Shaikh al-Islam Ibn Tamiyyah, may Allah have mercy upon him, said:

The Druze and the Nusayris are unbelievers by consensus of the Muslim (scholars). It is not permissible to consume their slaughtered animals or to marry their women, for indeed, they are apostates. They are not Muslims, neither are they Jews nor Christians. [Footnote a]

They do not acknowledge the obligation of the five daily prayers, the fasting during Ramadan, or pilgrimage, nor do they recognise the prohibitions established by Allah and His Messenger regarding dead meat, alcohol, and other matters. Even if they profess the two testimonies of faith alongside these beliefs, they are deemed unbelievers by the consensus of the Muslim (scholars).

The Druze are followers of Hashtakin al-Darzi, a freed slave of the ruler, who sent him to the people of the valley of “Taym Allah Ibn Thalabah” to call them to the divinity of of the ruler, whom they refer to as the All-Knowing Creator, swearing oaths by him. They are part of the Isma’iliyyah (Shittes) claiming that Muhammad Ibn Ismail abrogated the Shariah of (Prophet) Muhammad the son Abdullah. Their disbelief is greater than those of the extremists (i.e. the most extreme Shiites), as they assert the eternity of the world, deny resurrection, and reject the obligations and prohibitions of Islam.

They are associated with the Qaramitah and the Batiniyyah, whose disbelief is more severe than that of the Jews, Christians, and the polytheists of Arabia. Their ultimate affair is philosophers in the path of Aristotle and his ilk, or Magians. Their statements are based on the statements of the philosophers and the Magians. [1]

Imam Abdul Aziz Bin Baz, may Allah have mercy upon him, said:

The Druze are ones among the people who hide the most what they are upon, concealing their religion and not making it very clear to the people. There are not aligned with the Muslims, while they feign that they are not non-Muslims, (but) what is well known is that they are polytheists and worshippers of the (Fatimid) Ubaidi ruler. They are no aligned with the Muslims and what is apparent is that they are not aligned with the Muslims. What is well known to the one who knows them is that they are not Muslims and they do not adhere to Islam as their religion. They engage in acts of worship that are outside of what the Muslims are upon and they are associated with (or connected) to the well known (Fatimid) Ubaidi ruler. This is what those familiar with them have stated. However, advising them is important – advising, calling them to the path of Allah, guiding them to good and teaching them what benefits them, hoping that Allah guides them….[2]

Allaah [The Most High] said:

وَإِذۡ قَالَ إِبۡرَٲهِـۧمُ رَبِّ ٱجۡعَلۡ هَـٰذَا بَلَدًا ءَامِنً۬ا وَٱرۡزُقۡ أَهۡلَهُ ۥ مِنَ ٱلثَّمَرَٲتِ مَنۡ ءَامَنَ مِنۡہُم بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلۡيَوۡمِ ٱلۡأَخِرِ‌ۖ

And (remember) when Ibrahim (Abraham) said: My Lord, make this city (Makkah) a place of security and provide its people with fruits, such of them as believe in Allah and the Last Day]. [Al-Baqara. 126]

Al-Allamah Salih Al-Fawzan, may Allaah protect him, said:

He (Ibrahim – peace be upon him) prioritized security in his supplication over the pursuit of sustenance because security is an essential requirement. Without security, individuals cannot truly enjoy sustenance, as fear undermines the ability to attain it. This is precisely what adversaries aim for—those who seek to destabilise Muslim societies. They wish to create division among Muslims and weaken their unity behind their leaders. This is what they desire – in the guise of promoting beneficial outcomes, rectification, and the alleviation of oppression. They do not desire good advice for the Muslims.

This is all false pretenses, as the absence of rulership would lead to widespread chaos, the proliferation of corruption, and the failure of the promised benefits. Corruption would become rampant, and rectification would be unattainable. Consequently, it is imperative for Muslims to unite under a leadership structure. Even if such leadership exhibits flaws and negligence, the populace should practice patience, as this patience serves to avert greater harm and adversity. Shaikh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah, may Allah have mercy upon him, said: “It is not known of a group that has ever risen against their Muslim ruler without their circumstances deteriorating further after his removal.” This observation is evident in contemporary times. What is the situation of the countries where the rulers and heads of state have been removed? There has not ceased to be fear, anxiety, chaos, and bloodshed etc. [1]

This underscores the significance of safety as a fundamental necessity for individuals. Otherwise, Ibrahim, peace be upon him, would not have persistently sought Allah’s assistance in establishing it in this land. Consider the regions where a system that ensures safety has deteriorated. In such places, the populace struggles to manage their daily affairs; schools and markets remain closed, and individuals are confined to their homes. Those who have the means often seek to escape to safer locations. When inquiring with one of them, it becomes evident that they feel unable to coexist with their community and family in an environment devoid of safety.

Security can only be effectively established through two key principles: the implementation of Allah’s Laws and obedience to the rulers. The Messenger, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, elucidated this essential matter for Muslims in their lives. Irbad Sariyah, may Allah be pleased with him, reported that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, delivered an admonition after the morning prayer—an admonition that instilled fear in our hearts and brought tears to our eyes. A man then asked, ‘Is this a farewell sermon, and what counsel do you offer us?’ He replied, ‘I enjoin on you to fear Allah and to listen and obey, even if an Abyssinian slave is appointed as your ruler. Indeed, those among you who live long enough will witness many differences. Therefore, be cautious of newly introduced matters in the religion, for they lead to misguidance. Whoever among you observes such occurrences is obliged to adhere to my Sunnah and the Sunnah of the rightly guided caliphs, holding firmly to it with your molar teeth.'” [Ahmad 3/126]

This hadith lays the foundations for security within Islam, which consists of two primary components. The first is fear of Allah (The Most High), understood in its fullest and most comprehensive sense. The second component is the adherence to the rulers in matters that are just and beneficial. The fear of Allah fosters a Muslim’s relationship with Allah, their neighbours, and the surrounding environment. Conversely, the absence of Allah’s Shariah leads to chaos and moral decay. Indeed, Allah (The Mighty and Majestic) has issued a warning to those who forsake His Shariah and disobey His Messenger. Allah said:

وَضَرَبَ اللَّهُ مَثَلًا قَرْيَةً كَانَتْ آمِنَةً مُّطْمَئِنَّةً يَأْتِيهَا رِزْقُهَا رَغَدًا مِّن كُلِّ مَكَانٍ فَكَفَرَتْ بِأَنْعُمِ اللَّهِ فَأَذَاقَهَا اللَّهُ لِبَاسَ الْجُوعِ وَالْخَوْفِ بِمَا كَانُوا يَصْنَعُونَ

And Allah puts forward the example of a township (Makkah), that dwelt secure and well content; its provision coming to it in abundance from every place, but it (its people) denied the Favours of Allah (with ungratefulness). So Allah made it taste the extreme of hunger (famine) and fear, because of that (evil, i.e. denying Prophet Muhammad) which they (its people) used to do. [Al-Nahl. 112]

Listening to and obeying the rulers in a (positive manner) ensures that an individual’s affairs within society remain orderly. This act of compliance is intrinsically linked to fear of Allah. Al-Hasan Al-Basri, may Allah have mercy upon him, said: “Indeed, Al-Hajjaaj is a manifestation of Allah’s punishment; therefore, do not attempt to counteract Allah’s punishment with your own hands. Instead, it is essential to submit and exhibit humility, as Allah, the Most High, has stated:

[وَلَقَدْ أَخَذْنَاهُم بِالْعَذَابِ فَمَا اسْتَكَانُوا لِرَبِّهِمْ وَمَا يَتَضَرَّعُونَ – And Indeed We seized them with punishment, but they humbled not themselves to their Lord, nor did they invoke (Allaah) with submission to Him]. [Al-Muminun. 76]

You see a person who possesses a true understanding of security and his awareness is increased through fear of Allah, thus, he is eager to obey the rulers. However, when there is a lapse in their piety, their sense of security may diminish. Once fear of Allah is established, they they will attain the promise that Allah has mentioned (as follows):

وَعَدَ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مِنكُمْ وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَيَسْتَخْلِفَنَّهُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ كَمَا اسْتَخْلَفَ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ وَلَيُمَكِّنَنَّ لَهُمْ دِينَهُمُ الَّذِي ارْتَضَىٰ لَهُمْ وَلَيُبَدِّلَنَّهُم مِّن بَعْدِ خَوْفِهِمْ أَمْنًا ۚ يَعْبُدُونَنِي لَا يُشْرِكُونَ بِي شَيْئًا ۚ وَمَن كَفَرَ بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ فَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْفَاسِقُونَ

Allah has promised those among you who believe, and do righteous good deeds, that He will certainly grant them succession to (the present rulers) in the earth, as He granted it to those before them, and that He will grant them the authority to practise their religion, that which He has chosen for them (i.e. Islam). And He will surely give them in exchange a safe security after their fear (provided) they (believers) worship Me and do not associate anything (in worship) with Me. But whoever disbelieved after this, they are the Fasiqun (rebellious, disobedient to Allah). [Al-Nur 55]

The lack of obedience to the ruler and prioritizing personal interests over that of the ruler is among the most significant factors leading to the corruption of both the land and its inhabitants, as well as a deviation from the path of righteousness and guidance. Al Hasan Al Basri, may Allah have mercy upon him, stated, “By Allah! The establishment of religion is only possible through rulers—despite their potential for tyranny and oppression—because they rectify numerous matters through their governance that outweigh the corruption they may cause.” Imam Ibn Rajab, may Allah have mercy upon him, stated, “The worldly life holds significant benefits when rulers are followed. Disregarding the authority of rulers and prioritizing oneself through conflict or other means equates to defying Allah and His Messenger, as well as opposing the principles upheld by Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jamaa’ah, the righteous predecessors. The maintenance of security fosters unity and cooperation among Muslims. Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, stated:

إِنَّمَا الْمُؤْمِنُونَ إِخْوَةٌ فَأَصْلِحُوا بَيْنَ أَخَوَيْكُمْ ۚ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ

The believers are nothing else than brothers (in Islamic religion). So, make reconciliation between your brothers, and fear Allah, that you may receive mercy. [Al-Hujurat. 10]

Allah, The Most High, said:

وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتُ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَاءُ بَعْضٍ ۚ يَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنكَرِ وَيُقِيمُونَ الصَّلَاةَ وَيُؤْتُونَ الزَّكَاةَ وَيُطِيعُونَ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ ۚ أُولَٰئِكَ سَيَرْحَمُهُمُ اللَّهُ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ

The believers, men and women, are Auliya’ (helpers, supporters, friends, protectors) of one another, they enjoin (on the people) Al-Ma’ruf, and forbid (people) from Al-Munkar; they perform As-Salat and give the Zakat, and obey Allah and His Messenger. Allah will have His Mercy on them. Surely Allah is All-Mighty, All-Wise. [at-Tawbah 71]

Iman is neither a matter of wishful thinking or superficial assertions; it is a conviction that resides in the heart, evidenced by one’s actions. A true believer cannot be considered as such until he desires for his Muslim brother what he desires for himself and interacts with others in a manner he wishes to be treated. It is universally acknowledged that security is a fundamental aspiration for all; thus, it is incumbent upon a Muslim to actively seek the security of others in order to attain security and safety for himself. Furthermore, maintaining security within a community requires the fulfillment of trusts, while creating an atmosphere of insecurity equates to betrayal. Allah, the Most High, has stated:

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَخُونُوا اللَّهَ وَالرَّسُولَ وَتَخُونُوا أَمَانَاتِكُمْ وَأَنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ
وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّمَا أَمْوَالُكُمْ وَأَوْلَادُكُمْ فِتْنَةٌ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ عِندَهُ أَجْرٌ عَظِيمٌ
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِن تَتَّقُوا اللَّهَ يَجْعَل لَّكُمْ فُرْقَانًا وَيُكَفِّرْ عَنكُمْ سَيِّئَاتِكُمْ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ ذُو الْفَضْلِ الْعَظِيمِ

O you who believe! Betray not Allah and His Messenger, nor betray knowingly your Amanat (things entrusted to you, and all the duties which Allah has ordained for you). And know that your possessions and your children are but a trial and that surely with Allah is a mighty reward. O you who believe! If you obey and fear Allah, He will grant you Furqan a criterion [(to judge between right and wrong), or (Makhraj, i.e. making a way for you to get out from every difficulty)], and will expiate for you your sins, and forgive you, and Allah is the Owner of the Great Bounty. [Al-Anfal. 27-29]

Shaikh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah, may Allah have mercy upon him, said, “They [i.e. Ahlus Sunnah] know that Allah sent Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, for the benefit of the creation in this life and the next, and Allah commands rectification and not corruption”. (2)

وَلَا تَرْكَنُوا إِلَى الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا فَتَمَسَّكُمُ النَّارُ وَمَا لَكُم مِّن دُونِ اللَّهِ مِنْ أَوْلِيَاءَ ثُمَّ لَا تُنصَرُونَ

And incline not toward those who do wrong, lest the Fire should touch you, and you have no protectors other than Allah, nor you would then be helped. (Hud: 113)

Al-Allamah Rabee Bin Hadi al-Mad’khali [may Allah preserve him] stated: Do not incline towards the oppressors – those who unjustly harm the people, by shedding their blood, seizing their wealth, and violating their honour. They may also oppress the people in matters of religion through bidah, misguidance, and spreading harmful propaganda that contradicts Islam. Avoid associating with any of these individuals; do not support or assist them in their falsehood. The verse covers all categories of oppressors. Every follower of falsehood, every innovator in religious matters, and anyone who dishonours a Muslim is considered an oppressor. Therefore, refrain from aligning yourself with any of them to avoid being affected by the fire of hell. When you incline towards a sinner, an innovator in religious affairs, an oppressor, a criminal, someone who dishonours others, or those who violate the sanctity of the divine legislation, it is as if you are pleased with them, as if you are aiding and abetting them. This describes the connection between the Zionists, their allies in the United States and other countries, the media, and the gatherings they organize to strengthen their suppression of the Palestinians. The Zionist media, in their relentless pursuit, aims to present a distorted image of reality. Instead of having a well-defined vision of the world, they choose to live in a delusional state, imposing their fanciful and irrational perspective on others. They strive to project a false image of themselves, disregarding the undeniable truth of their actions, which only reveals their complete detachment from reality. In their twisted world, they navigate through a distorted reality where truth is flipped on their heads. They strive to make the impossible possible, all while asserting their right to exist not out of reason, but out of a sense of entitlement that trumps the needs of others. In their world, words hold whatever meaning they choose to assign to them. Therefore, we remind those who aid Netanyahu that Allah says:

وَلَا تَرْكَنُوا إِلَى الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا فَتَمَسَّكُمُ النَّارُ وَمَا لَكُم مِّن دُونِ اللَّهِ مِنْ أَوْلِيَاءَ ثُمَّ لَا تُنصَرُونَ

Indeed, the pre-October 7th Zionist endeavour is well-known; however, October 7th merely represents an extension of 70 years of relentless savagery and annihilation, cunningly disguised as warfare and vindicated under the guise of self-preservation and countering transgressions against their territorial integrity. In their perspective, the atrocities inflicted upon them by the senseless imbeciles of Hamas serve as the foundation for the ceaseless conflict, wherein they have murdered more than 36,000 Palestinians in pursuit of a so-called righteous vengeance. It is indeed correct to assert that the borders were violated and the audacious acts of Hamas caused harm to innocent civilians. However, it is important to acknowledge that these borders were never rightfully owned by them. Instead, they were acquired through a relentless cycle of savagery, bloodshed, and unscrupulous plunder spanning over seven decades. Furthermore, the situation is analysed through a dual perspective, with the Zionists portrayed as malevolent tyrants and thieves, while Hamas is depicted as harmful idiots who ignore the strategic approach to survival and the concept of choosing the lesser evil, as clarified by the eurudite Islamic scholars. The Zionist media, in a state of delusion, falsely claim that there is a manipulative distortion of facts and language, such as the term “genocide,” as none of their leaders have openly expressed a desire to wipe out the Palestinians. Furthermore, they persistently try to draw parallels between the deaths of over 36,000 Palestinians, including innocent women and children, and the casualties of some non-combatants among their own people. While they decry the atrocities committed by Hamas, captured on GoPro cameras, we must acknowledge that such actions are unacceptable. However, the entire world witnesses the brutal Zionist forces engaging in acts of genocide under the guise of retaliation.

They argue that they are unjustly blamed for “apartheid” and deserve recognition for granting equal rights to all their people regardless of race, religion, etc. Nevertheless, we must remind them that the world witnesses the undeniable truth that the Palestinians are deprived of basic freedoms, such as the ability to move freely or live peacefully in their own homes, due to the constant fear of brutal attacks, starvation, and more. Hence, their longing for unearned praise is akin to an armed robber pretending to be generous with the riches they have stolen, just like how we witness the Zionists seizing land and bestowing it upon their supposed favored race. Nevertheless, despite their wickedness being as clear as daylight, they object to being labeled as colonialists, even while they have persistently oppress the native inhabitants and incessantly confiscating their belongings for more than seven decades. The entire world observed Netanyahu’s remarks, however, supporters of the Zionists in the United States and other places argue that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defence Minister Yoav Gallant are not responsible for crimes against humanity. Anyone who suggests otherwise is labelled as a “white-collar anti-Semite,” as seen in the comments made by Evangelical Pastor Johnnie Moore.

The Zionists’ American supporters, despite their desperate attempts and manipulation, can no longer conceal the truth. These manipulators not only provide weapons and intelligence to the Zionists but also aid them in prolonging their deceitful actions. They constantly seek to apologise for the IDF’s atrocities while using Hamas as a reckless distraction. Additionally, there exist certain factions who are unwilling to publicly disassociate themselves from Netanyahu due to concerns about jeopardising their personal finances. Therefore, they opt to remain silent as this self-serving wrongdoer, psychopath, and power-hungry individual continues to harm innocent women and children under the guise of combating Hamas and defending themselves. A person is deeply disturbed by the evident timidity and greed of these ideologues as they allow Netanyahu to put himself in situations where he must resort to evasive language to shirk his responsibilities. Therefore, whether Netanyahu is permitted to perpetuate his acts of genocide or not has now become a matter that clearly distinguishes between individuals of integrity and those who have forsaken their honour, despite their desperate desire to be seen as champions of justice and fairness. They will never make a decision that contradicts Netanyahu’s preferences or demands. It is truly astonishing how some of these American and Western ideologues strive to be seen as champions of human dignity, yet they continue to support Netanyahu despite his actions. He has been responsible for the bombing and starvation of innocent Palestinian civilians in Gaza, while also attempting to suppress any organisation that exposes his war crimes. His intelligence agencies have been deployed to pressure, smear, and even allegedly threaten those who investigate his crimes. Surprisingly, certain Western and American journalists, demagogues, ideologues, and rabble-rousers argue that those pursuing Netanyahu should have trusted his Zionist government’s ability to investigate and prosecute its own war criminals, rather than seeking arrest warrants for him and Yoav Gallant. Meanwhile, Netanyahu persists in weaponising charges of “terrorism” against anyone who supports the rights of Palestinians. Despite all of this, Netanyahu claims that he and his followers represent the forces of enlightenment – a pitiful form of psychological warfare that demonstrates the expansion of the battleground beyond mere physical clashes. His objective is to crush the morale and determination of an entire nation, and this calculated campaign was initiated by Netanyahu even before the 7th of October. His deceitful fabrications and distortions have been evident for many years, as he aligned himself with the most notorious deceivers of the time who propagated the falsehood of Iraq possessing weapons of mass destruction. We say to those who support Netanyahu that Allah says:

Allah [The Exalted] says:

إِنَّ فِرۡعَوۡنَ عَلَا فِى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَجَعَلَ أَهۡلَهَا شِيَعً۬ا يَسۡتَضۡعِفُ طَآٮِٕفَةً۬ مِّنۡہُمۡ يُذَبِّحُ أَبۡنَآءَهُمۡ وَيَسۡتَحۡىِۦ نِسَآءَهُمۡ‌ۚ إِنَّهُ ۥ كَانَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُفۡسِدِينَ

Verily, Pharaoh exalted himself in the land and made its people (into different) groups, weakening (oppressing) a group among them, killing their sons, and letting their females live. Verily, he was of the Mufsidoon. [Surah Al-Qasas. Ayah 4]

Pharaoh murdered the Children of Israel and refrained from murdering their women, but Netanyahu spares no one in his so-called pursuit of self-defense and proportionate retaliation. This displays a behavioural pattern suggestive of an egocentric and conceited individual who is prone to impulsive actions to validate their views and puts his aspirations above anything else – maiming and killing Palestinian children, bombing schools, hospitals, and refugee camps, and besieged nearly 2 million Palestinians while cutting them off from food, water, fuel, and electricity without guilt in the presence of millions of people throughout the world; steal Palestinian homes and land, and use religious rhetoric to justify war crimes. These are the actions sanctioned by someone who claims “moral superiority,” and to make matters worse, he utilises a distorted Scripture to justify his behaviour. Allah says: [وَمَنۡ أَظۡلَمُ مِمَّنِ ٱفۡتَرَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ كَذِبًا أَوۡ كَذَّبَ بِـَٔايَـٰتِهِۦۤ‌ۗ إِنَّهُ ۥ لَا يُفۡلِحُ ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ – And who does more wrong than he who invents a lie against Allah or rejects His Ayat (proofs, verses, lessons, revelations, etc.)? Verily, the Zaalimoon shall never be successful]. [Surah Al-An’aam. Ayah 21]

This mindset mirrors that of individuals resembling the Muta’assibah among the Jews and the Azaariqah (Khawarij) among the Muslims. The fanatical partisans among the Jews shared similarities with the Faareesiyyoon in their beliefs, yet they were notably aggressive and advocated for the assassination of those who opposed them. Referred to as Saffaakoon, they engaged in acts of pillage, plunder, and oppression towards anyone who did not align with their views. Conflict arose between them and the Faareesiyyoon due to the latter’s submission to the Romans. While some scholars classify them as part of political or nationalistic factions, their origins lie within a religious context, however, heinous were the crimes they committed across different regions. As for the Azaariqah among the Khawaarij, Al-Baghdaadee [429 AH- may Allah have mercy upon him] stated about their Bidah: “From it [i.e. their bidah] is the declaration that it is permissible to kill the women and children of their opponents, and they claimed that the children of their opponents would dwell in the fire forever”. Every person with a shred of decency – Muslim, Christian, Jew, and others – condemns this type of behaviour, whether undertaken in the guise of self-defence and retaliation.  Allah [The Exalted] says:

مَنْ قَتَلَ نَفْسًا بِغَيْرِ نَفْسٍ أَوْ فَسَادٍ فِي الْأَرْضِ فَكَأَنَّمَا قَتَلَ النَّاسَ جَمِيعًا وَمَنْ أَحْيَاهَا فَكَأَنَّمَا أَحْيَا النَّاسَ جَمِيعًا

If anyone killed a person not in retaliation of murder, or (and) to spread mischief in the land – it would be as if he killed all mankind, and if anyone saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of all mankind. [Surah Al-Maa’idah. Ayah 32]

Imaam As-Sadi [may Allah have mercy upon him] said, “If a person is bold enough to kill someone who does not deserve to be killed, then this implies that he does make a distinction between the one He killed and other than him; rather he would commit this act whenever his evil calls him to that. Therefore, his bold attitude that led him to kill is as if he had killed all humankind. On the other hand, if a person saves a life and does not kill – whilst his soul calls him to do so – due to fear of Allah, then this is as if he has saved the lives of all humankind because the fear of Allah he possesses stops him killing one who does not deserve to be killed”. Abdullah Bin Mas’ood [may Allaah be pleased with him] said that Allah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him] said, “The first (thing) that will be decided among people on the Day of Judgment will pertain to bloodshed”. [4]

Imaam An-Nawawi [may Allah have mercy upon him] said, “This hadith shows the severity (i.e. in sin) of bloodshed and that it will be the first thing that will be judged between people on the Day of Resurrection because of its greatness and extreme danger. This hadith does not contradict the well-known hadith in the Sunan that “The first thing a person will be questioned about is the prayer”, because this hadeeth is about an affair between Allah and the person, whereas the first hadeeth (i.e. judgment in matters related to bloodshed) is an affair between the people”. Allah [The Exalted] says:

إِذَا ٱلشَّمْسُ كُوِّرَتْ
When the sun will be coiled up (and lose its light).

وَإِذَا ٱلنُّجُومُ ٱنكَدَرَتْ
And when the stars will fall down (and scatter).

وَإِذَا ٱلْجِبَالُ سُيِّرَتْ
And when the mountains will be swept away (from their places, having being turned to dust).

وَإِذَا ٱلْعِشَارُ عُطِّلَتْ
And when the pregnant she-camels (that reach full-term) will be left idle, without care.

وَإِذَا ٱلْوُحُوشُ حُشِرَتْ

And when the wild beasts will be gathered together (for retribution to take place between them, before they are turned to dust).

وَإِذَا ٱلْبِحَارُ سُجِّرَتْ
And when the oceans will be kindled ablaze (after having merged together).

وَإِذَا ٱلنُّفُوسُ زُوِّجَتْ

And when the (various categories of) souls will be paired together (on the basis of their actions in this world) (or: when the souls are returned to their bodies).

وَإِذَا ٱلْمَوْءُۥدَةُ سُئِلَتْ
بِأَىِّ ذَنۢبٍ قُتِلَتْ
And when the female newborn (who was) buried alive will be asked. For what sin she was killed.

وَإِذَا ٱلصُّحُفُ نُشِرَتْ

And when the scrolls (of the good and bad deeds of every person as recorded by the angels) will be spread open.

وَإِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ كُشِطَتْ
And when the heaven will be torn out (from its place).

وَإِذَا ٱلْجَحِيمُ سُعِّرَتْ

And when the Hellfire will be kindled ablaze (its burning rage reflecting the sins of mankind and Allāh’s anger).

وَإِذَا ٱلْجَنَّةُ أُزْلِفَتْ
And when Paradise will be brought near (for the pious).

عَلِمَتْ نَفْسٌ مَّآ أَحْضَرَتْ

(When these events have taken place) then will every soul know what it has brought (of good and evil for this Day). [1]

وَإِذَا ٱلْمَوْءُۥدَةُ سُئِلَتْ
بِأَىِّ ذَنۢبٍ قُتِلَتْ

“And when the female new born (who was) buried alive will be asked. For what sin she was killed”. This pertains to the custom followed by the ignorant people of the pre-Islamic period, wherein they would bury their (infant) daughters alive solely out of the apprehension of poverty. Consequently, the innocent female child would be questioned (on the day of Judgement): [بِأَىِّ ذَنۢبٍ۬ قُتِلَتۡ- For what sin she was killed]? This is because it is widely acknowledged that she is sinless, and this verse serves as a (strong) reproach and cautionary message to those responsible for her demise. [2]

Staff writer Graeme Wood from The Atlantic has attempted to justify and legitimise the act of killing children in times of war. This disturbing stance parallels the sinister tactics employed by the Khariji Abu Qatadah. Both individuals align themselves with extremist factions, with Graeme siding with the murderous Zionists and Abu Qatadah supporting the murderous Kharijites. Ibn Umar [may Allah be pleased with him and his father] narrated that a woman was found killed in one of the battles; so Allah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] forbade the killing of women and children. [Sahih Muslim 1744]

Truly, the view of these individuals to justify and legitimise such barbaric, atrocious, and dreadful act is utterly despicable. Despite their reasoning, they have made a declaration that goes against the innate human compassion for children and the instinct to safeguard them at all costs. Their rationalisations exude pure malice verging on sadism, and they cannot absolve themselves of accountability for their words. No amount of sugar-coated language or purported noble goals can excuse the abhorrent nature of their statements. The proclamations they make are utterly appalling to any parent with even a shred of compassion, leaving one in disbelief. It is truly distressing to listen to or read, causing a wave of nausea. How could anyone attempt to justify such a heinous act against the most innocent, children or infants? This wicked justification paves the way for all perpetrators in times of conflict to behave inhumanely, inflicting deadly harm and unbearable agony leading to the demise of helpless children. One can scarcely fathom the horror and multitude of wounds that a child would suffer when trapped alongside others before meeting their demise! Indeed, the noble Messenger [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] said: “Allah will not be merciful to those who are not merciful to people”. [Ṣahiḥ Al-Bukhari 7376]

We ask Allah:
اللهم إني أسألك بأن لك الحمد لا إله إلا أنت المنان بديع السماوات والأرض يا ذا الجلال والإكرام! ياحيُّ ياقيوم

After the above supplication, we say, “May Allah guide Graeme, Abu Qatadah, and all those who utter such abhorrent and inhumane words towards the righteous path or afflict them with an ailment that renders their tongues and minds incapacitated. Amin”.

Imam Ibn Al-Qayyim [may Allah have mercy upon him]:

The contrast between seeking righteous leadership and simply seeking leadership lies in exalting Allah’s command and being sincere in devotion to Him, rather than seeking self-glorification and pursuing personal desires hastily. The individual who is truly sincere in devotion to Allah loves that his Lord is obeyed and not disobeyed, loves that the statement “none has the right to be worshipped except Allah” is uppermost, all matters of the religion sincerely established for the sake of Allah, the people obey Allah’s command and refrain from what Allah has forbidden. He is sincere in his devotion to Allah and sincere in guiding others towards the path of Allah. He aspires to be a leader in the religion and supplicates to his Lord to make him a leader of the righteous, just as he follows the righteous. Hence, if this servant of Allah who invites others to the path of Allah loves to be respected, honoured, and loved by the people, and wishes to be followed so that they trust him and emulate the Messenger through his actions, it does not harm his desire for leadership, instead, he is commended for it. This is because the one who calls to Allah yearns for obedience to Allah and the worship of Him alone. He seeks to be a means through which people are guided to obey Allah, worship Him alone, and follow the teachings of the Messenger. As a result of this, Allah mentions and praises His chosen servants with the best characteristics and that he will grant them the best reward on the day of judgment, saying:

وَٱلَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا هَبۡ لَنَا مِنۡ أَزۡوَٲجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّـٰتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعۡيُنٍ۬ وَٱجۡعَلۡنَا لِلۡمُتَّقِينَ إِمَامًا

And those who say: “Our Lord! Bestow on us from our wives and our offspring who will be the comfort of our eyes, and make us leaders for the pious”. [Surah Al-Furqan. Ayah 74]

They beseech Allah to bless them with the comfort of the eye by making their wives and children obedient to Allah and to fill their hearts with joy by being followed by the righteous in their devotion and servitude to Allah. This is because a trustworthy leader in the religion cooperates with others in obeying Allah and His Messenger, and that is to call them to sound leadership in the religion whose foundation is based on patience and certainty, as Allah [The Exalted] says:

وَجَعَلۡنَا مِنۡہُمۡ أَٮِٕمَّةً۬ يَہۡدُونَ بِأَمۡرِنَا لَمَّا صَبَرُواْ‌ۖ وَڪَانُواْ بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا يُوقِنُونَ

And We made from among them (Children of Israel), leaders, giving guidance under Our Command when they were patient and used to believe with certainty in Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.). [Surah Al-Sajdah. Ayah 24]

Hence, in their supplication to Allah that He makes them leaders for the righteous people, is that He guides and grants them success, and blesses them with beneficial knowledge and righteous deeds without which sound leadership in the religion cannot be attained.

This stands apart from simply pursuing leadership as its seekers strive to acquire it to accomplish their objectives, such as self-exaltation, enslaving the hearts and attaching them to themselves, and assisting them in achieving their goals, while they remain superior and everyone else subordinate to them. The pursuit of leadership of this kind results in corruption, the magnitude of which only Allah can comprehend, involving rebellion, envy, transgression, enmity, oppression, trials and tribulations, prioritising self-defence at the cost of violating Allah’s rights, elevating those despised by Allah and demeaning those honoured by Allah. To begin with, his intense desire to advance his interests is creating problems within the very population under his governance. Despite the loud demands from his people to immediately negotiate with reckless Hamas to secure the release of the hostages in Gaza, he persists in refusing to end the war. Instead, he cunningly employs the strategy of false promises, manipulating time to deceive the world. He sporadically allows aid to enter, only to cruelly withhold it at other times, all the while presenting his meagre efforts as a benevolent gesture. This calculated facade enables him to perpetrate his genocidal agenda more discreetly. The profound words of Imam Ibn Al-Qayyim regarding the pursuit of power without a sincere devotion to Allah are manifesting right before our very eyes. Netanyahu’s relentless pursuit poses a grave peril to the prosperity of both the Palestinians and his people, as it shamelessly places personal gain above the collective welfare. وَدَخَلَ ٱلۡمَدِينَةَ عَلَىٰ حِينِ غَفۡلَةٍ۬ مِّنۡ أَهۡلِهَا فَوَجَدَ فِيہَا رَجُلَيۡنِ يَقۡتَتِلَانِ هَـٰذَا مِن شِيعَتِهِۦ وَهَـٰذَا مِنۡ عَدُوِّهِۦ‌ۖ فَٱسۡتَغَـٰثَهُ ٱلَّذِى مِن شِيعَتِهِۦ عَلَى ٱلَّذِى مِنۡ عَدُوِّهِۦ فَوَكَزَهُ ۥ مُوسَىٰ فَقَضَىٰ عَلَيۡهِ‌ۖ قَالَ هَـٰذَا مِنۡ عَمَلِ ٱلشَّيۡطَـٰنِ‌ۖ إِنَّهُ ۥ عَدُوٌّ۬ مُّضِلٌّ۬ مُّبِينٌ۬
قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّى ظَلَمۡتُ نَفۡسِى فَٱغۡفِرۡ لِى فَغَفَرَ لَهُ ۥۤ‌ۚ إِنَّهُ ۥ هُوَ ٱلۡغَفُورُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ
قَالَ رَبِّ بِمَآ أَنۡعَمۡتَ عَلَىَّ فَلَنۡ أَكُونَ ظَهِيرً۬ا لِّلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ
فَأَصۡبَحَ فِى ٱلۡمَدِينَةِ خَآٮِٕفً۬ا يَتَرَقَّبُ فَإِذَا ٱلَّذِى ٱسۡتَنصَرَهُ ۥ بِٱلۡأَمۡسِ يَسۡتَصۡرِخُهُ ۥ‌ۚ قَالَ لَهُ ۥ مُوسَىٰٓ إِنَّكَ لَغَوِىٌّ۬ مُّبِينٌ۬

And he (Musa) entered the city at a time of unawareness of its people, and he found there two men fighting, – one of his party (his religion – from the Children of Israel), and the other of his foes. The man of his (own) party asked him for help against his foe, so Musa (Moses) struck him with his fist and killed him. He said: “This is of Shaitan‘s (Satan) doing, verily, he is a plain misleading enemy.” He said: “My Lord! Verily, I have wronged myself, so forgive me.” Then He forgave him. Verily, He is the Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful. He said: “My Lord! For that with which You have favoured me, I will never more be a helper for the Mujrimun (criminals, disobedient to Allah, polytheists, sinners, etc.)!” So he became afraid, looking about in the city (waiting as to what would be the result of his crime of killing), when behold, the man who had sought his help the day before, called for his help (again). Musa (Moses) said to him: “Verily, you are a plain misleader!” [Surah Al-Qasas. Ayaat 15-18]

Imam Ibn Al-Jawzi [may Allah have mercy upon him] said that one of the meanings of this statement [إِنَّكَ لَغَوِىٌّ۬ مُّبِينٌ – verily, you are a plain misleader] means, “You are misled in fighting a person whom you are unable to repel his evil from yourself”. [2]

Hamas, in their reckless strategy, has offered solace to a beleaguered individual, allowing him respite from his domestic tribulations. This individual presides over a fractured society, deeply entrenched in his Zionist convictions. Allah [The Exalted] says:

ٱسْتِكْبَارًا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَكْرَ ٱلسَّيِّئِ وَلَا يَحِيقُ ٱلْمَكْرُ ٱلسَّيِّئُ إِلَّا بِأَهْلِهِۦ فَهَلْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا سُنَّتَ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ فَلَن تَجِدَ لِسُنَّتِ ٱللَّهِ تَبْدِيلًا وَلَن تَجِدَ لِسُنَّتِ ٱللَّهِ تَحْوِيلًا
أَوَلَمْ يَسِيرُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَيَنظُرُوا۟ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ وَكَانُوٓا۟ أَشَدَّ مِنْهُمْ قُوَّةً وَمَا كَانَ ٱللَّهُ لِيُعْجِزَهُۥ مِن شَىْءٍ فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَلَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ عَلِيمًا قَدِيرًا
وَلَوْ يُؤَاخِذُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلنَّاسَ بِمَا كَسَبُوا۟ مَا تَرَكَ عَلَىٰ ظَهْرِهَا مِن دَآبَّةٍ وَلَٰكِن يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى فَإِذَا جَآءَ أَجَلُهُمْ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ بِعِبَادِهِۦ بَصِيرًۢا

(They took to flight because of their) arrogance in the land and their plotting of evil. But the evil plot encompasses only him who makes it. Then, can they expect anything (else), but the Sunnah (way of dealing) of the peoples of old? So no change will you find in Allah’s Sunnah (way of dealing), and no turning off will you find in Allah’s Sunnah (way of dealing). Have they not travelled in the land, and seen what was the end of those before them, and they were superior to them in power? Allah is not such that anything in the heavens or the earth escapes Him. Verily, He is All-Knowing, All-Omnipotent. And if Allah were to punish men for that which they earned, He would not leave a moving (living) creature on the surface of the earth, but He gives them respite to an appointed term, and when their term comes, then verily, Allah is Ever All-Seer of His slaves. [Surah Fatir. Ayaat 43-45]

It is said that Netanyahu is a political survivor!!! When he and his cronies say one thing publicly and secretly plan behind closed doors or buy time to protect their future corrupt objectives to consolidate their insatiable lust for power and their desire to take away the rights of the Palestinians, this is not a new phenomenon; rather, it is the same tactic used by the disbelieving tyrants of the past. When the disbelieving tyrant Fir’awn and his followers confronted the prophet Musa [peace be upon him], they first gathered in secret to plot before attempting to mislead the public with their false accusations against Musa and Harun [peace be upon them]. Allah states:

فَتَنَٰزَعُوٓا۟ أَمْرَهُم بَيْنَهُمْ وَأَسَرُّوا۟ ٱلنَّجْوَىٰ
قَالُوٓا۟ إِنْ هَٰذَٰنِ لَسَٰحِرَٰنِ يُرِيدَانِ أَن يُخْرِجَاكُم مِّنْ أَرْضِكُم بِسِحْرِهِمَا وَيَذْهَبَا بِطَرِيقَتِكُمُ ٱلْمُثْلَىٰ
فَأَجْمِعُوا۟ كَيْدَكُمْ ثُمَّ ٱئْتُوا۟ صَفًّا وَقَدْ أَفْلَحَ ٱلْيَوْمَ مَنِ ٱسْتَعْلَىٰ

Then they debated with one another what they must do, and they kept their talk secret. They said: “Verily! These are two magicians. Their object is to drive you out from your land with magic and overcome your chiefs and nobles. So devise your plot, and then assemble in line. And whoever overcomes this day will be indeed successful”. [Surah Taha. Ayaat 62-64]

Allah [The Exalted] says:

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِذَا تَنَٰجَيْتُمْ فَلَا تَتَنَٰجَوْا۟ بِٱلْإِثْمِ وَٱلْعُدْوَٰنِ وَمَعْصِيَتِ ٱلرَّسُولِ وَتَنَٰجَوْا۟ بِٱلْبِرِّ وَٱلتَّقْوَىٰ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ ٱلَّذِىٓ إِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ
إِنَّمَا ٱلنَّجْوَىٰ مِنَ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنِ لِيَحْزُنَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَلَيْسَ بِضَآرِّهِمْ شَيْـًٔا إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ ٱللَّهِ وَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ

O you who believe! When you hold secret counsel, do it not for sin and wrong-doing, and disobedience towards the Messenger (Muhammad) but do it for Al-Birr (righteousness) and Taqwa (virtues and piety), and fear Allah unto Whom you shall be gathered. Secret counsels (conspiracies) are only from Shaitan (Satan), so that he may cause grief to the believers. But he cannot harm them in the least, except as Allah permits, and in Allah let the believers put their trust. [Surah Al-Mujadilah. Ayaat 9-10]

The conduct of the despots from ancient times exemplified this refusal to accept responsibility for themselves and their cohorts, instead imposing arbitrary rules of conduct on others. Their accountability is dictated by their whims and desires, despite the world observing the glaring hypocrisy and double standards in their words and deeds. This hypocrisy is a constant feature of their international agenda, branding anyone who challenges it as uncouth, anti-Semitic, opposed to self-preservation, or deserving of a full-fledged psychological and cultural battle.

It is quite evident that any attempt to challenge their unethical ways is immediately branded as “the new antisemitism”, followed by subtle insinuations of harm toward those who dare to stand against them. They go as far as issuing a warning, “You ought to be concerned about your reputation as by going against us, you are transforming your establishment into an outcast institution, and you are only fuelling the flames of antisemitism that are rapidly engulfing the globe”. This tactic serves no purpose other than to evade responsibility. They employ a worn-out repertoire of propaganda, but in doing so, they inadvertently harm themselves, as anyone who has witnessed their transgressions recognises their profound delusion. To them, accountability implies that they have become a target, along with their associates, and serves as a warning to those who target them. Truly, this is a language reminiscent of the Mafia, not of individuals who uphold principles of fair play and virtuous morals as ordained by the Creator. Justice is exclusively reserved for those they have branded as criminals and misguided, despite the undeniable evidence of Netanyahu’s aggressive and intimidating behaviour, along with that of many of his supporters. Their actions blatantly prioritise their own desires and interests, disregarding any fair and equitable interactions as commanded by the Creator. Justice is selectively perceived and cherished by them solely when it serves their own agenda, and if their bullying tactics prove ineffective against their adversaries, they resort to public displays in an attempt to manipulate or pressure other influential political figures.

The elaborate mechanisms they have established and financed under the guise of promoting justice and accountability on a worldwide scale are selectively enforced, protecting their own interests above all else and disregarding the welfare of others. The unfolding drama is evident to all, casting a shadow over their purported international justice system, which they exploit to target others relentlessly. Netanyahu and his cohorts stand out as key figures in this relentless campaign. Those who possess political power and attempt to challenge this deep-rooted corruption can anticipate a rapid onslaught encompassing psychological, political, and material warfare against both themselves and their supporters. Moreover, they are likely to be branded as authoritarian, particularly if they advocate for justice for the Palestinians and an end to Netanyahu’s genocidal campaign. Instead of the Zionists, it is those who rightfully hold them accountable that bear the brunt of the barrage of anger, dissatisfaction, threats, and intimidation. The extensive discussion on the equitable implementation of justice has the potential to span numerous pages when thoroughly examined in light of the actions of Netanyahu and his cohorts, who provide unwavering military and political backing to sustain their oppressive treatment of the Palestinian people. However, the essence of this matter can be succinctly encapsulated by the profound words of Shaikh Salih Aala Ash-Shaikh [may Allah preserve him], as he eloquently elucidated the concocted laws devised by the global powers after the second world war. He said: “When a human being wishes to grant another person rights, he will not be free of desires, because the person who codifies laws, whatever they may be, will include their desires in them”. “Every ruling that contradicts the divine Islamic law must have been dominated by desires, and hence it is not correct. There is no doubt that desires hinder people from fulfilling rights in the way they should be fulfilled. As a result, since those principles (concerning equality and human rights) were founded on the opinions of individuals, so human desires, as well as the interests of the major powers and their desire to control weaker nations or countries with a high level of welfare, did interfere”. This is why we are witnessing something intriguing in our era with this notion of human rights, international law, genocide, ethnic cleansing, and other terms which some people exploit when it suits them, but turn a blind eye when it does not favour them. For example, if a weaker nation supported by certain major powers is attacked by another stronger nation, some ideologues emphasise the necessity of sovereignty and accuse their opponent of genocide, yet this is never important for them on behalf of Palestine! As a result, international law and human rights are employed unequally depending on who is affected – as a means of cheating against some and benefiting others. This intricate web of power is the very foundation upon which Netanyahu and his cohorts thrive. They are not mere political survivors, but rather, they embody the essence of oppression, willing to go to any lengths to subjugate others, all while disregarding the principles of fairness bestowed upon us by Allah. They emulate the tyrants of yore who employed cunning strategies, such as the incessant use of captivating slogans, placating their criminal allies, and skilfully evading accountability for the havoc they wreaked. They masterfully manipulated time, garnering support and captivating their nationalist base with a mesmerising political narrative. In their quest for dominance, they cunningly orchestrated conflicts and rivalries among their adversaries, sowing the seeds of violence and unrest. Throughout the annals of history, those accountable for such reprehensible conduct have consistently prioritised their vain desires and lusts. They deftly navigate the treacherous waters between their loyal adherents and formidable adversaries, adroitly evading the weight of their obligations. Such is the modus operandi of Netanyahu, devoid of any intellectual prowess or extraordinary brilliance. Instead, he simply treads the path of the accursed, insatiably hungry for power and control. Allah [The Exalted] says:

إِنَّ فِرۡعَوۡنَ عَلَا فِى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَجَعَلَ أَهۡلَهَا شِيَعً۬ا يَسۡتَضۡعِفُ طَآٮِٕفَةً۬ مِّنۡہُمۡ يُذَبِّحُ أَبۡنَآءَهُمۡ وَيَسۡتَحۡىِۦ نِسَآءَهُمۡ‌ۚ إِنَّهُ ۥ كَانَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُفۡسِدِينَ

Verily, Fir’aun (Pharaoh) exalted himself in the land and made its people sects, weakening (oppressing) a group (i.e. Children of Israel) among them, killing their sons, and letting their females live. Verily, he was of the Mufsidoon]. [Surah Al-Qasas. Ayah 4]

[وَجَعَلَ أَهۡلَهَا شِيَعً۬ا – and made its people sects]- Meaning: Various organized and differentiated groups were established, and he effectively employed each group according to his desires within his kingdom. [2] He organised them into factions and various factions to assist him, and they complied with his wishes and followed his orders. [3] He organised them into separate groups, manipulated them according to his wicked desires, and dominated them as he pleased, utilising his strength and authority. [4] He organised them into various factions, leading them to follow his every wicked and corrupt desire, or he manipulated some to influence others to comply with his commands. Alternatively, he formed distinct groups under his control, assigning each group different tasks like construction, farming, excavation, and other laborious duties. Those who refused to work were punished, thus ensuring their obedience. Another method he employed was to create divisions among them, fueling animosity and discord to prevent them from uniting against him. [5]

[ إِنَّهُ ۥ كَانَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُفۡسِدِينَ – Verily, he was of the Mufsidoon]- Meaning: Those individuals whose intention is not to rectify either religious or worldly matters, and this was due to his corrupt behavior on the earth; [6] engaging unlawful killing and displaying defiance towards Allah.[7]

Nevertheless, it is common knowledge of the fate that befell Fir’awn, as no disbelieving despot throughout history has managed to evade the consequences of defying the commands of Allah, no matter the grandeur of his schemes or the might he wielded.

Allah [The Exalted] says:

قَدۡ مَڪَرَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡ فَأَتَى ٱللَّهُ بُنۡيَـٰنَهُم مِّنَ ٱلۡقَوَاعِدِ فَخَرَّ عَلَيۡہِمُ ٱلسَّقۡفُ مِن فَوۡقِهِمۡ وَأَتَٮٰهُمُ ٱلۡعَذَابُ مِنۡ حَيۡثُ لَا يَشۡعُرُونَ
ثُمَّ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَـٰمَةِ يُخۡزِيهِمۡ وَيَقُولُ أَيۡنَ شُرَڪَآءِىَ ٱلَّذِينَ كُنتُمۡ تُشَـٰٓقُّونَ فِيہِمۡ‌ۚ قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ ٱلۡعِلۡمَ إِنَّ ٱلۡخِزۡىَ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ وَٱلسُّوٓءَ عَلَى ٱلۡڪَـٰفِرِينَ

Those before them indeed plotted, but Allah struck at the foundation of their building, and then the roof fell down upon them, from above them, and the torment overtook them from directions they did not perceive. Then, on the Day of Resurrection, He will disgrace them and will say: “Where are My (so-called) ‘partners’ concerning whom you used to disagree and dispute (with the believers, by defying and disobeying Allah)?” Those who have been given the knowledge (about the Torment of Allah for the disbelievers) will say: “Verily! Disgrace this Day and misery are upon the disbelievers. [Surah An-Nahl. Ayah 26-27]

The commentators explain that this is in reference to Namrood, who constructed a towering structure in an attempt to ascend to the heavens and challenge its dwellers. Subsequently, Allah dispatched a powerful wind that hurled the summit of the tower into the sea, causing the remainder to crumble. [8]

[قَدۡ مَڪَرَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡ – Those before them indeed plotted]- Meaning: (The plotters), in opposition to the messengers, utilised various cunning tactics to dismiss the messages they delivered and implemented extensive measures to safeguard their schemes.

[فَأَتَى ٱللَّهُ بُنۡيَـٰنَهُم مِّنَ ٱلۡقَوَاعِدِ – but Allah struck at the foundation of their building]– Meaning, an affair came to them from its basis and foundation [فَخَرَّ عَلَيۡہِمُ ٱلسَّقۡفُ مِن فَوۡقِهِمۡ – and then the roof fell down upon them, from above them]- Meaning, that which they built became a punishment for them.

[وَأَتَٮٰهُمُ ٱلۡعَذَابُ مِنۡ حَيۡثُ لَا يَشۡعُرُونَ – and the torment overtook them from directions they did not perceive]: Meaning, they thought that such a building would bring them benefits and protection, but instead, the punishment they faced came from the very structure they had created. This parable is among the finest examples of how Allah thwarts the schemes of His adversaries. They contemplated and analysed the teachings of the Messengers, only to deny them and fabricate false principles and rules, used them to reject the Messengers’ message, and employed deceitful tactics to cause distress and harm to both the Messengers and their followers. However, their plot backfired and turned into a source of evil against them. Ultimately, their own plan led to their destruction, as Allah says:

وَلَا يَحِيقُ الْمَكْرُ السَّيِّئُ إِلَّا بِأَهْلِهِ

But the evil plot encompasses only him who makes it]. [Surah Faatir. Ayah: 43]

This is with regards to this life, and the consequences in the hereafter will be even more humiliating. Due to this, Allah says: [ثُمَّ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَـٰمَةِ يُخۡزِيهِمۡ – Then, on the Day of Resurrection, He will disgrace them]. [9]

Verily, in the same manner as the unbelievers of yore persisted in their falsehoods and deceit, unwilling to cease their wrongdoing until they faced the consequences they had earned, similarly, Netanyahu and his cohorts persist in their ruinous ways. Deception and falsehood underpin all their strategies and self-preservation methods, yet they shall never succeed in fooling those who adhere to the divine guidance and the teachings of wise scholars throughout the ages until the end of time. Imam Ibn Al-Qayyim [may Allah have mercy upon him] stated: “The fact that whether a statement is lies and falsehood can sometimes be discerned from the statement itself, its contradictions, perplexity, and the clear indications that reveal its falsehood. Lies can be evident based on their reality, their appearance, and what is being concealed. It is sometimes known based on the circumstances of the utterer of the lie, as someone known for lying, wickedness, and deception will exhibit these traits in their words and actions. He does not utter a statement or engage in an action resembling that of a pious and truthful individual – someone free from all evil, deceit, lies, and wickedness. Instead, the sincere person’s heart, intentions, words, and actions mirror one another, while the liar’s heart, words, actions, and intentions also align”. [10]

Imam ibn Al-Qayyim’s statement, as cited above, accurately reflects the observations made by many regarding Netanyahu’s situation. Nevertheless, he persists and up to now has orchestrated the murder of more than 34,000 Palestinians under the guise of self-defense and retribution. Allah [The Exalted] says:

وَالَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا سَنَسْتَدْرِجُهُم مِّنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
وَأُمْلِي لَهُمْ ۚ إِنَّ كَيْدِي مَتِينٌ

Those who reject Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), We shall gradually seize them with punishment in ways they perceive not. And I respite them; certainly, My Plan is strong. [Surah al-A’raf. Ayaat 182-183]

[سَنَسْتَدْرِجُهُم – We shall gradually seize them with punishment] – Meaning, Allah provides them with an abundance of sustenance and respite, leading them to believe that they will not be held accountable for their disobedience or face any consequences. Consequently, they grow in disbelief and wrongdoing, causing harm to themselves unknowingly. This is why Allah has says: [إِنَّ كَيْدِي مَتِينٌ -certainly My Plan is strong] [11]

[ سَنَسْتَدْرِجُهُم مِّنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ – We shall gradually seize them with punishment in ways they perceive not]: Imaam Sufyan Ath-Thawree [may Allah have mercy upon him] stated that this means that whenever they engage in (major) sins, Allah grants them a favour by causing them to overlook seeking forgiveness. We ask Allah:
رَبَّنَا لَا تَجۡعَلۡنَا فِتۡنَةً۬ لِّلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ

Perfect Justice Can Only Be Achieved Through The Final Infallible Divine Revelation

Allah [The Exalted] says:

كَانَ ٱلنَّاسُ أُمَّةً۬ وَٲحِدَةً۬ فَبَعَثَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَ مُبَشِّرِينَ وَمُنذِرِينَ وَأَنزَلَ مَعَهُمُ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ لِيَحۡكُمَ بَيۡنَ ٱلنَّاسِ فِيمَا ٱخۡتَلَفُواْ فِيهِ

Mankind was one community (i.e. upon Tawheed and Allah’s Shari’ah) and Allah sent Prophets with glad tidings and warnings, and with them, He sent the Scripture in truth to judge between people in matters wherein they differed]. [Surah Al-Baqarah’ Aayah 213]

Shaikh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah [may Allah have mercy upon him] said, “And even though there is something in the paths of analogical reasoning and reflection that will lead to knowledge, sometimes it cannot give a detailed explanation in a dispute between the people of the earth due to the minute details and ambiguities [in that dispute], and at other times due to the fact the people differ when prioritizing necessities. Therefore, due to this Allah [The Most High] commanded us to return to the revelation in times of dispute. [1]

Shaikh Salih Aala Ash-Shaikh [may Allah preserve him] said: Allah is the one who upholds the rights of humanity under the laws He has established. This is why numerous studies on the subject have demonstrated that Islamic law, the life of our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), the teachings of the Qur’an and the Sunnah, as well as the deeds of the four caliphs and those who followed them, are the greatest early codifications of human rights, lofty in both their proclamation and their implementation. It was fully implemented throughout the era of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and the Rightly Guided Caliphs (may Allah be pleased with them). When a human being wishes to grant another person rights, he will not be free of desires, because the person who codifies laws, whatever they may be, will include their desires in them. As a result, Western man-made laws, such as French man-made law, American man-made law, and other man-made laws, are subject to change from time to time – either because the law was first initiated for the sake of the country’s interests when it was established, or due to the influence of (influential personalities or leaders, etc) in that country in some matters, or because time passed and thus the circumstances changed. Allah clarified that the pre-Islamic judgment is desire-based. Allah [Glorified be He] says: [وَأَنِ احْكُم بَيْنَهُم بِمَا أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ وَلَا تَتَّبِعْ أَهْوَاءَهُمْ – And so judge (you O Muhammad) between them by what Allah has revealed and follow not their vain desires]. [Surah Al-Maa’idah. Ayah 49]

Every ruling that contradicts the divine Islamic law must have been dominated by desires, and hence it is not correct. There is no doubt that desires hinder people from fulfilling rights in the way they should be fulfilled. As a result, since those principles (concerning equality and human rights) were founded on the opinions of individuals, so human desires, as well as the interests of the major powers and their desire to control weaker nations or countries with a high level of welfare, did interfere. If you examine the circumstances of people before the advent of Prophet Muhammad [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him], whether they were Egyptians, Persians, Romans, or Arabs in Makkah and the surrounding areas, people from the Arabian Peninsula, people who lived in Syria and Iraq, or people in Egypt and its neighbours, you will find that deprivation of liberties and denial of equality was prevalent; rather, it was (a situation of) the law of the jungle, so the strong (oppressed, terrorised, etc) the weak and the people subjugated one another. As a result, when the Persian ruler asked (the Prophet’s companion) Rabee [may Allah be pleased with him], “You are Arabs, so what brought you to the land of Persia?” He replied, “Indeed, Allah sent us to remove the one He wishes to be removed from the worship of the servants and direct them towards the worship of the Lord of the servants, to remove them from the distress of the worldly life to the happiness of the worldly life and the Hereafter. [2]

This is why we are witnessing something intriguing in our era with this notion of human rights, international law, genocide, ethnic cleansing, and other terms which some people exploit when it suits them, but turn a blind eye when it does not favour them. For example, if a weaker nation supported by certain major powers is attacked by another stronger nation, some ideologues emphasise the necessity of sovereignty and accuse their opponent of genocide, yet this is never important for them on behalf of Palestine! As a result, international law and human rights are employed unequally depending on who is affected – as a means of cheating against some and benefiting others. Therefore, refuse to be fooled by the words, phrases, and expressions used by the Zionists and their collaborators to conceal themselves behind purportedly renowned institutions.

May Allah guide those journalists, individuals in so-called think tanks and prestigious universities who seek to falsify facts to trivialise the grave crimes committed by the Zionist/far-right army under Netanyahu’s command and his far-right enablers, or else we remind them that the final Messenger to humanity has stated: “The judges are three: one will go to Paradise and two to Hell. A man who knows the truth and judges with it will enter paradise; a man who knows the truth but judges with the opposite of it will enter the fire, and a man who judges for the people based on ignorance will enter the fire”. Inequality In Punishment Led to The Destruction of The Nations of Old

Aa’isha [may Allah be pleased with her] reported that the Quraish had been anxious about the Makhzumi woman who had committed theft, and said, “Who will speak to Allah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] about her?” They said, “Who dare it, but Usamah, the loved one of Allah’s Messenger?” So Usamah spoke to him. Thereupon Allah’s Messenger said, “Do you intercede regarding one of the punishments prescribed by Allah?” He then stood up and addressed (people) saying, “O people! Those who have gone before you were destroyed, because if anyone of high status committed theft amongst them, they spared him; and if anyone of low status committed theft, they inflicted the prescribed punishment upon him. By Allah, if Fatima, daughter of Muhammad, were to steal, I would have her hand cut off”. [4]

“Do you intercede regarding one of the punishments prescribed by Allah?” Meaning, it is not permissible to intercede regarding the divine prescribed punishments. “Those who have gone before you were destroyed because if anyone of high status committed theft amongst them, they spared him; and if anyone of low status committed theft, they inflicted the prescribed punishment upon him” – Meaning, destroyed by way of punishment due to their sins. They were destroyed due to this affair because they said, “This is a person of high status and it is not possible to cut his hand”. When a person of high status amongst them stole, they let him off, (but) when a person of low status stole, they established the punishment on him, so the implementation of Allaah’s prescribed punishments was carried out based on their desires. This hadeeth is proof to show that the nations before us committed theft, and that there was much theft in their midst including the wealthy, the poor, the one of high status, and the one of low status. Then the Messenger made an oath – even though he is the righteous and truthful one without making an oath – that “By Allah, if Fatima, daughter of Muhammad, were to steal, I would have her hand cut off”. O Allaah! Send Your Salutations and blessings upon him (i.e. the prophet). This is how justice should be and how Allah’s rulings are to be applied, and not through desires. He (i.e. The Prophet) made an oath that if Fatimah – who was of a higher status than that Makhzumi woman, both in nobility and lineage because she is the leader of the women of paradise- the daughter of Muhammad stole, he would cut her hand. Allah [The Exalted] says:

يَـٰبَنِىٓ إِسۡرَٲٓءِيلَ ٱذۡكُرُواْ نِعۡمَتِىَ ٱلَّتِىٓ أَنۡعَمۡتُ عَلَيۡكُمۡ وَأَوۡفُواْ بِعَہۡدِىٓ أُوفِ بِعَهۡدِكُمۡ وَإِيَّـٰىَ فَٱرۡهَبُونِ

O Children of Israel! Remember My Favour which I bestowed upon you, and fulfill (your obligations to) My Covenant (with you) so that I fulfill (My Obligations to) your covenant (with Me), and fear none but Me.

وَءَامِنُواْ بِمَآ أَنزَلۡتُ مُصَدِّقً۬ا لِّمَا مَعَكُمۡ وَلَا تَكُونُوٓاْ أَوَّلَ كَافِرِۭ بِهِۦ‌ۖ وَلَا تَشۡتَرُواْ بِـَٔايَـٰتِى ثَمَنً۬ا قَلِيلاً۬ وَإِيَّـٰىَ فَٱتَّقُونِ

And believe in what I have sent down (this Qur’an), confirming that which is with you, [the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)], and be not the first to disbelieve therein, and buy not with My Verses [the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] a small price (i.e. getting a small gain by selling My Verses), and fear Me and Me Alone. (Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. I, Page 253).

وَلَا تَلۡبِسُواْ ٱلۡحَقَّ بِٱلۡبَـٰطِلِ وَتَكۡتُمُواْ ٱلۡحَقَّ وَأَنتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ

And mix not truth with falsehood, nor conceal the truth [i.e. Muhammad Peace be upon him is Allah’s Messenger and his qualities are written in your Scriptures, the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] while you know (the truth).

وَأَقِيمُواْ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتُواْ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَٱرۡكَعُواْ مَعَ ٱلرَّٲكِعِينَ

And perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat), and give Zakat, and Irka’ (i.e. bow down or submit yourselves with obedience to Allah) along with Ar-Raki’un. [Surah Al-Baqarah. Ayaat 40-43]

The Zionists inherited this sin from the treacherous disbelievers among Bani Israel during the era of the Messenger Muhammad [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him]. Allah said to them:

[وَلَا تَلۡبِسُواْ ٱلۡحَقَّ بِٱلۡبَـٰطِلِ وَتَكۡتُمُواْ ٱلۡحَقَّ وَأَنتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ – And mix not truth with falsehood, nor conceal the truth [i.e. Muhammad Peace be upon him is Allah’s Messenger and his qualities are written in your Scriptures, the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] while you know (the truth)]. Imam Ibnul Qayyim [may Allah have mercy upon him] said: Allah prohibited the mixing of truth with falsehood, thus leading to the concealment of the truth. Mixing truth with false is by mixing the two until one of them is confused with the other. This is forgery and deceit by way of which what is made apparent is the opposite of what it is in reality. Also, when the truth is confounded with falsehood, the culprit manifests falsehood in the image of truth and speaks with a statement that carries two meanings- a correct meaning and a false meaning, so the listener is under the illusion that the speaker intends the correct meaning, whilst he (i.e. the speaker) intends the corrupt meaning. [6]

Because the callous Zionists do not wish to distinguish between those who desire justice for Palestinians and those who seek to harm Jews solely due to their race or religion, anyone who opposes their heinous crimes and brutality against Palestinians is labelled an anti-Semite. They are certain that denouncing Zionist aggression has no connection to anti-Semitism, but they seek to muddle the discourse to coerce and threaten anyone who dares to denounce their atrocities. When shown beyond a shadow of a doubt that they are an “apartheid state” because of their racial and brutal treatment of Palestinians, they refuse to acknowledge the evidence and utilise the anti-Semitism card – a strategy through which they intend to silence everyone with a modicum of common sense from denouncing the evils of Zionism. Furthermore, they use different strategies to openly, directly, indirectly, or discreetly appeal for sympathy by playing the anti-Semitism card in the context of the Holocaust. So, their cheerleaders in the media remind us of the crimes of the Nazis against the Jews and use it as a cover to gag everyone who attempts to openly condemn the Zionists for committing crimes against the Palestinians. Shaikh Al-Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah [may Allah have mercy upon him] said, “Falsehood does not spread except with a mixture of some truth just as the people of the Scripture mixed truth falsehood. And by way of the little truth they had, they misguided many from the truth and called them to a lot of the falsehood”. [7]

Moreover, some Jews would not have disassociated themselves from Zionism and denounced the Zionists for their everyday atrocities against the Palestinian people if Zionism and anti-Semitism were the same thing. Shaikh Abu Iyaad [may Allah preserve him] states: “…the term anti-Semitism has been stretched from its historical context within Europe90 and politically charged to include criticism of what is described by both religious and secular Jews as the ‘aggressive, inhumane and genocidal policy’ of European Ashkenazi Zionists against Palestinian Semitic Arabs. So, do not lend an ear to the Zionists and their cheerleaders in the media even when they swear by God until every deed of theirs is scrutinised by reliable people with clear proof. Shaikhul Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah [may Allaah have mercy upon him] stated, “The seeker of leadership- even through falsehood- becomes pleased with a statement that contains an exaltation of him, even if it is falsehood; and becomes angered by a statement that contains a rebuke against him, even if it is truth. The believer [i.e. the one with strong Islamic faith and fear of Allah] is pleased with a statement of truth whether it is for or against him, and he is angered by a statement of falsehood whether it is for or against him. That is because Allah [The Most High] loves truth, truthfulness, and justice, and He hates lies and oppression”. [8]

This rebuke against the Zionists in no way suggests that we do not condemn the deeds of Muslims- be it Hamas or other than them- who harm, murder, or kidnap civilians and non-combatant citizens under the authority of the Zionists, even though there are none more oppressive and barbaric than the Zionists of Palestine, whose crimes cannot be compared to even that of ISIS. Shaikh Abu Iyaad [may Allah preserve him] stated, “We condemn everyone who opposes the Divine Legislation by killing innocent civilians, including non-combatant men, the elderly, women, children, priests, monks, and the like, no matter who they are, Muslim or non-Muslim, whether ISIS, al-Qaeda, Hamas, Boko Haram or Benjamin Mileikowsky, the IDF, Settlers, and their likes. Our condemnation is on the basis that such actions are unjust and oppose Divine Legislation and not because of the race, ethnicity, or religion of the perpetrators, and thus we can maintain moral consistency and integrity. In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Allah says:

وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ لَا تُفْسِدُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّمَا نَحْنُ مُصْلِحُونَ
أَلَآ إِنَّهُمْ هُمُ ٱلْمُفْسِدُونَ وَلَٰكِن لَّا يَشْعُرُونَ

And when it is said to them, “Do not cause corruption on the earth (through your disbelief, sin, treachery, and sedition against those who believe),” they say, “Indeed, we are but reformers (who rectify and make peace).” Indeed, they are the ones who are the mischief-makers (in reality), but they perceive this not (due to their ignorance, disbelief, and arrogance). [1]

Imam Ibn Al-Qayyim [may Allah have mercy upon him] said: First, they are declared as liars in their claim, secondly, a notification that they are corrupt, thirdly, attributed to the root of corruption with the confirmation of their true nature as corrupt individuals, and finally, declared as profoundly ignorant, signifying their complete lack of self-awareness regarding their corrupt behaviour. [2]

Netanyahu is yearning to break free from his current circumstances. By convincing himself that he is not a perpetrator of heinous crimes, his inner thoughts create a facade to portray him as a compassionate individual or a champion of justice. This is because he cannot come to grips with the reality that he is a coward and a child murderer, unable to confront the harsh truths due to his lack of courage to renounce his wicked ways. He is shielded by his subconscious mind from the harsh, diabolical, and disgraceful deeds he has committed, acknowledging the unpleasant reality but rationalising it as acceptable behavior, then desperately shifting blame onto others. This severe state of self-deception is what drives him to continue his atrocities against women and children.

Since the onset of the genocide, a staggering number of 34,200 have been murdered, among them 14,500 children and 10,000 women. The devastating aftermath persists, with over 10,000 individuals remaining buried beneath the ruins. Furthermore, the discovery of mass graves at hospitals in both the northern and southern regions of Gaza has added to the already harrowing situation. The unparalleled cruelty exhibited by Netanyahu and his accomplices, the Zionists, is truly unfathomable. The destruction is extensive, with two-thirds of residential properties, as well as vital infrastructure such as roads, hospitals, schools, universities, factories, shops, graveyards, libraries, and masjids, reduced to ruins. In her report for the UN Human Rights Council, UN special rapporteur on the occupied Palestinian territories Francesca Albanese wrote: “[There are] reasonable grounds to believe that the threshold indicating the commission of the following acts of genocide against Palestinians in Gaza has been met: killing members of the group; causing serious bodily or mental harm to groups’ members; and deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part”.
