Allah! Adorn us with the adornment of Iman, and make us (from those who are) guided and guiding (others). [1]

*”O Allah! By Your Knowledge of the unseen and by Your Power over creation, let me live if life is good for me, and let me die if death is good for me”.

This requires surrendering and submitting all of one’s affairs to the Lord, asking Allah for the best outcome in every situation, and seeking that through His All-Encompassing knowledge because Allah has complete knowledge of both hidden and visible matters, and He has absolute power over everything. No one can change His judgment or prevent His decree. It is well known that a servant of Allah cannot predict the outcome of their affairs or their final destination. They are also unable to achieve good or avoid harm except with the help and ease granted by Allah. Therefore, a servant of Allah is always in need of Allah, regardless of where he may be. This is why one says in this supplication: [أَحْيِنِي مَا عَلِمْتَ الْحَيَاةَ خَيْراً لِي وَتَوَفَّنِي إِذَا عَلِمْتَ الْوَفَاةَ خَيْراً لِي – Let me live if life is good for me, and let me die if You know that death is good for me].

That’s why the Sunnah forbids against wishing for death when faced with hardships, as one may not fully understand the repercussions. The Prophet [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] said, “Let none of you wish for death. If he is righteous, he might increase his good deeds. If he is sinful, he might repent”. [Bukhaari]

*[اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ خَشْيَتَكَ فِي الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ – O Allah! I ask You to grant me (the blessing of having) fear of You in private and public].

Meaning: That I fear You in private and public- when I am with the people and when they are absent because while some fear Allah in public and when seen, the true measure of devotion lies in fearing Allah when not seen by the people. Allah praised those who fear Him in the unseen, saying: [ الَّذِينَ يَخْشَوْنَ رَبَّهُمْ بِالْغَيْبِ وَهُمْ مِنْ السَّاعَةِ مُشْفِقُونَ – Those who fear their Lord without seeing Him, while they are afraid of the Hour]. [Surah Al-Anbiyaa. Aayah 49]

Allah [The Most High] says: [ مَنْ خَشِيَ الرَّحْمَنَ بِالْغَيْبِ وَجَاءَ بِقَلْبٍ مُنِيبٍ – Who feared the Most Beneficent (Allah) in the Ghaib (unseen): (i.e. in this worldly life before seeing and meeting Him), and brought a heart turned in repentance (to Him – and absolutely free from each and every kind of polytheism)]. [Surah Qaaf. Ayah 33]

*[وَأَسْأَلُكَ كَلِمَةَ الْحَقِّ فِي الرِّضَا وَالْغَضَبِ – And I ask you (to make me utter) a statement of truth in times of contentment and anger].

Meaning: Empower me to speak the truth during moments of contentment and anger. Speaking the truth during moments of anger is a virtuous and powerful act, as anger often leads a person to utter the opposite of truth and other than justice. Indeed, Allah commends those of His servants who forgive when angered and their anger never drives them towards transgression and aggression. Allah [The Most High] says: [ وَإِذَا مَا غَضِبُوا هُمْ يَغْفِرُونَ – And when they are angry, they forgive]. [Surah Ash-Shuraa. Ayah 37]

If someone speaks only the truth when they’re angry, it shows that they have a strong faith and are in control of their soul (by the permission of Allah). In a hadeeth. the Prophet [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] said, “The strong one (i.e. the one who is more worthy to be described as a strong person) is not the one who (overcomes the people in) wrestling, rather the strong person is the one who restrains his himself when angry”.

*[وَأَسْأَلُكَ الْقَصْدَ فِي الْغِنَى وَالْفَقْرِ – And I ask You for moderation when in a state of wealth and poverty].

Meaning: Being moderate whether I’m poor or wealthy, following the balanced path set by the Shariah; neither stingy when I’m poor and fear running out of what I have; nor being extravagant and burdening myself with things I can’t handle, as Allah [The Most High] says: [ وَلاَ تَجْعَلْ يَدَكَ مَغْلُولَةً إِلَى عُنُقِكَ وَلاَ تَبْسُطْهَا كُلَّ الْبَسْطِ فَتَقْعُدَ مَلُومًا مَحْسُورًا – And let not your hand be tied (like a miser) to your neck, nor stretch it forth to its utmost reach (like a spendthrift), so that you become blameworthy and in severe poverty]- [Surah Al-Israa. Aayah 29].

And that if one is wealthy, his wealth does not lead him to extravagance and he exceeds the limits. Allah [The Most High] says: [وَالَّذِينَ إِذَا أَنفَقُوا لَمْ يُسْرِفُوا وَلَمْ يَقْتُرُوا وَكَانَ بَيْنَ ذَلِكَ قَوَامًا – And those, who, when they spend, are neither extravagant nor niggardly, but hold a medium (way) between those (extremes)]. [Surah Al-Furqaan. Ayah 67]

*[وَأَسْأَلُكَ نَعِيماً لَا يَنْفَذُ – And I ask you for blessings that never ceases]. Meaning: The blessing that never ceases is the blessing of the Hereafter, as Allah [The Most High] says: [مَا عِنْدَكُمْ يَنفَدُ وَمَا عِنْدَ اللَّهِ بَاقٍ – Whatever is with you, will be exhausted, and whatever with Allah will remain]. [Surah An-Nahl. Ayah 96] Allah says: [ إِنَّ هَذَا لَرِزْقُنَا مَا لَهُ مِنْ نَفَادٍ – (It will be said to them)! Verily, this is Our Provision which will never finish]. [Surah Saad. Ayah 54]

*[وَأَسْأَلُكَ قُرَّةَ عَيْنٍ لَا تَنْقَطِعُ -And I ask You for the coolness of my eye that will never end]. Meaning: Some blessings come to an end, while others do not. The coolness of one’s eyes in worldly things is only temporary and will eventually fade away. Moreover, this is tainted with fear and anxiety due to the hardships and pain we experience. As a result, believers do not find greater pleasure in anything of this world except in their love for Allah, their remembrance of Him, and their obedience to Him, as the Messenger said, “The coolness [pleasure or delight] of my eyes is in prayer”. Therefore, whoever finds the pleasure of his eyes in this (i.e. their love for Allah and obedience to Him), they have something that will never cease to exist in this world, in the grave, and the Hereafter.

*[وَأَسْأَلُكَ الرِّضِا بَعْدَ الْقَضَاءِ – And I ask You (to make me pleased) after (Your) decree]. Meaning: Asking Allah to grant you contentment after His decree has been fulfilled, as it would genuinely demonstrate your satisfaction with Allah’s decree.

*[وَأَسْأَلُكَ بَرْدَ الْعَيْشِ بَعْدَ الْمَوْتِ – And I ask You for a life of (ease, comfort, tranquillity etc) after death]. Meaning: This demonstrates that the true essence of a perfect life, filled with goodness and comfort, can only be experienced after death. Life before death is marred by pain and suffering. If the only pain we had to endure in this life was death itself, that would have been enough. But the reality is that life is filled with countless pains, sorrows, illnesses, the frailty of old age, and the heartache of being separated from loved ones.

*[وَأَسْأَلُكَ لَذَّةَ النَّظَرِ إِلَى وَجْهِكَ وَالشَّوْقَ إِلَى لِقَائِكَ فِي غَيْرِ ضَرَّاءَ مُضِرَّةٍ وَلَا فِتْنَةٍ مُضِلَّةٍ – And I ask You for the delight of looking at Your Face (i.e. in the Hereafter) and yearning to meet You without any harm and misleading trials (coming upon me)]. This part of the supplication brings together the best aspects of both this life and the Hereafter – the desire to meet Allah and see His Noble face in the Hereafter [May He be free from any imperfections, equals, similarities, or partners]. And since the fulfilment of this desire depends on being protected from harm in this life and being tested in one’s religious affairs, one expresses the following sentiment: [فِي غَيْرِ ضَرَّاءَ مُضِرَّةٍ وَلَا فِتْنَةٍ مُضِلَّةٍ – without any harm and misleading trials (coming upon me)].

The meeting between the believer and his lord on the day of judgment has been mentioned in many texts in the Qur’an and Sunnah. Only those who have deviated from the right path would deny it. It is the ultimate happiness for the people of Jannah and brings them the greatest joy. The Prophet [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] said: When the people of Paradise would enter Paradise, Allah [The Blessed and the Exalted] would ask, “Do you wish Me to give you anything more?” They would say, “Have You not brightened our faces? Have You not made us enter Paradise and saved us from Fire?” He would lift the veil, and of things given to them, nothing would be dearer to them than looking at their Lord”. [Saheeh Muslim 181]

*[اللَّهُمَّ زَيِّنَّا بِزِينَةِ الْإِيمَانِ وِاجْعَلْنَا هُدَاةً مُهْتَدِينَ – O Allah! Adorn us with the adornment of Eemaan, and make us (from those who are) guided and guiding (others)]. Meaning: Beautification with Imaan involves adornment of the heart with authentic creed and noble deeds of the heart. It also entails adorning the tongue with remembrance of Allah and recitation of the Qur’an, as well as enjoining good and forbidding evil; adorning the limbs with righteous deeds that bring one closer to Allah.

*[ وَاجْعَلْنَا هُدَاةً مُهْتَدِينَ – And make us (from those who are) guided and guiding (others)]. Meaning: To be guided and guide others. This is the greatest status when one is acquainted with the truth, lives by it, and teaches others. We pray to Allah to lead us towards this path and allow us to be among those who are guided and guiding others.
