Remind those who support Netanyahu about the verse: “And incline not toward those who do wrong, lest the Fire should touch you, and you have no protectors other than Allah, nor you would then be helped”.

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

And incline not toward those who do wrong, lest the Fire should touch you, and you have no protectors other than Allah, nor you would then be helped. (Hud: 113)

Al-Allamah Rabee Bin Hadi al-Mad’khali [may Allah preserve him] stated: Do not incline towards the oppressors – those who unjustly harm the people, by shedding their blood, seizing their wealth, and violating their honour. They may also oppress the people in matters of religion through bidah, misguidance, and spreading harmful propaganda that contradicts Islam. Avoid associating with any of these individuals; do not support or assist them in their falsehood. The verse covers all categories of oppressors. Every follower of falsehood, every innovator in religious matters, and anyone who dishonours a Muslim is considered an oppressor. Therefore, refrain from aligning yourself with any of them to avoid being affected by the fire of hell. When you incline towards a sinner, an innovator in religious affairs, an oppressor, a criminal, someone who dishonours others, or those who violate the sanctity of the divine legislation, it is as if you are pleased with them, as if you are aiding and abetting them. [1]

This describes the connection between the Zionists, their allies in the United States and other countries, the media, and the gatherings they organize to strengthen their suppression of the Palestinians. The Zionist media, in their relentless pursuit, aims to present a distorted image of reality. Instead of having a well-defined vision of the world, they choose to live in a delusional state, imposing their fanciful and irrational perspective on others. They strive to project a false image of themselves, disregarding the undeniable truth of their actions, which only reveals their complete detachment from reality. In their twisted world, they navigate through a distorted reality where truth is flipped on their heads. They strive to make the impossible possible, all while asserting their right to exist not out of reason, but out of a sense of entitlement that trumps the needs of others. In their world, words hold whatever meaning they choose to assign to them. Therefore, we remind those who aid Netanyahu that Allah says:

وَلَا تَرْكَنُوا إِلَى الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا فَتَمَسَّكُمُ النَّارُ وَمَا لَكُم مِّن دُونِ اللَّهِ مِنْ أَوْلِيَاءَ ثُمَّ لَا تُنصَرُونَ

And incline not toward those who do wrong, lest the Fire should touch you, and you have no protectors other than Allah, nor you would then be helped. (Hud: 113)

Indeed, the pre-October 7th Zionist endeavour is well-known; however, October 7th merely represents an extension of 70 years of relentless savagery and annihilation, cunningly disguised as warfare and vindicated under the guise of self-preservation and countering transgressions against their territorial integrity. In their perspective, the atrocities inflicted upon them by the senseless imbeciles of Hamas serve as the foundation for the ceaseless conflict, wherein they have murdered more than 36,000 Palestinians in pursuit of a so-called righteous vengeance. It is indeed correct to assert that the borders were violated and the audacious acts of Hamas caused harm to innocent civilians. However, it is important to acknowledge that these borders were never rightfully owned by them. Instead, they were acquired through a relentless cycle of savagery, bloodshed, and unscrupulous plunder spanning over seven decades. Furthermore, the situation is analysed through a dual perspective, with the Zionists portrayed as malevolent tyrants and thieves, while Hamas is depicted as harmful idiots who ignore the strategic approach to survival and the concept of choosing the lesser evil, as clarified by the eurudite Islamic scholars. These scholars have constantly cautioned against provoking the heartless Zionists, who are notorious for their history of cruelty and their insatiable desire for genocide. Nevertheless, Hamas serves as nothing more than unwitting pawns in the grand scheme orchestrated by the Zionists. Read here: https://abuiyaad.com/w/hamas-israeli-right

The Zionist media, in a state of delusion, falsely claim that there is a manipulative distortion of facts and language, such as the term “genocide,” as none of their leaders have openly expressed a desire to wipe out the Palestinians. Furthermore, they persistently try to draw parallels between the deaths of over 36,000 Palestinians, including innocent women and children, and the casualties of some non-combatants among their own people. While they decry the atrocities committed by Hamas, captured on GoPro cameras, we must acknowledge that such actions are unacceptable. However, the entire world witnesses the brutal Zionist forces engaging in acts of genocide under the guise of retaliation.

They argue that they are unjustly blamed for “apartheid” and deserve recognition for granting equal rights to all their people regardless of race, religion, etc. Nevertheless, we must remind them that the world witnesses the undeniable truth that the Palestinians are deprived of basic freedoms, such as the ability to move freely or live peacefully in their own homes, due to the constant fear of brutal attacks, starvation, and more. Hence, their longing for unearned praise is akin to an armed robber pretending to be generous with the riches they have stolen, just like how we witness the Zionists seizing land and bestowing it upon their supposed favored race. Nevertheless, despite their wickedness being as clear as daylight, they object to being labeled as colonialists, even while they have persistently oppress the native inhabitants and incessantly confiscating their belongings for more than seven decades. It is completely understandable why Netanyahu expresses the intention of genocide, given all of this behavior. Read here: https://abuiyaad.com/a/amalekite-genocide-doctrine-gaza

The entire world observed Netanyahu’s remarks, however, supporters of the Zionists in the United States and other places argue that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defence Minister Yoav Gallant are not responsible for crimes against humanity. Anyone who suggests otherwise is labelled as a “white-collar anti-Semite,” as seen in the comments made by Evangelical Pastor Johnnie Moore.

The Zionists’ American supporters, despite their desperate attempts and manipulation, can no longer conceal the truth. These manipulators not only provide weapons and intelligence to the Zionists but also aid them in prolonging their deceitful actions. They constantly seek to apologise for the IDF’s atrocities while using Hamas as a reckless distraction. Additionally, there exist certain factions who are unwilling to publicly disassociate themselves from Netanyahu due to concerns about jeopardising their personal finances. Therefore, they opt to remain silent as this self-serving wrongdoer, psychopath, and power-hungry individual continues to harm innocent women and children under the guise of combating Hamas and defending themselves. A person is deeply disturbed by the evident timidity and greed of these ideologues as they allow Netanyahu to put himself in situations where he must resort to evasive language to shirk his responsibilities. Therefore, whether Netanyahu is permitted to perpetuate his acts of genocide or not has now become a matter that clearly distinguishes between individuals of integrity and those who have forsaken their honour, despite their desperate desire to be seen as champions of justice and fairness. They will never make a decision that contradicts Netanyahu’s preferences or demands. Netanyahu himself has not aided his cause, as evidenced by his use of genocidal rhetoric while citing distorted and abrogated religious texts. However, some individuals vociferously defend him, rather they cowardly or deceitfully pay homage to him for his alleged efforts to minimise civilian casualties, dismissing all valid accusations of genocide or arrest warrants against him as unhelpful or even anti-Semitic. It is truly astonishing how some of these American and Western ideologues strive to be seen as champions of human dignity, yet they continue to support Netanyahu despite his actions. He has been responsible for the bombing and starvation of innocent Palestinian civilians in Gaza, while also attempting to suppress any organisation that exposes his war crimes. His intelligence agencies have been deployed to pressure, smear, and even allegedly threaten those who investigate his crimes. Surprisingly, certain Western and American journalists, demagogues, ideologues, and rabble-rousers argue that those pursuing Netanyahu should have trusted his Zionist government’s ability to investigate and prosecute its own war criminals, rather than seeking arrest warrants for him and Yoav Gallant. Meanwhile, Netanyahu persists in weaponising charges of “terrorism” against anyone who supports the rights of Palestinians. Despite all of this, Netanyahu claims that he and his followers represent the forces of enlightenment – a pitiful form of psychological warfare that demonstrates the expansion of the battleground beyond mere physical clashes. His objective is to crush the morale and determination of an entire nation, and this calculated campaign was initiated by Netanyahu even before the 7th of October. His deceitful fabrications and distortions have been evident for many years, as he aligned himself with the most notorious deceivers of the time who propagated the falsehood of Iraq possessing weapons of mass destruction. We say to those who support Netanyahu that Allah says:

وَلَا تَرْكَنُوا إِلَى الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا فَتَمَسَّكُمُ النَّارُ وَمَا لَكُم مِّن دُونِ اللَّهِ مِنْ أَوْلِيَاءَ ثُمَّ لَا تُنصَرُونَ

And incline not toward those who do wrong, lest the Fire should touch you, and you have no protectors other than Allah, nor you would then be helped. (Hud: 113)

Nevertheless, irrespective of the precise moment and method by which Netanyahu’s reign of terror will be halted, we beseech Allah to envelop him in divine retribution from every conceivable angle. Yet, amidst our fervent prayers, we must not overlook the fundamental causes of our own vulnerabilities. Hence, it is imperative that we incessantly seek guidance from the erudite scholars of our Ummah during times of hardship and wholeheartedly endeavour to undertake all necessary measures that will restore our illustrious Ummah to its former glory. Imam Abdul Aziz Bin Baz – may Allah have mercy upon him- continued…..

When we know the disease, which is evident and apparent, just as we know the prevalence of ignorance, the lack of pursuit of knowledge and understanding of religion, turning away from the knowledge of the Shariah, the contentment with worldly sciences that merely serve as qualifications for employment, albeit feeble and inadequate sciences that only equip individuals for work within their country and state, rather than pursuing knowledge that would render us self-sufficient and not reliant on the enemies and failing to fulfil the command of Allah and avoid His displeasure, then it becomes obligatory to address the disease through the knowledge of the Shariah. This is because only a few people pay attention to the beneficial knowledge conveyed by the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and only a few people prepare against the enemies so that the people and the state can attain independence from them. The disease is evident and apparent, encompassing several remedies for the issues that have emerged, such as ignorance, turning away from the religion, and being heedless until the fear of death arose, and worldly given precedence and (became) more desirable, Jihad became a frightening specter appealing to only a few people, the objective shifted from upholding the word of Allah to pursuing nationalism, patriotism, or other objectives unrelated to the elevation of Allah’s word, instead of manifesting one’s religion and eradicating anything that opposes it.

Apart from what Allah wills (to remain in terms of strength, adherence to the religion, etc), the preparation is feeble or non-existent, and the objectives are misguided. Thus, the path to success and advancement in confronting the enemies, the absence of weakness, the path to prosperity and success, reaching high positions and noble aspirations, and prevailing over enemies, all lies in seeking beneficial knowledge, and pursuing understanding in the religion, prioritising Allah’s pleasure over His wrath, fulfilling obligations, avoiding prohibitions, sincerely repenting for past sins and shortcomings, complete cooperation between the state and the people in obeying Allah and His Messenger, refraining from what is forbidden, and preparing oneself as Allah says:

وَأَعِدُّوا لَهُمْ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ مِنْ قُوَّةٍ

“And prepare against them whatever you are able of power” [Al-Anfal 60]

There must be physical and material preparation, as well as preparation in all other aspects so that we can depend on what Allah has bestowed upon us rather than what our enemies possess. It is very difficult to confront our enemies with what they possess. And if the enemy prevents you from acquiring weapons, what will you fight with, (especially when) coupled with weak insight and lack of knowledge? Therefore, it is crucial to prepare to the best of our abilities, and it would be enough as long as Muslims strive not to rely on their enemies, engage in Jihad against them, and safeguard their nations, with the intention of establishing Allah’s command and seeking the hereafter as much as possible. This is because Allah says:

وَأَعِدُّوا لَهُمْ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ مِنْ قُوَّةٍ

“And prepare against them whatever you are able of power”.

Allah did did not say “And prepare against them like their power” because this may not be possible.
If the Muslims are truthful, unite, and prepare as much as they can against their enemies, and support the religion ordained by Allah, then Allah will help and grant them victory, exalted be He. He will place them in front of their enemies and above their enemies, not beneath them. Allah says, and He is truthful in His words and promises:

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِن تَنصُرُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ يَنصُرْكُمْ وَيُثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَكُمْ

O you who believe, if you aid (the cause of) Allāh, He will aid you (against your enemy) and make your foothold firm (upon faith and upon the straight path and against your enemy). https://www.thenoblequran.com/q/#/search/47_7

Allah is not powerless or in need of people, but He tests His righteous servants with the wicked, to make known between the truthful and the liars, the ones who strive in His path and others, otherwise, He is capable of supporting His allies and destroying His enemies without war, without the need for Jihad, preparation, and other means, as He says:

ذَلِكَ وَلَوْ يَشَاءُ اللَّهُ لانْتَصَرَ مِنْهُمْ وَلَكِنْ لِيَبْلُوَ بَعْضَكُمْ بِبَعْضٍ

That (is what you are commanded) and if Allāh had so willed, He could have punished (and destroyed) them (without you). But (He commanded you to fight against them) in order to test some of you with others. https://www.thenoblequran.com/q/#/verse/47/4

In Surah Al-Anfal, Allah says regarding the story of the battle of Badr:

[وَمَا جَعَلَهُ اللَّهُ إِلا بُشْرَى وَلِتَطْمَئِنَّ بِهِ قُلُوبُكُمْ – Allah made it only as glad tidings, and that your hearts be at rest therewith. [Al-Anfal. 10]

This means that He provided them with reinforcements from the angels. Allah says:

And there is no victory except from Allah. Verily, Allah is All-Mighty, All-Wise.

Similarly, in a verse from Surah Al-Imran, Allah says:

وَمَا جَعَلَهُ ٱللَّهُ إِلَّا بُشْرَىٰ لَكُمْ وَلِتَطْمَئِنَّ قُلُوبُكُم بِهِۦ وَمَا ٱلنَّصْرُ إِلَّا مِنْ عِندِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْحَكِيمِ

Allah made it not but as a message of good news for you and as an assurance to your hearts. And there is no victory except from Allah, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise. [Aal Imran. 126]

Therefore, victory is from Him, the Almighty and Wise, but He, glorified be He, sends reinforcements through the angels, the provision of weapons, wealth, and a large number of troops are all reasons for victory, good tidings, and reassurance. However, victory is not solely dependent on these factors. Allah, glorified be He, says:

كَمْ مِنْ فِئَةٍ قَلِيلَةٍ غَلَبَتْ فِئَةً كَثِيرَةً بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ وَاللَّهُ مَعَ الصَّابِرِينَ

“How often a small group overcame a mighty host by Allah’s Leave?” And Allah is with As-Sabirin (the patient ones, etc.). [Al-Baqarah. 249]

At the Battle of Badr, they were three hundred and thirteen, with little weaponry and riding animals. It is well-known that they possessed seventy camels, which they took turns riding. Their arsenal was meagre, with only two horses among them. On the other hand, the disbelievers’ army numbered around a thousand, equipped with immense power and numerous weapons. However, when Allah desired their defeat, He vanquished them, rendering their strength and soldiers useless. Despite their feeble forces, Allah defeated the thousand with the three hundred and thirteen. Through the facilitation, victory, and support of Allah, they emerged victorious, capturing seventy disbelievers and eliminating seventy others, while the remaining disbelievers were defeated. All of this is from Allah’s signs and His aid. On the day of the Confederates, the disbelievers embarked upon a military expedition against the city of Madina with ten thousand fighters from various Arab tribes including the Quraysh and others. They besieged the city and the Prophet dug the trench, which was one of the reasons for the decisive victory. They stayed for a while besieging the city, and then Allah removed them without any fighting. He instilled fear in their hearts and unleashed winds and hosts upon them until they had no choice but to retreat defeated to their lands. All of this was from Allah’s aid and assistance, Glorified and Exalted is He. Then they were abandoned and did not attack the Prophet in Madina, rather he attacked them on the day of Hudaybiyyah, and the famous treaty was concluded. Then he attacked them in the eighth year in Ramadan and Allah opened Makkah for him. After that, people entered into the religion in large numbers.

The intended message is that Allah, the Exalted, holds the key to victory and serves as the protector of His followers. However, Allah, the Exalted, has prescribed certain means to attain victory, with the most significant being obedience to Allah and His Messenger. A crucial aspect of this obedience is that you acquire knowledge and understanding of the religion so that you are acquainted with Allah’s Judgement and His Shariah in the context of Jihad against your enemy, in preparing yourself for your enemy, in refraining from engaging in what Allah has prohibited, in fulfilling the obligations set by Allah, in adhering to the boundaries established by Allah, in collaborating with fellow Muslims, in offering valuable contributions from oneself and one’s wealth in the cause of Allah, and in supporting the religion ordained by Allah and elevating His word, and not merely (doing so) for a specific country or nationality.

This is the way and the path to victory over the enemies for the leader, the subjects, the elder, and the youth, through religious education and understanding of the religion ordained by Allah. Then, acting accordingly and abandoning what we are doing that Allah has forbidden. Allah says:

“Indeed, Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves” [Ar-Ra’d: 11]

Therefore, whoever wants victory, support, and the elevation of Allah’s word must change what they are doing in terms of sins and disobedience that is in opposition to Allah’s command. Your Lord, Exalted and glorified be He, says:

Allah has promised those among you who believe, and do righteous good deeds, that He will certainly grant them succession to (the present rulers) in the earth, as He granted it to those before them, and that He will grant them the authority to practice their religion, that which He has chosen for them (i.e. Islam). And He will surely give them in exchange a safe security after their fear (provided) they (believers) worship Me and do not associate anything (in worship) with Me. But whoever disbelieved after this, they are the Fasiqun (rebellious, disobedient to Allah). [An-Nur. 55]
Allah did not say: “Allah has promised those who are affiliated with Quraysh or Arabs or those who build palaces and extract petroleum… etc., but rather linked the promise to sincere faith and righteous deeds whether they are Arabs or non-Arabs.

These are the factors for victory and succession on earth, not Arabism or non-Arabism, but rather sincere faith in Allah and His Messenger and righteous deeds. This is the reason, the condition, and the axis around which it revolves. Whoever adheres to it will have empowerment, succession on earth, and victory over enemies. Whoever deviates from that is not guaranteed victory, safety, or honour; rather, a disbeliever may triumph over another disbeliever, a criminal over another criminal, or a hypocrite over another hypocrite. However, the guaranteed victory promised by Allah to His believing servants over their enemies is only achieved through the conditions set by Him, and the qualities He has clarified, which are sincere faith and righteous deeds. This is how the religion of Allah is victorious, as He has says:

وَلَيَنْصُرَنَّ اللَّهُ مَنْ يَنْصُرُهُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَقَوِيٌّ عَزِيزٌ
الَّذِينَ إِنْ مَكَّنَّاهُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ أَقَامُوا الصَّلاةَ وَآتَوُا الزَّكَاةَ وَأَمَرُوا بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَنَهَوْا عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ

Verily, Allah will help those who help His (Cause). Truly, Allah is All-Strong, All-Mighty. Those (Muslim rulers) who, if We give them power in the land, (they) order for Iqamat-as-Salat. [i.e. to perform the five compulsory congregational Salat (prayers) (the males in mosques)], to pay the Zakat and they enjoin Al-Ma’ruf (i.e. Islamic Monotheism and all that Islam orders one to do), and forbid Al-Munkar (i.e. disbelief, polytheism and all that Islam has forbidden) [i.e. they make the Quran as the law of their country in all the spheres of life]. And with Allah rests the end of (all) matters (of creatures). [Al-Hajj. 40-41]

This is the victory of the religion ordained by Allah. Whoever enjoins what is good and forbids what is evil has indeed achieved the victory of the religion ordained by Allah. This includes fulfilling the obligations set by Allah and abstaining from what Allah has prohibited. And Allah, the Most High, says:

كُنْتُمْ خَيْرَ أُمَّةٍ أُخْرِجَتْ لِلنَّاسِ تَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَتَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ وَتُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ

You [true believers in Islamic Monotheism, and real followers of Prophet Muhammad SAW and his Sunnah (legal ways, etc.)] are the best of peoples ever raised up for mankind; you enjoin Al-Ma’ruf (i.e. Islamic Monotheism and all that Islam has ordained) and forbid Al-Munkar (polytheism, disbelief, and all that Islam has forbidden), and you believe in Allah. [Aal Imran 110]

And He, Glorified be He, says:

وَلْتَكُنْ مِنْكُمْ أُمَّةٌ يَدْعُونَ إِلَى الْخَيْرِ وَيَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ وَأُولَئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ

Let there arise out of you a group of people inviting to all that is good (Islam), enjoining Al-Ma’ruf (i.e. Islamic Monotheism and all that Islam orders one to do) and forbidding Al-Munkar (polytheism and disbelief and all that Islam has forbidden). And it is they who are the successful. [Aal Imran 104]

The righteous who are to receive success, support, and a praiseworthy outcome are those who do good deeds, enjoin what is good, forbid what is evil, establish prayer, give charity, and aid Allah’s cause. They are the ones mentioned in the verse:

وَكَانَ حَقًّا عَلَيْنَا نَصْرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ

“And (as for) the believers it was incumbent upon Us to help (them). [Ar-Rum. 47]

The cure is clear and the treatment is evident, but where are those who seek the cure? Where are those who seek the treatment? And where are those who apply it?!

This is the obligation of the rulers, the scholars, and the influential and important personalities everywhere, and in all Islamic countries if they are sincere in calling to Islam; by establishing prayer, giving zakat, preserving that, enjoining good, forbidding evil, pursuing understanding in the religion, reforming curricula in schools at all levels, and also cooperating in unity against enemies and uniting with sincerity to Allah in work and truthfulness in it, and intending the Hereafter. By doing so, they deserve victory from Allah and His support, as our righteous predecessors did, which is not hidden from the people of knowledge. Just yesterday, when the reviver of the signposts of Islam in the twelfth century witnessed the great ignorance, the nullification of rulings of the Shariah, the abundance of ignorance in the peninsula and elsewhere, the scarcity of callers to Allah, and the division of the people of this peninsula into small states without guidance and knowledge, he believed (or saw) that it was his duty to call people to Allah, to warn them of the dangers they faced, and to strive to unite them on the truth under one leader who would establish the command of Allah among them. So, he diligently worked towards this goal, calling people to Allah, contacting rulers, writing letters about pure Islamic monotheism and the implementation of Allah’s law, and the abandonment of polytheism. He did not cease being patient and steadfast in his mission, seeking reward from Allah after studying and gaining knowledge of religion from scholars. He then focused on calling people to Allah and Jihad, starting in Huraymila, then Al-Aynah, before moving to Diriyah where he pledged allegiance to Muhammad Bin Saud for jihad and establishing the command of Allah. They all believed in this cause, united, and fought against their weaknesses until Allah granted them victory. They proclaimed pure Islamic monotheism, called people to truth and guidance, and implemented Allah’s law among His servants. Due to their sincerity, reliance on Allah, and good intentions, Allah supported and aided them, and their stories are known to many with even the slightest insight.

Then, after the period of stagnation and division that occurred, King Abdulaziz, may Allah have mercy on him, emerged and took charge of this matter with diligence and zeal. He sought the help of Allah and then turned to the people of knowledge, faith, and insight. Allah supported and aided him, and united for him the word of the Muslims in this peninsula on one word, upon judging by Allah’s Shariah and Jihad in the cause of Allah, until its affair was straightened, thus this peninsula (from its north to its south, east, and west) united on truth and guidance with the means of truthfulness, Jihad, and elevation of the word of Allah – the Exalted. The point is that there are many examples of that. Similarly, Salah al-Din al-Ayyubi’s story is well-known, as is that of Mahmud Zanki. The point is that our righteous predecessors, due to being truthful in their jihad during the time of their Prophet and afterward, Allah honoured them and elevated their status. They conquered the two great kingdoms – the Persian and the Roman Kingdom in the Levant and its surroundings. Then, those who followed them in the religion ordained by Allah, Allah granted them victory due to their sincerity and unity in upholding the word of Allah. Subsequently, at various times, individuals emerged with truthfulness and what they possessed of sincerity, so Allah supported and helped them against their enemies according to their level of sincerity, striving, and sacrifice.

The Almighty, Allah, is the one who granted victory to the early and later believers. He is the one who supports those who aid His cause and forsakes those who forsake Him, as Allah says:

أَلَيْسَ اللَّهُ بِكَافٍ عَبْدَهُ

“Is not Allah sufficient for His Servant?” [Az-Zumar: 36]

And He, glorified be He, says:

وَإِنْ تَصْبِرُوا وَتَتَّقُوا لا يَضُرُّكُمْ كَيْدُهُمْ شَيْئًا

“And if you are patient and fear Allah, their plot will not harm you at all.” [Aal-Imran. 120]

And the Almighty says:
كَمْ مِنْ فِئَةٍ قَلِيلَةٍ غَلَبَتْ فِئَةً كَثِيرَةً بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ وَاللَّهُ مَعَ الصَّابِرِينَ

“How often a small group overcame a mighty host by Allah’s Leave?” And Allah is with As-Sabirin (the patient ones, etc.). [Al-Baqarah: 249]

However, the calamity is due to our own doings as Allah -The Almighty says:

وَمَا أَصَابَكُمْ مِنْ مُصِيبَةٍ فَبِمَا كَسَبَتْ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَيَعْفُو عَنْ كَثِيرٍ

“And whatever misfortune befalls you, it is because of what your hands have earned. And He pardons much.” [Ash-Shurah 30].

The calamity occurred from the Muslims’ weakness, laziness, ignorance, seeking immediate gains, love of the worldly life (at the expense of one’s religious well-being), fear of death, neglecting Allah’s commands, forsaking the prayers, following desires, prioritising worldly life, engaging in forbidden acts, listening to obscene songs, and corrupters of the hearts and morals… and so on. Allah, allowed the Muslims to be overcome by their enemies through this and similar circumstances, as He says:

وَإِذَا أَرَدْنَا أَنْ نُهْلِكَ قَرْيَةً أَمَرْنَا مُتْرَفِيهَا فَفَسَقُوا فِيهَا فَحَقَّ عَلَيْهَا الْقَوْلُ فَدَمَّرْنَاهَا تَدْمِيرًا

And when We decide to destroy a town (population), We (first) send a definite order (to obey Allah and be righteous) to those among them [or We (first) increase in number those of its population] who are given the good things of this life. Then, they transgress therein, and thus the word (of torment) is justified against it (them). Then We destroy it with complete destruction. [Al-Israa. 16]
We ask Allah- The Almighty- to favour us and all Muslims and their leaders with repentance and adherence to His commandments, cooperation in righteousness and piety, and preparation against our enemies with the necessary things, the pursuit of understanding in the religion, patience in following what is pleasing to Him and distance from His displeasure. We also ask Him, the Exalted, to protect us all from all the pitfalls of trials and tribulations, and the causes of His wrath, and to support the religion He has ordained and elevate His word; frustrate His enemies and unite the Muslims upon truth and guidance. May He rectify the affairs of our leaders and grant them insight. Truly, He is All-Hearer, Ever Near (to all things by His perfect knowledge).

May Allah send salutations (of peace and blessings upon) our master Muhammad, his family, and companions.

The End

Salafi Shaikh Fawzaan on Jihad in our times and the guidelines of Jihad according to Islam

[2] The major catalysts behind the Ummah’s weakness and deterioration- By Imam Abdul Aziz Bin Baz

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Arabic text: weakness_part2

Imam Abdul Aziz Bin Baz [may Allah have mercy upon him] continued….

(This reformation based on knowledge) also involves the presence of industry in Muslim nations, readiness, and the strength that each person can muster up through all means so that he does not need his enemy and the enemy is aware of their level of readiness and preparation, which will make the enemy fearful and ensure that he treats him fairly, upholds his rights and remain in his rightful place. (Also) to be physically ready and not overindulge in (luxuries) that detract from fighting the enemy and weaken one’s strength and heart, so that one is strengthened for Jihad.

The pursuit of understanding in the religion also offers sufficient information (or knowledge) about the afterlife, paradise, its bliss, palaces, and the immense goodness within it; and about the hell fire, its torment, punishments, and the various types of suffering it entails, thus it instils vigour in hearts to seek the hereafter, detachment from worldly desires, preparation for the enemy, and eagerness for Jihad and martyrdom in Allah’s path. Similarly, the pursuit of understanding in the religion gives complete zeal to society and leaders in everything pleasing and beloved to Allah, while steering clear of anything that may incur His anger. It gives the hearts a strong yearning for unity with other Muslims, collaboration against the enemy, the enforcement of Allah’s command, judging by His law, and abiding by the limits he has ordained. Consequently, arises cooperation upon all that is beloved to Allah and His servants. This is because beneficial knowledge prompts action, solidarity, mutual advice, and collaboration for goodness. It also gives them complete eagerness to fulfil obligations, shun prohibitions, yearn for the Hereafter, and not fear death in the pursuit of truth, in Jihad for the sake of Allah, in combatting the enemy, and receiving one’s rights from him.

With knowledge, souls, and wealth become insignificant in seeking Allah’s pleasure and elevating the word of Allah, liberating Muslims from the clutches of their enemies, delivering them from various types of afflictions, rescuing the oppressed from the hands of their enemies, preserving the existence of the Muslims and their assets, so that their countries and rights do not diminish. However, if ignorance prevails, all these things, the rights, the goodness, information (related to different sciences and subject matters), the sacrifices, and the insignificance given to lives and wealth in the path truth will be lost, as the poet said:

ما يبلغ الأعداء من جـاهل
ما يبلغ الجاهل من نفسه

“What the enemies come to know about the ignorant is not known to the ignorant person about himself”.

Ignorance is a chronic disease that kills the hearts and perceptions, weakens bodies and strength, and make its people resemble animals that only care about the desires of their stomachs, private parts and bellies. Anything beyond that is just a continuation of their desire for houses and clothing. The ignorant person weakens his heart and perceptions, and his insight is diminished. He has no aspirations or desires beyond his immediate desires and needs. It is narrated in a hadith that was reported by Ahmad and others with a good chain from Thawban, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Prophet- peace and blessings of Allah be upon him – said: “The nations are about to gather against you, just as diners gather on a plate”. It was said: “O Allah’s Messenger! Would be because of our small number?” He said: “No, but you are like the foam of the flood. The awe the enemies had for you will be removed from their hearts and Wahn is placed in your hearts.” They said: “O Allah’s Messenger! What is Wahn?” He said: “Love of the worldly life and hatred of death.”

The “Wahn” highlighted in the hadith stems from the ignorance through which they have become like the foam of a flood. They do not possess insight into what is obligated to them because of this ignorance through which they have reached this state. They have been overcome by “Wahn” and it has settled in their hearts, so they are unable to proceed towards higher stations, engage in Jihad for the sake of Allah, and elevate His word. That is because their love for the worldly life and its desires, such as food, drink, clothing, housing, and other things have hindered them from seeking high goals and from Jihad in the path of Allah, fearing that these things will escape them.

Similarly, their stinginess has driven them to only spend wealth on these desires, and this ignorance has deprived them of the righteous and influential leadership that is solely concerned with elevating the word of Allah, participating in Jihad for the sake of Allah, establishing the supremacy of the Muslims, protecting them from their enemies, preparing in every way and by every means to preserve the religion of the Muslims, protect and elevate it, as well as safeguarding the lands of the Muslims, and their lives and offspring from their enemies.

The harms of ignorance are great and its ramifications are catastrophic, as demonstrated by the Prophet’s depiction of the Muslims’ humiliation in front of their enemies as being like the foam of a flood; and that the reason for this is due to the removal of the awe from the hearts of the enemies towards them: meaning that neither do their enemies fear nor value them due to what they know regarding their ignorance, the pursuit of worldly things and attachment to them. The enemy maximizes strength, activity, high ambition, and great sacrifice for the sake of its principle; so when the enemy sees that this potential opponent does not have this ambition, but rather is concerned with his desires and immediate share of worldly things, he gives him some of that until he weakens his strength and distracts him from thinking about fighting him due to preoccupation with the love of the worldly life and indulging in desires.

“Wahn” has afflicted the hearts, except for those whom Allah wills (to be unaffected). It has prevailed over most of them, except for the few whom your Lord has shown mercy upon. They have mostly shown weakness in the face of their enemies, and their enemies no longer fear them. Their enemies no longer consider them important or treat them fairly, as they are aware of their weakness, lack of strength, protective jealousy, and patience for battle. Furthermore, they lack the support and preparation needed for such situations. Consequently, the enemy belittles them, disregards them, and treats them as slaves or subjects. Except for those whom your Lord has shown mercy upon, they are engrossed in the love of worldly life and avoid anything that may lead to death. They are eager to fulfil their desires by any means necessary, cautious of death and seek treatment and medication for every small and big ailment out of fear of death. They are also careful to avoid anything that may cause death or jeopardize their satisfaction with these desires.

Whoever aspires for the hereafter, to elevate the word of Allah and Jihad for the sake of Allah, their state should not be like this. In the events that unfolded during the time of our pious predecessors, under the leadership of our Prophet, peace be upon him, and his companions, and those who followed their path thereafter, in their acts of Jihad, preparations, and endurance of fatigue and harm, they serve as examples and reminders for us with regards to elevating the word of Allah, Jihad for His sake, save our lands and our people from the hands of our enemies, with patience, forbearance, striving, preferring the hereafter, giving wealth and oneself for Jihad for the sake of Allah, training in Jihad and fighting, eagerness for toughness, patience, and forbearance, always keeping the hereafter in mind, giving concern to everything that would aid in Jihad against the enemies, enduring it with patience, cooperating and uniting in order to achieve the goal of elevating the word of Allah and saving the Muslims from the plots of their enemies.

[1] The major catalysts behind the Ummah’s weakness and deterioration- By Imam Abdul Aziz Bin Baz

Arabic text: weakness_part1

Imam Abdul Aziz Bin Baz [may Allah have mercy upon him] stated:

All praise and thanks are due to Allah, the Lord of the entire existence, and the (commendable final) outcome is for the righteous. May peace and blessings be bestowed on His servant and messenger – the one He chose, declared trustworthy, and entrusted with His divine message, and the most excellent among His creations, our Prophet, leader, and master, Muhammad, the son of Abdullah, the son of Abdul-Muttalib. May peace and blessings be upon his family (the believers among them), all his companions (without any exceptions), and all those who follow his path and are guided by his guidance until the end of time. To proceed:

Indeed, Muslim intellectuals, individuals with a strong sense of protective jealousy for Islam, and those who deeply ponder over the well-being of the Muslim Ummah have expressed great concern about the current state of Muslims and the factors that have contributed to it. This issue has consumed their thoughts, prompting them to reflect extensively on the causes of Muslim weakness, trailing behind their adversaries, their differing and lack of unity, and the factors that have allowed their enemies to overcome them until they took some of their lands. After acquaintance with clear reasons, they also directed their attention toward identifying the solutions for these causes that led to the regress and weakness, which are also well known. However, it is essential to spread and clarify this information, as describing the disease and its treatment is one of the greatest factors in attaining a cure and well-being. Indeed, it is appropriate for a patient to take charge of administering the medication for their illness when they are aware of both the nature of the disease and its treatment. This is the nature of a rational human being who loves (or values) life and strives to be free from diseases. He pays attention to familiarising himself with the disease and its cure.

However, some people may find themselves overwhelmed by the illness to the extent that they become pleased with it and derive satisfaction from it, eventually losing sight of the reality of their situation. Consequently, they do not care about those who describe the cure for them because the disease has become a source of comfort and a habitual way of life, thus leading them to persist in their condition due to a distortion in their mental state, a lack of insight, and the overpowering influence of their base desires on their intellect, heart, and behaviours, as is the case for most people when it comes to religious cures and treatments. The majority, indeed, derive pleasure from their illnesses and evil deeds, which have weakened them, impeded their progress towards beneficial actions, and rendered them oblivious to the true nature of the disease, its repercussions, and its consequences in both this life and the hereafter. They do not seek remedy, nor do they display any enthusiasm towards it, even when it is described and explained to them, even when it is readily available, for it holds no significance to them. The cause of this lies solely in the potency of the ailment, the contentment of the soul with it, the concealment of its harm, and the absence of lofty aspirations to attain lofty objectives.

The scholars, individuals with bright thoughts, and those with profound insight and experience have clarified the state of the nations in both the present era and the past, along with the factors contributing to the weakness and the Muslims being delayed in (attaining beneficial things). They have also clarified the path of the effective remedies and the outcomes if properly utilised. The causes of weakness, setbacks, and the enemies prevailing can be traced back to a multitude of factors, with one primary factor giving rise to several others. This key factor is ignorance; ignorance concerning Allah and the religion He has prescribed, and the consequences that overwhelmed the majority, thus knowledge became scarce and ignorance prevailed. Due to this ignorance, factors, and reasons arose, such as a love of the worldly life and a fear of death (at the expense of one religious welfare), neglecting prayers and succumbing to vain desires, failing to prepare for their enemies, and contentment with receiving necessities from them; the lack of lofty aspiration in seeking after their need from lands and resources. Also, from this ignorance arose division, differences, and the absence of (sound) unity, cohesion, and cooperation.

Except what Allah willed (to remain of strength, virtue etc), weakness in the face of the enemy arose, along with delay in all matters, due to these perilous factors, their repercussions and outcomes, such as inclination towards forbidden desires, preoccupation with what hinders a person from guidance and Allah’s path, lack of preparation against the enemy in terms of industry and sufficient weapons that would frighten the enemy and help in fighting and striving against him, taking what is rightfully ours, failure to prepare physically for Jihad, not spending wealth on what is necessary to prepare against the enemy, and safeguarding against his evil, defending the religion and the homeland. As a result of this disease, emerged the eagerness to acquire worldly possessions through any path and accumulate them through any means. Every individual became concerned only with themselves and what is related to their country, even if it meant disregarding their religion or most of it.

This is the situation of the majority, and it is prevalent in the nations that ascribe to Islam at present; rather, it is correct to state that this is the reality, except that which Allah wills concerning some individuals, and those who are protected in a manner that is not entirely complete and required in all aspects (of steadfastness). This shows that the greatest cause (of this situation) is ignorance about Allah and the religion He has prescribed, as well as (ignorance about) the realities that should be acted upon and adopted, (which can be inferred from) the saying of the Prophet [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] in the authentic hadith: “Whomever Allah intends good for, He gives him understanding of the religion”, along with the verses and hadiths that highlight the evil of ignorance, its evil ramifications and outcomes, and what follows from that. The Quran is replete with denunciations of ignorance and its followers, and cautions against it, as Allah – The Most High – states:

وَلَكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ يَجْهَلُونَ

“But most of them behave ignorantly”. [Al-An’am 111]

“And most of them have no understanding”. [Al-Ma’idah 103]

And other verses that demonstrate the condemnation of being ignorant about Allah, ignorance about the religion He has ordained, and ignorance about the enemy, and what should be prepared in terms of readiness, unity, and cooperation.

These things that have arisen from ignorance have led to division, differing, inclination toward vain desires, neglect of what Allah has obligated, lack of prioritising the Hereafter, and lack of truthful affiliation with it; rather, the majority only cares about the immediate worldly life, as stated in the noble verse from Allah’s Book:

كَلا بَلْ تُحِبُّونَ الْعَاجِلَةَ
وَتَذَرُونَ الْآخِرَةَ

But (you) love the present life of this world, and leave (neglect) the Hereafter. [Al-Qiyamah 20-21]

And as Allah says:

فَأَمَّا مَنْ طَغَى
وَآثَرَ الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا
فَإِنَّ الْجَحِيمَ هِيَ الْمَأْوَى

Then as for he who transgressed, and preferred the life of the world (over working for the hereafter), then indeed, Hellfire will be the abode (for him). [An-Nazi’at 37-39] etc

Except what Allah wills (to remain of virtue), these debacles and evil ramifications, such as the love of worldly life and the hatred of death (at the expense of one’s religious wellbeing), inclination toward vain desires, neglecting obligations and the prayers, and failing to prepare for the enemy in all aspects, as well as division, differing, lack of cohesion and cooperation, all arise from ignorance.

Therefore, the saying of the Prophet [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] that “Whomever Allah wishes good for, He grants him understanding in the religion” highlights that one of the signs of goodness and happiness for individuals, societies, and nations is to possess understanding in religion. Indeed, striving to understand the religion, to learn and gain insight into what is obligated to them concerning this life and the Hereafter are among the most important obligations. This is a sign that Allah wishes goodness for them. Part of this is the fulfilment of the obligations ordained by Allah, abstaining from what Allah has prohibited, and adhering to the boundaries set by Allah, in addition to making preparations for the enemies.

What happened to those who came before Zionist Despot Netanyahu in their insatiable quest for political survival, while completely disregarding Iman and fair play?!

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Allah [The Exalted] says:

(They took to flight because of their) arrogance in the land and their plotting of evil. But the evil plot encompasses only him who makes it. Then, can they expect anything (else), but the Sunnah (way of dealing) of the peoples of old? So no change will you find in Allah’s Sunnah (way of dealing), and no turning off will you find in Allah’s Sunnah (way of dealing). Have they not travelled in the land, and seen what was the end of those before them, and they were superior to them in power? Allah is not such that anything in the heavens or the earth escapes Him. Verily, He is All-Knowing, All-Omnipotent. And if Allah were to punish men for that which they earned, He would not leave a moving (living) creature on the surface of the earth, but He gives them respite to an appointed term, and when their term comes, then verily, Allah is Ever All-Seer of His slaves. [Surah Fatir. Ayaat 43-45]

It is said that Netanyahu is a political survivor!!! We say that he is just like the tyrants of yore, who spent all their time and energy trying to sow mistrust and contempt in the world, along with their cronies and those who made them look good. When he and his cronies say one thing publicly and secretly plan behind closed doors or buy time to protect their future corrupt objectives to consolidate their insatiable lust for power and their desire to take away the rights of the Palestinians, this is not a new phenomenon; rather, it is the same tactic used by the disbelieving tyrants of the past. When the disbelieving tyrant Fir’awn and his followers confronted the prophet Musa [peace be upon him], they first gathered in secret to plot before attempting to mislead the public with their false accusations against Musa and Harun [peace be upon them]. Allah states:

Then they debated with one another what they must do, and they kept their talk secret. They said: “Verily! These are two magicians. Their object is to drive you out from your land with magic and overcome your chiefs and nobles. So devise your plot, and then assemble in line. And whoever overcomes this day will be indeed successful”. [Surah Taha. Ayaat 62-64]

Allah [The Exalted] says:

O you who believe! When you hold secret counsel, do it not for sin and wrong-doing, and disobedience towards the Messenger (Muhammad) but do it for Al-Birr (righteousness) and Taqwa (virtues and piety), and fear Allah unto Whom you shall be gathered. Secret counsels (conspiracies) are only from Shaitan (Satan), so that he may cause grief to the believers. But he cannot harm them in the least, except as Allah permits, and in Allah let the believers put their trust. [Surah Al-Mujadilah. Ayaat 9-10]

Netanyahu’s genuine motives frequently unveil themselves in clandestine recordings, wherein he openly discusses his strategic stance against the Palestinians, a narrative that remains concealed until he garners support from his trusted confidants or until someone deceitfully downplays his words on his behalf. As for the heinous atrocities they brazenly perpetrate against the Palestinians that are under constant scrutiny, they persistently opt to refute, shamelessly deceive, or offer hollow pledges of launching an inquiry, asserting “The actions of a few soldiers or civilians do not align with the principles of the IDF or our nation,” all the while Netanyahu perpetuates the oppression of the Palestinians, or they deny all valid claims against them, call it an unfair comparison between themselves and others, and take clear positions against the fair play  ordained by Allah. The conduct of the despots from ancient times exemplified this refusal to accept responsibility for themselves and their cohorts, instead imposing arbitrary rules of conduct on others. Their accountability is dictated by their whims and desires, despite the world observing the glaring hypocrisy and double standards in their words and deeds. This hypocrisy is a constant feature of their international agenda, branding anyone who challenges it as uncouth, anti-Semitic, opposed to self-preservation, or deserving of a full-fledged psychological and cultural battle.

It is quite evident that any attempt to challenge their unethical ways is immediately branded as “the new antisemitism”, followed by subtle insinuations of harm toward those who dare to stand against them. They go as far as issuing a warning, “You ought to be concerned about your reputation as by going against us, you are transforming your establishment into an outcast institution, and you are only fuelling the flames of antisemitism that are rapidly engulfing the globe”. This tactic serves no purpose other than to evade responsibility. They employ a worn-out repertoire of propaganda, but in doing so, they inadvertently harm themselves, as anyone who has witnessed their transgressions recognises their profound delusion. To them, accountability implies that they have become a target, along with their associates, and serves as a warning to those who target them. Truly, this is a language reminiscent of the Mafia, not of individuals who uphold principles of fair play and virtuous morals as ordained by the Creator. Justice is exclusively reserved for those they have branded as criminals and misguided, despite the undeniable evidence of Netanyahu’s aggressive and intimidating behaviour, along with that of many of his supporters. Their actions blatantly prioritise their own desires and interests, disregarding any fair and equitable interactions as commanded by the Creator. Justice is selectively perceived and cherished by them solely when it serves their own agenda, and if their bullying tactics prove ineffective against their adversaries, they resort to public displays in an attempt to manipulate or pressure other influential political figures.

The elaborate mechanisms they have established and financed under the guise of promoting justice and accountability on a worldwide scale are selectively enforced, protecting their own interests above all else and disregarding the welfare of others. The unfolding drama is evident to all, casting a shadow over their purported international justice system, which they exploit to target others relentlessly. Netanyahu and his cohorts stand out as key figures in this relentless campaign. Those who possess political power and attempt to challenge this deep-rooted corruption can anticipate a rapid onslaught encompassing psychological, political, and material warfare against both themselves and their supporters. Moreover, they are likely to be branded as authoritarian, particularly if they advocate for justice for the Palestinians and an end to Netanyahu’s genocidal campaign. Instead of the Zionists, it is those who rightfully hold them accountable that bear the brunt of the barrage of anger, dissatisfaction, threats, and intimidation. The extensive discussion on the equitable implementation of justice has the potential to span numerous pages when thoroughly examined in light of the actions of Netanyahu and his cohorts, who provide unwavering military and political backing to sustain their oppressive treatment of the Palestinian people. However, the essence of this matter can be succinctly encapsulated by the profound words of Shaikh Salih Aala Ash-Shaikh [may Allah preserve him], as he eloquently elucidated the concocted laws devised by the global powers after the second world war. He said: “When a human being wishes to grant another person rights, he will not be free of desires, because the person who codifies laws, whatever they may be, will include their desires in them”. “Every ruling that contradicts the divine Islamic law must have been dominated by desires, and hence it is not correct. There is no doubt that desires hinder people from fulfilling rights in the way they should be fulfilled. As a result, since those principles (concerning equality and human rights) were founded on the opinions of individuals, so human desires, as well as the interests of the major powers and their desire to control weaker nations or countries with a high level of welfare, did interfere”. [1]

This is why we are witnessing something intriguing in our era with this notion of human rights, international law, genocide, ethnic cleansing, and other terms which some people exploit when it suits them, but turn a blind eye when it does not favour them. For example, if a weaker nation supported by certain major powers is attacked by another stronger nation, some ideologues emphasise the necessity of sovereignty and accuse their opponent of genocide, yet this is never important for them on behalf of Palestine! As a result, international law and human rights are employed unequally depending on who is affected – as a means of cheating against some and benefiting others. This intricate web of power is the very foundation upon which Netanyahu and his cohorts thrive. They are not mere political survivors, but rather, they embody the essence of oppression, willing to go to any lengths to subjugate others, all while disregarding the principles of fairness bestowed upon us by Allah. They emulate the tyrants of yore who employed cunning strategies, such as the incessant use of captivating slogans, placating their criminal allies, and skilfully evading accountability for the havoc they wreaked. They masterfully manipulated time, garnering support and captivating their nationalist base with a mesmerising political narrative. In their quest for dominance, they cunningly orchestrated conflicts and rivalries among their adversaries, sowing the seeds of violence and unrest. Throughout the annals of history, those accountable for such reprehensible conduct have consistently prioritised their vain desires and lusts. They deftly navigate the treacherous waters between their loyal adherents and formidable adversaries, adroitly evading the weight of their obligations. Such is the modus operandi of Netanyahu, devoid of any intellectual prowess or extraordinary brilliance. Instead, he simply treads the path of the accursed, insatiably hungry for power and control. Allah [The Exalted] says:

Verily, Fir’aun (Pharaoh) exalted himself in the land and made its people sects, weakening (oppressing) a group (i.e. Children of Israel) among them, killing their sons, and letting their females live. Verily, he was of the Mufsidoon]. [Surah Al-Qasas. Ayah 4]

[وَجَعَلَ أَهۡلَهَا شِيَعً۬ا – and made its people sects]- Meaning: Various organized and differentiated groups were established, and he effectively employed each group according to his desires within his kingdom. [2] He organised them into factions and various factions to assist him, and they complied with his wishes and followed his orders. [3] He organised them into separate groups, manipulated them according to his wicked desires, and dominated them as he pleased, utilising his strength and authority. [4] He organised them into various factions, leading them to follow his every wicked and corrupt desire, or he manipulated some to influence others to comply with his commands. Alternatively, he formed distinct groups under his control, assigning each group different tasks like construction, farming, excavation, and other laborious duties. Those who refused to work were punished, thus ensuring their obedience. Another method he employed was to create divisions among them, fueling animosity and discord to prevent them from uniting against him. [5]

[ إِنَّهُ ۥ كَانَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُفۡسِدِينَ – Verily, he was of the Mufsidoon]- Meaning: Those individuals whose intention is not to rectify either religious or worldly matters, and this was due to his corrupt behavior on the earth; [6] engaging unlawful killing and displaying defiance towards Allah.[7]

Nevertheless, it is common knowledge of the fate that befell Fir’awn, as no disbelieving despot throughout history has managed to evade the consequences of defying the commands of Allah, no matter the grandeur of his schemes or the might he wielded.

Allah [The Exalted] says:

Those before them indeed plotted, but Allah struck at the foundation of their building, and then the roof fell down upon them, from above them, and the torment overtook them from directions they did not perceive. Then, on the Day of Resurrection, He will disgrace them and will say: “Where are My (so-called) ‘partners’ concerning whom you used to disagree and dispute (with the believers, by defying and disobeying Allah)?” Those who have been given the knowledge (about the Torment of Allah for the disbelievers) will say: “Verily! Disgrace this Day and misery are upon the disbelievers. [Surah An-Nahl. Ayah 26-27]

The commentators explain that this is in reference to Namrood, who constructed a towering structure in an attempt to ascend to the heavens and challenge its dwellers. Subsequently, Allah dispatched a powerful wind that hurled the summit of the tower into the sea, causing the remainder to crumble. [8]

[قَدۡ مَڪَرَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡ – Those before them indeed plotted]- Meaning: (The plotters), in opposition to the messengers, utilised various cunning tactics to dismiss the messages they delivered and implemented extensive measures to safeguard their schemes.

[فَأَتَى ٱللَّهُ بُنۡيَـٰنَهُم مِّنَ ٱلۡقَوَاعِدِ – but Allah struck at the foundation of their building]– Meaning, an affair came to them from its basis and foundation [فَخَرَّ عَلَيۡہِمُ ٱلسَّقۡفُ مِن فَوۡقِهِمۡ – and then the roof fell down upon them, from above them]- Meaning, that which they built became a punishment for them.

[وَأَتَٮٰهُمُ ٱلۡعَذَابُ مِنۡ حَيۡثُ لَا يَشۡعُرُونَ – and the torment overtook them from directions they did not perceive]: Meaning, they thought that such a building would bring them benefits and protection, but instead, the punishment they faced came from the very structure they had created. This parable is among the finest examples of how Allah thwarts the schemes of His adversaries. They contemplated and analysed the teachings of the Messengers, only to deny them and fabricate false principles and rules, used them to reject the Messengers’ message, and employed deceitful tactics to cause distress and harm to both the Messengers and their followers. However, their plot backfired and turned into a source of evil against them. Ultimately, their own plan led to their destruction, as Allah says:

وَلَا يَحِيقُ الْمَكْرُ السَّيِّئُ إِلَّا بِأَهْلِهِ

But the evil plot encompasses only him who makes it]. [Surah Faatir. Ayah: 43]

This is with regards to this life, and the consequences in the hereafter will be even more humiliating. Due to this, Allah says: [ثُمَّ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَـٰمَةِ يُخۡزِيهِمۡ – Then, on the Day of Resurrection, He will disgrace them]. [9]

Verily, in the same manner as the unbelievers of yore persisted in their falsehoods and deceit, unwilling to cease their wrongdoing until they faced the consequences they had earned, similarly, Netanyahu and his cohorts persist in their ruinous ways. Deception and falsehood underpin all their strategies and self-preservation methods, yet they shall never succeed in fooling those who adhere to the divine guidance and the teachings of wise scholars throughout the ages until the end of time. Imam Ibn Al-Qayyim [may Allah have mercy upon him] stated: “The fact that whether a statement is lies and falsehood can sometimes be discerned from the statement itself, its contradictions, perplexity, and the clear indications that reveal its falsehood. Lies can be evident based on their reality, their appearance, and what is being concealed. It is sometimes known based on the circumstances of the utterer of the lie, as someone known for lying, wickedness, and deception will exhibit these traits in their words and actions. He does not utter a statement or engage in an action resembling that of a pious and truthful individual – someone free from all evil, deceit, lies, and wickedness. Instead, the sincere person’s heart, intentions, words, and actions mirror one another, while the liar’s heart, words, actions, and intentions also align”. [10]

Imam ibn Al-Qayyim’s statement, as cited above, accurately reflects the observations made by many regarding Netanyahu’s situation. He is not only known for his deceitfulness at present but also for being one of the shameless habitual liars who falsely claimed, in front of the entire world, that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction. This led to the tragic loss of hundreds of thousands of Iraqi lives. https://youtu.be/fpQdg4D78Jc?si=WzNITHR4myXBUrzm

Nevertheless, he persists and up to now has orchestrated the murder of more than 34,000 Palestinians under the guise of self-defense and retribution. Allah [The Exalted] says:

وَالَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا سَنَسْتَدْرِجُهُم مِّنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
وَأُمْلِي لَهُمْ ۚ إِنَّ كَيْدِي مَتِينٌ

Those who reject Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), We shall gradually seize them with punishment in ways they perceive not. And I respite them; certainly, My Plan is strong. [Surah al-A’raf. Ayaat 182-183]

[سَنَسْتَدْرِجُهُم – We shall gradually seize them with punishment] – Meaning, Allah provides them with an abundance of sustenance and respite, leading them to believe that they will not be held accountable for their disobedience or face any consequences. Consequently, they grow in disbelief and wrongdoing, causing harm to themselves unknowingly. This is why Allah has says: [إِنَّ كَيْدِي مَتِينٌ -certainly My Plan is strong] [11]

[ سَنَسْتَدْرِجُهُم مِّنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ – We shall gradually seize them with punishment in ways they perceive not]: Imaam Sufyan Ath-Thawree [may Allah have mercy upon him] stated that this means that whenever they engage in (major) sins, Allah grants them a favour by causing them to overlook seeking forgiveness. [12]

We ask Allah:

Our Lord! Make us not a trial for the folk who are Zalimun (polytheists and wrongdoers). And save us by Your Mercy from the disbelieving folk.

Finally, let it be known that this response, in no way, condones the crimes committed by Hamas or others against innocent individuals. Please read the following article below:

A verse recalled by honest people when handling the subtle and obvious “Common Cause Alliances”

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Allah [The Exalted] says:

O you who believe! Stand out firmly for justice, as witnesses to Allah; even though it be against yourselves, or your parents, or your kin, be he rich or poor, Allah is a Better Protector to both (than you). So follow not the lusts (of your hearts), lest you may avoid justice, and if you distort your witness or refuse to give it, verily, Allah is Ever Well-Acquainted with what you do. [Surah An-Nisaa. Ayah 135]

Imam Ibn Al-Qayyim [may Allah have mercy upon him] stated:

One must stand firmly for justice, whether it be in favour or against oneself, one’s parents, one’s close relatives, or one’s dearest friend among the people. If one’s affection towards oneself, parents, and relatives hinders them from standing up for the truth, particularly if the truth aligns with someone they despise and consider an adversary because of them, then only those whose devotion to Allah and His Messenger surpasses all other affections would uphold justice in such circumstances. Furthermore, an individual must uphold justice when dealing with their adversaries and those who deny them their rights. It is unacceptable for animosity towards one’s enemies to result in unjust actions towards them, just as it is unacceptable for self-love, love for one’s parents, and love for relatives to cause one to abandon the pursuit of justice. Therefore, one’s animosity towards someone should not lead them to falsehood, and their love for oneself and their loved ones should not cause one to compromise on the establishment of truth, as one of the righteous predecessors stated, “A just person is someone whose anger does not lead them astray from the path of truth, and whose contentment does not divert them from it.” [1]

Shaikh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah [may Allah have mercy upon him] stated:

The objective is not to transgress against anyone – not the adversary or anyone else; not to disregard their rights or label them with specific descriptions which apply to both them and others. Instead, the objective is to speak based on the virtues of sound knowledge, justice, and religion, just as Allah [The Most High] says:

 يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا كُونُوا قَوَّامِينَ لِلَّهِ شُهَدَاءَ بِالْقِسْطِ ۖ وَلَا يَجْرِمَنَّكُمْ شَنَآنُ قَوْمٍ عَلَىٰ أَلَّا تَعْدِلُوا ۚ اعْدِلُوا هُوَ أَقْرَبُ لِلتَّقْوَىٰ

O you who believe! Stand out firmly for Allah and be just witnesses and let not the enmity and hatred of others make you avoid justice. Be just: that is nearer to piety. [5:8] [2]

Indeed, many years ago, we came across individuals who displayed no inclination toward pursuing the truth. Instead, they opted to align themselves with a particular individual solely out of disdain for others. Their primary objective was to exploit a given circumstance to address their grievances, all the while failing to comprehend that the situation extended beyond the mere identification of true friendship based on their definition. Nevertheless, it would have been prudent for them to acknowledge that a bond forged on convenience or flattery, stemming from a shared cause or a misguided perception of oppression, does not embody genuine loyalty. The individuals in question failed to acknowledge the fundamental truth that the matter at hand extended far beyond mere companionship during moments of adversity. Instead, it revolved around the invaluable presence of those who offered sincere counsel and illuminate the correct course of action to enhance one’s circumstances. Over time, it became abundantly clear that a connection built upon convenience or a fleeting coalition forged upon groundless allegations against others, devoid of introspection or candour, is nothing but a bond that ultimately exposes its people when confronted with trials and tribulations.

Naive companions relished the smooth ride at first, however, when the path grew slightly challenging, their true nature began to reveal itself. Indeed, some of them, to safeguard their interests, went to the extent of unveiling the plots of their previous accomplices. Likewise, it was customary for certain individuals to incessantly forge alliances against a shared adversary, all in an attempt to veil their transgressions or shift blame onto others. However, this deplorable conduct merely served to amplify their sycophantic tendencies and their relentless pursuit of garnering sympathisers, all in a desperate bid to emerge victorious in any argument, regardless of the consequences. As for our elder teachers at Salafipublications, they are known for establishing justice, all by the Tawfeeq of Allah, in accordance with the robust principles of Salafiyyah. We ask Allah to safeguard us and them from every calamity in our religious and worldly affairs. O The Self Subsisting, Upon Whom Everything Depends! By Your mercy I seek assistance; rectify for me all of my affairs and do not leave me to myself, even for the blink of an eye]. As time passes, actions will validate the claims of everyone who transmits the teachings of Al-Allamah Rabee about unity

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Allah [The Exalted] says:

And of mankind there is he whose speech may please you (O Muhammad), in this worldly life, and he calls Allah to witness as to that which is in his heart, yet he is the most quarrelsome of the opponents. And when he turns away, his effort in the land is to make mischief therein and to destroy the crops and the cattle, and Allah likes not mischief. And when it is said to him, “Fear Allah”, he is led by arrogance to (more) crime.

[وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ مَن يُعۡجِبُكَ قَوۡلُهُ ۥ فِى ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا – And of mankind there is he whose speech may please you in this worldly life]: Meaning, the one who hears his speech is pleased when he speaks and he thinks that he has uttered beneficial speech.

He emphasises what he says [وَيُشۡهِدُ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ مَا فِى قَلۡبِهِ – and he calls Allah to witness as to that which is in his heart]: Meaning, he states that Allah knows that what is in his heart agrees with what he says, even though he is lying regarding what he says because his speech contradicts his deeds. His speech would have agreed with his deeds had he been truthful, because this is the case regarding the believers- those who are not hypocrites. And due to this Allah said: [وَهُوَ أَلَدُّ ٱلۡخِصَامِ – yet he is the most quarrelsome of the opponents] (1)- Meaning, extremely quarrelsome based on falsehood. (2) When you disagree with him, you’ll find him to be the most quarrelsome, bigoted, and difficult person to deal with, as well as the ugly characteristics that result from this behaviour, which are the opposite of the manners of the believers- those who make ease their way, submit to the truth and pardon people. (3)

[وَإِذَا تَوَلَّىٰ سَعَىٰ فِى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ لِيُفۡسِدَ فِيهَا وَيُهۡلِكَ ٱلۡحَرۡثَ وَٱلنَّسۡلَ‌ۗ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلۡفَسَادَ – And when he turns away, his effort in the land is to make mischief therein and to destroy the crops and the cattle, and Allah likes not mischief]: Ibn Abbas said, “When he becomes angry”, Al-Hasan said, “When he turns away from the statement he made” (4) or when he gains the upper hand and possesses authority (5), [سَعَىٰ فِى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ لِيُفۡسِدَ فِيهَا – his effort in the land is to make mischief therein]- Meaning, by way of disbelief and oppression. (6) When this person – the one whose speech amazes you – is not in your presence, he strives to commit sins which is tantamount to corruption in the earth, so cattle and crops are destroyed as a result of that corruption. The blessings in the vegetation, fruits, and livestock decrease and become little due to evil deeds. (7)

[وَٱللَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلۡفَسَادَ – and Allah likes not mischief]: Meaning, when it is the case that Allah does not like corruption, then He has an intense hatred for the person who sows corruption in the earth, even if such a person utters a good speech merely on the tongue (i.e. says one thing and does something else).

This Ayah contains proof regarding the fact that the statements uttered by individuals are not proof regarding their truthfulness or whether they are upon falsehood, neither that they are righteous nor wicked until deeds ascertain them. And it is obligatory to examine the condition of those who bear witness, the one who is in the right and the falsifier amongst the people based on the righteousness of their deeds – examine the clear indications and their behaviour, and not to be deceived by how they portray themselves and the praise they give themselves. Then Allah mentioned that when this person – the one who causes corruption in the earth through acts of disobedience to Allah – is commanded to fear Allah, he becomes arrogant and haughty: [ أَخَذَتۡهُ ٱلۡعِزَّةُ بِٱلۡإِثۡمِ‌ۚ -he is led by arrogance to (more) crime]. So, he combines disobedience to Allah and arrogance towards the sincere advisers. (8)

Abdullah Ibn Mas’ud [may Allah be pleased with him] said: “Indeed, the people deliver their speeches effectively and suitably, however, the one whose words align with their actions is the one who has truly attained their share of goodness, while the one whose speech contradicts their actions has only rebuked himself”. (9)

Umar Ibn Al-Khattaab [may Allaah be pleased with him] said: “People were (sometimes) judged by the revealing of a Divine revelation during the lifetime of Allah’s Messenger but now there is no longer any more (new revelation). Now we judge you by the deeds you practice publicly, so we will trust and favour the one who does good deeds in front of us, and we will not call him to account about what he is really doing in secret, because Allah will judge him for that; but we will not trust or believe the one who presents to us an evil deed even if he claims that his intentions were good”. (10)

Imam Abdul-Azeez Bin Baaz [may Allah have mercy upon him] said: “Whoever manifests good, it will be accepted from him and a good suspicion is held about him. And if he manifests evil, it will be held against him and an evil suspicion is held about him”. (11)

We ask Allah:

O Allah! Rectify my religion for me, which is the safeguard of my affairs; rectify my worldly [affairs], wherein is my livelihood; and rectify my Afterlife to which is my return; and make life for me [as a means of] increase in every good and make death for me as a rest from every evil. [1] Accurate Identification of the embodiment of Contemporary Beneficial Sciences and Activities within the Islamic Religion

Imam As-Sadi [may Allah have mercy upon him] stated:

All praise and thanks are due to Allāh. We praise Him, ask for His assistance and forgiveness, and turn to Him in repentance. We seek protection with Allāh from the harm caused by ourselves and our actions. Whomever Allāh guides, no one can lead astray, and whomever Allāh allows to stray (due to a perversion in their heart), then no one can guide. I testify that there is no god worthy of worship besides Allāh, alone, without any partners, and I testify that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger.

This treatise presents conclusive evidence that the Islamic religion encompasses all that is good, compassionate, righteous, rightly guided, and corrective in its teachings, practices, functions, and instructions. It addresses all situations and incorporates the beneficial modern sciences and professions within its framework. The religion does not dismiss these sciences as some ignorant individuals claim, nor (agrees with) those who feign ignorance and believe that these sciences offer nothing new. Rather, whatever is beneficial from these fields for both religious and worldly matters, for communities and individuals, falls under the umbrella of the religion. The religion has clearly pointed out and directed people towards these beneficial affairs and every useful thing until the Day of Judgement; and a clarification that if modern professions are not aligned with the principles and values of religion, their negative impact will outweigh their positive contributions. Nonetheless, this principle necessitates two important considerations:

First, it is essential to know the teachings of the Qur’an and the Sunnah, both in general and in detail. Additionally, one must be aware of the existing affairs and recognised realities that are acknowledged by fair-minded individuals. By being well-informed about these two aspects, it becomes evident that Islamic disciplines, functions, and specific subject matters do not exclude anything that promotes goodness and righteousness. The person who thoroughly understands this uses these two elements as evidence and understands that a lack of either one or both can lead to deficiencies. By grasping the overarching fundamental principles related to the topic, they can connect specific issues back to these fundamental principles. However, if someone speaks on these specific issues without first understanding the general fundamental principles, serious mistakes will be made, leading to confusion only for the ignorant or the stubborn opponents. An Illustration of The Excellent Conduct of The Sahaabah During Disputes and Their Sincere Efforts to Maintain Harmony Without Hiding the Truth or Downplaying Mistakes

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Rabee’ah Al-Aslami [may Allah be pleased with him] narrated: I used to serve Allah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him], so he gave me a piece of land and gave Abu Bakr [may Allah be pleased with him] a piece of land. Then, the worldly life came and we argued over a bunch of palm trees, so Abu Bakr said, ‘It is in my piece of land’ and I said, ‘It is in my piece of land’. There was an exchange of words between Abu Bakr and myself, so Abu Bakr said something to me that I disliked, and he regretted that. He said to me, ‘O Rabee’ah! Say in return to me what I said to you so that it becomes retribution’. I said, ‘I will not do so!’ Abu Bakr said, ‘Say it, or I will call Allah’s Messenger on you!’ I said, ‘I will not do so’. So Abu Bakr abandoned the piece of land and went to the Prophet and I followed him. The people from (the tribe of) Aslam came and said, ‘May Allah have mercy on Abu Bakr! Why would he call Allah’s Messenger on you when he has said to you what he has said?’ I said, ‘Do you know who that is? That is Abu Bakr -the Truthful (as-Siddeeq). He is the one who was in the Cave with the Prophet, and he is the elder of the Muslims! So beware that he turns around and sees you helping me against him and it makes him angry, then Allah’s Messenger comes along and becomes angry because of Abu Bakr’s anger, and then Allah becomes angry due to their anger, and thus Rabee’ah is destroyed!’ So, they said, ‘So what do you want us to do?’ I said, ‘Go back to where you came from’. Abu Bakr went to Allah’s Messenger and I followed him by myself and continued until he reached and informed him of our conversation as it happened. So he (the Prophet) raised his head to me and said, ‘O Rabee’ah! What is going on between you and as-Siddeeq?’ I said, ‘O Allah’s Messenger! This happened and that happened, so he said something to me that I disliked, and he told me to say the same thing back to him so that it would be a retribution’. Allah’s Messenger said, ‘Do not return his comment to him, rather say, may Allah forgive you O Abu Bakr! May Allah forgive you O Abu Bakr!’ Then Abu Bakr turned his face and began to cry”.

Al-Allamah Zayd Bin Hadi Al-Mad’khali [may Allah have mercy upon him] commented below: The hadith contains a remarkable story that provides us with an exhortation and a lesson. It demonstrates the pure hearts of the companions towards each other, showing that even in times of disagreement over worldly matters, they did not boycott one another, nor harboured grudges or hatred, instead, they offered sincere advice. This narrative highlights that the Sahaabah were people of fair play and justice, and they feared falling into disobedience and evil deeds. And if punishment was legislated for an evil deed, they preferred that it is received in this life rather than in the hereafter. This story illustrates the excellence of AbuBakr, his esteemed position among the Sahaabah, in the view of the Prophet, and also in the sight of Allah, as the Prophet held him in great regard and elevated him to his deserved status, just as Allah says in the Qur’an:

إِذۡ هُمَا فِى ٱلۡغَارِ إِذۡ يَقُولُ لِصَـٰحِبِهِۦ لَا تَحۡزَنۡ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ مَعَنَا‌ۖ

The second of two, when they were in the cave, he [Muhammad] said to his companion [Abu Bakr], “Be not sad (or afraid), surely Allah is with us”. [Surah At-Tawbah. Ayah 40]

Abu Bakr was the Prophet’s fellow in the cave. He holds the highest level of virtue among the Ummah after the Prophet, as agreed upon by Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jamaa’ah past and present. Indeed, the Prophet said to some of his other companions regarding Abu Bakr: “Would you not leave my companion for me” – meaning AbuBakr [i.e. don’t bother him, etc][Bukhari 3661]

This narrative highlights the importance of forgiveness and pardoning those who have wronged you, when you can do so and due to a (lawful or overriding) benefit because being forgiving and pardoning others will only bring you honour and a loftier status in the sight of Allah.

This narrative also demonstrates that the companions of the Prophet were not infallible. They made unintentional mistakes, but they were people whom Allah favoured with the privilege of being in the company of the Prophet. They did not persist in their mistakes, as can be seen in this story. Disagreements did arise among them, but they humbled themselves to the truth. They did not reject the truth with falsehood or engage in oppression. Instead, they promptly sought the guidance of Allah’s Messenger to resolve (the disagreements). The Messenger resolved those issues, and all of them were content with the judgment and submitted wholeheartedly.

This narrative highlights the importance of making supplications for others, especially those who have wronged you. Therefore, you supplicate for them that (Allah) rectifies their affairs and forgives them because you have an angel who responds, saying, “Ameen, and may Allah grant you the same”. One should be eager about this practice! The story shows that fulfilling the rights of others in this life is better than delaying it until the Day of Judgment, where no one will forgive another, even if they are close relatives. Additionally, it showcases the wisdom of Rabee’ah Al-Aslami, who advised his companions not to support or argue against Abu Bakr, recognising his esteemed status in the sight of Allah and the Messenger.

What do we derive as a benefit from this story: We must forgive and maintain love for each other when we have disagreements about worldly matters. A person should be eager to give others their rights and also seek forgiveness from those they have argued with. [1] [End of quote]

Do Not Conceal Facts During a Dispute

Allah [The Exalted] says:

وَإِن تَلۡوُ ۥۤاْ أَوۡ تُعۡرِضُواْ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ خَبِيرً۬ا

And if you distort your witness or refuse to give it, verily, Allah is Ever Well-Acquainted with what you do.

Imam Ibn Al-Qayyim [may Allah have mercy upon him] said: Allah [Glorified be He and free is He from all imperfections] mentions two reasons that will inevitably lead to concealment of truth then He warned against them and issued a threat: the first of them is distortion and the second is to turn away from giving truthful witness. That is because when a proof that supports the truth is manifested and the one who wants to repel it finds no way of doing so, he refrains from mentioning it and thus becomes a silent devil, and sometimes he distorts it. Distortion is of two types -distorting words and meanings. Distorting words occur when one utters a word in a context in which it does not establish the truth – either adding to the word, omitting something from it, or substituting it with something else to the extent that the listener is made to believe something, while something else is intended, just as the Yahood [i.e. those Yahood in Madinah who disbelieved in the Prophet and hated] used to distort words when giving Salaam to the Prophet [i.e. saying As-Saamu Alayka (death be upon you), instead of saying Assalaamu alaykum)]. This is one type of distortion. The second type of distortion is related to meanings – distorting the wording, giving it an interpretation that is not intended by the one who uttered it and pretending not to know its unintended meaning; or dropping other meanings intended by it. Allah [The Exalted] says: [وَإِن تَلۡوُ ۥۤاْ أَوۡ تُعۡرِضُواْ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ خَبِيرً۬ا – and if you distort your witness or refuse to give it, verily, Allah is Ever Well-Acquainted with what you do].

When it is the case that a witness is required to bear witness based on what the affair should be [i.e. the wholesome truth], therefore neither should he hide nor change it. Turning away from the testimony is tantamount to concealment and distortion is tantamount to alteration and substitution. [2]

Do Not Seek to Establish Something Based On a False Analogy

Allah [The Most High] says that the brothers of Prophet Yusuf [peace be upon him] said about him and his brother Bin Yameen: [إِن يَسْرِقْ فَقَدْ سَرَقَ أَخٌ لَّهُۥ مِن قَبْلُ َ – “If he steals, there was a brother of his [Yusuf (Joseph)] who did steal before (him)]. [Surah Yusuf. Ayah 77]

Imam Ibn Al-Qayyim [may Allah have mercy upon him] stated: Allah informs us about Yusuf’s brothers that when they found the (golden) bowl in their brother’s (Bin Yamin) bag, they said: “If he steals, there was a brother of his (Yusuf) who did steal before (him).” Therefore, they did not draw a (sound) comparison (regarding this affair) between the basis of the affair and its shared characteristics based on a (sound) reason nor its evidence; rather they attached one to the other without comprehensive evidence other than the mere similarity between Bin Yamin and Yusuf (as blood brothers); so, they said, “This is analogy regarding the similarity between him and his brother in many ways, and that this one (Bin Yamin) has committed theft just as that one (Yusuf) committed theft (in the past). This (analogy of theirs) is a void comparison between similarities (in the reality of this specific affair) and an analogy based on a mere comparison between (two) images that is devoid of a shared cause (or reason) that would necessitate that the two are the same. It is a corrupt analogy. The similarity due to being blood brothers is not a shared cause (or reason) for being similar with regards to committing theft. There is no evidence of similarity in this, so the comparison is one devoid of a (sound or real) shared reason (or cause) and its evidence. [3]

Beware of Burdensome Speech

The Messenger [peace and blessing of Allah be upon him] said: “Indeed, Allah hates the eloquent one among men who moves his tongue round (within his teeth), as cattle do”. Al-Allaamah Abdul Muhsin Al-Abbaad [may Allah preserve him] said: “The person intended in this hadeeth is the one who speaks eloquently while using obscure or ambiguous language, immerses himself in speech, and burdens himself. He burdens himself in speech and thus utters something blameworthy. However, if this [eloquence] is not done by way of burdening oneself in speech, such as the one Allah has granted eloquence and he utilises it in his speech to clarify the truth, then this is not blameworthy. Allaah hates the person who speaks eloquently and utters that which is blameworthy due to deliberately utilising obscure, ambiguous, and burdensome speech. This person is likened to a cow that moves its tongue round [among its teeth] when eating. It is said that a cow is not like other animals because other animals use their teeth but a cow uses its tongue. This hadeeth forbids the likes of this action [i.e. eloquent burdensome speech] and the one who does so is hated by Allah. [4]

Do Not Be Quarrelsome

The Prophet [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] said, “The most hated of men in the sight of Allah is the one who is most quarrelsome”. Al-Allaamah Zayd Bin Haadi al-Mad’khali [may Allah have mercy upon him] said: “A warning against (blameworthy) argumentation, falling into wicked behaviour and its evil, especially if the argumentation is based on falsehood. As for when it is based on truth, there is nothing wrong with that for the one who has a right to do so; but he should be just in his argument so that he does not enter into oppression or error, and Allah knows best. The hadeeth is related to a warning against lying during argumentation, falsehood, and adorned speech within it until one changes falsehood into truth and truth into falsehood; not bothered about making an oath, lying, or giving false witness. All this occurs from an extremely quarrelsome person, who goes into excess in the affair and does not feel shy in the presence of Allah- neither fears punishment in this life nor the next life. When it is the case that the extremely quarrelsome person is blameworthy, then indeed the person who has good conduct – if entitled to something – during an argument and other affairs will not utter except truth, and will not seek after anything except the truth- neither lies nor deceives the Shariah judge. This is one of the characteristics of the people of Imaan – those whom Allah praised in the Qur’an and the Prophet [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] praised them in the pure Sunnah. [5]

Do Not Misuse Eloquence

Imam Al-Bukhari [may Allah have mercy upon him] said: Chapter: Chapter: [Whoever is given the right of his brother through a judicial decision]: Umm Salamah [may Allah be pleased with her] reported that Allah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] said, “Indeed, I am only a human being and you people (i.e. disputants) come to me with your disputes. And it may be that one of you can present his case more eloquently than the other and I consider him truthful, and judge in his favour. So if I ever judge and give the right of a brother to his brother, then it is a piece of hellfire and let him not take it”.

Some Benefits Derived From This Hadeeth: The Ummah (i.e. the Shariah Judges) judge based on what is apparent; however, the judgment of a judge cannot prohibit the lawful and allow the unlawful (i.e. when proven erroneous). This Hadeeth contains a refutation against those who say that the Messengers possess knowledge of the unseen. This hadeeth also shows that speech can be seen to be true based on what is apparent, but it is truly falsehood concerning what is hidden within it. This hadeeth shows that the one who receives a judgment in his favour is more aware than every other person as to whether he is entitled to it or whether he is a falsifier. So, he takes it if entitled or leaves it if he is a falsifier because, in reality, a judgment cannot change an affair from what it was in origin (i.e. the original truth in the affair before its distortion or concealment]. This hadeeth shows the sinfulness of the one who argues based on falsehood until he receives what he wants publicly, whilst he is upon falsehood. This hadeeth is proof to show that a scholar can make a mistake and it is a refutation against those who say that every Mujtahid is correct. This hadeeth shows that the Mujtahid is forgiven (when he makes a mistake). [6] [End of quote]

We ask Allah to bless us with fear of Him, good behaviour, and truthfulness during disagreements. It is crucial to be cautious of downplaying bad behaviour out of a desire to be not seen as mistaken. By minimising the seriousness of bad behaviour, one aims to manipulate others into believing their distorted version of events. This behaviour is not only driven by a guilty conscience but rather by a desire to deceive and control the observers. Avoid adopting the strategies employed by those who attempt to convince others that their actions are not as dreadful or detrimental as they may appear. Similarly, be cautious of tactical manipulators who may confess to a fraction of their wrongdoing, just enough to create the illusion of accepting responsibility. However, it is important to note that admitting to a few minor points does not equate to fully acknowledging their actions. These tactics are merely a part of the game of managing impressions. Changing their ways becomes exceedingly challenging for these individuals as they downplay the gravity of their actions. It has been observed many times that individuals who consistently downplay the significance of matters are unlikely to tackle the problems they need to fix and take responsibility for. Trivializing is just one of the tactics they use to hinder the progress of sincere discussions and rectification. Therefore, it is important not to be influenced by excuses and attempts to minimise the importance of an individual’s obligation to fulfil on behalf of others, regardless of any appeals for unity or exaggerated statements.

Since 1995, we have met two categories of individuals. The First Group: Individuals who have consistently upheld integrity, provided valuable advice, stood firmly against Ahlul Bidah, promoted unity, avoided causes of disunity, and earned the trust of the people through their unwavering commitment by the Tawfeeq of Allah. This is Salafipublications and others known to us. The Second Group: People who slowly disclosed their aspirations for leadership, placed their importance above all else, and later proclaimed themselves as advocates for unity, but it became evident to anyone with even a small amount of common sense that every person seeking leadership immediately undermines themselves by downplaying significant matters while claiming to promote unity. This is because the desire for leadership itself is one of the main causes of division, and trivializing important issues during this pursuit has always been a tactic used to divert attention from one’s misdeeds. And Allah is the one whose Aid is sought!

Just as You made my external form beautiful, make my character beautiful as well].

The Ruling On Visiting and Exploring Ancient Ruins of The Destroyed Nations

In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.

Al-Allamah Rabee Bin Hadi Al-Mad’khali [may Allah preserve him] stated:

The focus on artefacts by Archaeologists in this era was not present during the era of the Prophet’s companions and the pious predecessors. Instead, Muslims began to imitate the Europeans and Americans, who aimed to revive pre-Islamic nationalistic traits like Pharaonism, Babylonianism, and Phoenicianism in the Muslim lands. They were largely successful in achieving these objectives, leading to the emergence of pre-Islamic national pride and the glorification of these nationalistic identities in Muslim societies.

Imam Al-Bukhaaree said: “Abdullah Bin Muhammad Al-Ju’fee narrated to us that Abdur Razzaaq narrated to them from Az-Zuhree who narrated from Salim, who narrated from Ibn Umar who said that when the Prophet [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] passed by Al-Hijr, he said, ‘Do not enter the dwelling places of those people who were unjust to themselves unless you enter in a weeping state lest the same calamity similar to theirs should befall you’. Then he covered his head and increased his speed till he crossed the valley. Yahyah Bin Bukayr narrated to us who said that Malik narrated to us from Abdullah Bin Deenaar who reported from Ibn Umar who said that Allah’s Messenger [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] said to his companions who were at Al-Hijr, “Do not enter upon these people who are being punished, except in a weeping state, lest the same calamity similar to theirs should befall you”. [Sahih Al-Bukhaari. Numbers 4419 and 4420]

The two Prophetic reports illustrate the peril of entering into the places of those who have earned Allah’s wrath and were consequently annihilated for their disbelief and rejection of the prophets and their message. The Prophet prohibited entry into such places, except for those who fear Allah and dread His punishment. In cases of dire necessity, he may enter these locations while weeping. It is feared that one who enters the dwellings of those who have been punished may suffer the same punishment. It is legislated for those who approach these dwellings to quickly pass by while covering their faces, following the example of Allah’s Messenger. Do Muslims, including archaeologists and those who encourage them, comprehend what is embodied in this guidance from the Prophet, who speaks not from his own desires? Additionally, Allah’s Messenger advised those passing through the valleys of Muhassar to hasten, as it was the location where Allah destroyed the people of the Elephant.

So, do those who dig up the artefacts of Ad, Thamud, the Ashaab Al-Ukh’dud, the Pharaohs, and the Babylonians, follow the teachings of Allah’s Messenger or blindly follow the enemies of Allah who establish partnerships to explore the artefacts of the destroyed nations to entice them (towards) the pride of the pre-Islamic era of ignorance? I and others have read numerous boasting by Muslims or those who ascribe to Islam, such as the statement of one of them, (as follows), “O Misree (i.e. Egyptian)! Be proud of the builders of your glory when people were sleeping”. He boasts about the Pharaonic artefacts such as the pyramids and other than them.
